Yui tries her best to battle this yoma. Yui thinks maybe this was a bad idea to separate. Yui looks for a weakness on this golem of a yoma. She notices there a crack in the rocks that form this yoma.

Yui thinks hard on how she could use this to her advantage. When suddenly yui hit repeatly with rocks the yoma has thrown at her. Yui falls to the ground. Thinking of how to escape and survive the fall. Yui twists water and ice around her and makes a makeshift drill. She drills threw the ground making a tunnel beneath the yoma and appears on the other side. "Well that an idea i can do" says yui. While the yoma back turn yui repeats what she did and begins to drill at the crack in the rock. Once in she forces water between both sides and pushs. The golem begins to split in two.

The rafflesia shot a vile looking liquid at Arashi, forcing her to jump out of the way. Some of the spray stuck to her left foot, adhering it right to the ground. Unable to move, she summoned a small raincloud in an attempt to wash it away. In the meantime, sheshot a few chakra at it, hoping to hinder it somehow. Two hit a large petal and one hit it's tentacle-like arm. She cut off a petal and slashed the arm, but that only made it angrier. It advanced on her even faster, threatening to bring her demise much faster than she anticipated.

The rain was working to release her foot, but not fast enough. The few chakra she had left were no match for the beast's solid body, and it finally confronted her. Taking her into it's tentacled hand, it forced her into the hole in the middle of the flower. Arashi was helpless and was engulfed with nothing more than a scream. Inside was a dark chamber that felt both squishy and vile. Soon enough, it started filling with a strange liquid; one she was pretty sure she had never encountered before. It didn't settle with her well, so she slowly spun the wind outside, making sure it gained velocity by the second. When it was sufficient enough for her, she added in a drenching rain and some lightning to accompany it. She sure hoped it would work.

A cry of pain escaped Tsubaki as the Yoma sent her tumbling and skidding across the pavement. Somehow she'd managed to keep a hold on her sword after being thrown. "Come on, you damn dog," she growled pushing herself to her feet. She tightened her grip on the hilt of her weapon, the blade glowing faintly in response. The Yoma snarled at her, black liquid dripping from its maw. Tendrils erupted from its back and rushed at her.

Tsubaki managed to leap out of the way. It surprised her, how much faster her react time was. Not to mention her general speed and agility when moving around. It made dodging this thing's attacks a little more doable.

Maxine walked down the street, aimlessly wandering around in a vain attempt to find something to do. By her ankle walked Kyubey, strolling along at a brisk pace.

"So Max, have you considered my offer?" Kyubey spoke as they moved down the sidewalk. Max chuckled a tad.

"Yes Kyubey, and the answer is the same as it was five minutes ago." Silence hung between the two for a few moments.

"Well, I have decided upon a way to expedite your decision." Max raised an eyebrow but stayed her course.

"Oh?"

"Indeed," Kyubey said. He hopped on Max's shoulder, somewhat to her dismay, and began scanning the area with his head. "I have arranged a meeting with another magical girl. She should be meeting you here very soon, and she'll give you a tour of the whole experience." Max stopped and looked at Kyubey with confusion.

"How meet here? I've just been aimlessly wandering."

"You merely thought you were. I have been subtly guiding you the whole time." Max thought back, and now that she thought about it she noticed how. Kyubey had turned all the corners first, and Max instinctually had followed. She'd never even realized. She smiled.

"Clever." Kyubey told her to wait there until the other magical girl arrived, and she did so.

Katja had been on her way to aim the others, though she didn't really need to they should be able to deal with their Yoma it was not her job to help them. It was as she been jumping in the direction of her trainee that she had gotten a call from Kuybey, their "manager" and his word took priority. It seemed there was another that he wished to have shown around, it looked like interns were becoming the standard over simply making a contract. Well it was not her job to question the management so she changed her direction to where she was needed.

Katja appeared at the location by stepping though one of her rifts. " This is the new intern?" Katja asked her voice lacking even interest despite the question.

" Punctual as ever Katja, and yes she is requesting to know what being a magical girl is about as she is having a hard time with a wish He said looking to Max then to Katja . " I want you to once again show a girl around as you did a great job last time " He said mostly for Max to hear.

Katja looked at the girl her expression not changing one bit as she regarded the girl with a less emotional look than even kuybey who at least put on a mask. " Very well" She said equally sounding uncaring despite the new work load that had been put on her

" Good I knew you would help you are always so willing to help" " He said to others that might be a complement but this was more likely a subtle way to tease or take a jab at katja.

Katja just nodded not seeming to care or register the possible jab at her she had a new task and that was what took priority, and it wasn't like insults could hurt her anymore so why should she respond if she noticed them anyways. " What are your questions?" Katja asked not bothering with any normal formalities or niceties in conversations.

Max frowned a bit. "Huh, right to the point aren't ya? You don't bother with the formalities, huh..." she quickly smiled and laughed. "I like you! Nonetheless, my first question is what your name is." She stuck out her hand for a hand shake. "My name's Max, and before you ask yes, I'm aware that's a very western name. My mother was an American."

" She has never been very good with emotions, or getting along with people, or being normal, that maybe what makes her such a good magical girl" Kuybey said taking another jab at the unfeeling katja teasing her had become something of a habit.

" Katja Glinka, and i do not care about your birth " Katja said giving Max a hand shake thought he handshake was lacking in conviction seeming more like a programmed response.

Max frowned after that statement. Now she wasn't so sure she'd like this girl, so it was a good thing she wasn't out to make friends. "As for questions, I don't really know all that much. I... well, didn't have time to prepare in advance, as Kyubey didn't think it pertinent to tell me ahead of time. I'm just kinda thinking of shadowing, as Kyubey told me most of the stuff I need to know... except.

"What do you think about being a magical girl? Kyubey told me what I'd need to do, but not necessarily what people think of being one," she said, before realizing that a girl as unfeeling as her may not have much to say on this matter.

" It is a job, with no real payment, no chance for advancement and it threatens your life however you get one desire any desire granted in exchange for it . It is a simple as that" Katja said still seeming to go no further than the surface no mention of satisfaction of helping others or the rush of a fight or even just having your wish granted.

" If your looking for an emotional response we will need to find someone else e she can't feel " Kuybey revealed feeling the need to make mention of it so that his prospect wouldn't think Katja was the norm.

Only but two minutes later, Arashi landed on the moist ground, this section of the park essentially transformed into a low wetland. She looked at the flower that had, ironically, bloomed from another flower. She took the four grief seeds, though she didn't think her risks had proved worth the prize. No matter; what was done is done. After using one to clear her soul gem, she realized that she had two grief seeds to dispose of, the formerly used one becoming active from all the dark energy sitting around inside of it. She sighed because she knew she had to summon him back once again.

"Kuybey? I have presents for you. Get your mangy pelt over here," she called, disgusted that she had to see him again. He was probably her least favorite being on the entire planet, but she had no other means of disposing her grief seeds, so she simply awaited his appearance. While she did, she walked out of the forest, breathing in the beautifully combined floral scents and sunlight that bathed the city.

@Karcen

Kuybey or rather another Kuybey appeared soon after he was called, it wasn't like humans could tell the difference and his kind all shared the same mind in a way humans couldn't understand so every Kuybey was Kuybey.

" Did something happen you seem to be in a bad mood Arashi Kuybey said

Arashi scoffed then tossed the grief seeds right to him, not bothering to stop her gait or even turn to look at him. "I'm always in a bad mood when you're around," she stated coldly. She never really trusted the incubator, even when he promised to save her life. The only reason she reluctantly accepted was because she had no other choice. But not long after, she had acquired knowledge that he had intentionally kept from her, resulting in a large and rather destructive argument. Ever since then, she had only ever bothered to contact him when she needed to be rid of her grief seeds.

" Well if that is all i must get back to working on preparations for Beltane " Kuybey said sitting where he was after mentioning a term likely none of the magical girls had heard before as such events were rare.

She stopped for a moment, but only so. Then she kept on going, waving her hand off. "I don't want to know. You can't trick me into falling for another of your scams. I know exactly how you work," she stated, keeping her eyes forward. She had almost been tempted to ask about it, but knowing Kuybey, she couldn't be bothered.

" I have never scammed you Arashi, i kept my end of the bargain besides why would i want to lose so many magical girls all at once it is so hard to replace them in a new city" Kuybey said appeared sitting in her path giving out another little bit of information which was true from a certain perspective.

Tsubaki's breaths came ragged, heavy as she studied the flower and seeds before her. It all happened so fast; she'd been losing the fight, which probably wasn't much of a surprise given it was her first battle and she had to handle it completely alone. The creature had lunged at her to deliver a finishing blow, she just reacted. It felt like pure instinct had taken over as she plunged her blade into the creature, bringing it down.

But the fight was over, that's all that really mattered to her. "Now comes figuring out what to do with you . . ." She muttered as she sheathed her sword and plucked the four grief seeds. Kyubey had told her they were used to purify her soul gem, that if she let it get too polluted it would kill her. But he neglected to mention how one goes about doing that. She looked at her soul gem and mentally noted that the blood red crystal did look a little darker than before. "Bah, what a pain."

Arashi stopped just long enough to give him a warning glare, then veered off to continue on her way. "You can say whatever you like. I know you could never care for the fate of a magical girl. Your lies no longer hold any power over me."

" Maybe maybe not but i do have an interest in keeping people in this city and on this planet alive and when have i ever given out information when i didn't feel you needed to know about it, simply i haven't so you need to know about this " Kuybey said telling the truth about himself and how he tended to give out information.

Meanwhile at Tsubaki's location Kuybey or another Kuybey appeared there really was no limit to how many Kuybey there were but rarely did they let so many people see them at once in the same city, but it was unlikely that any of those they spoke to would run into one another as they spoke.

" Good job Tsubaki i knew you would be a natural slaying you first Yoma on your first day not everyone can say they have managed that, now just press the grief seed to your gem and pull away he instructed her.

"Don't patronize me. I know you withhold information on purpose and why would I need to know about something that will probably get me killed because you decide to conveniently leave something else out?" she posed, still refusing to look at the vile creature.

Tsubaki glanced down at the little cat . . . rabbit . . . thing. "Should have figured you'd pop up when I started thinking about you." He seemed to have a knack for doing that. Shrugging, she followed his instructions and purified the gem. Much to her surprise only one was needed to clean it. "Huh, neat." She quietly mused before looking back at Kyubey, "Take it you want this now, huh?" She held up the used seed before tossing it over to him. "Can the rest of these be kept safely? I mean they tend to react negatively around a normal person..."

" Because i gain nothing if you all die Kuybey said if Arashi wanted him to be the greedy being she thought he was he would play that up " Besides you hate me and this could be your chance to be free leave being a magical girl behind" he said

The mouth on kuybey's back opened as he caught and ate the grief seed " And grief seeds can be stored just keep them out of the ground, and keep them from becoming flowers and you will be fine, it is rather convenient. SO how are you enjoying being a magical girlHe said playing the part of a caring boss.

Tsubaki shrugged a little, wincing. "Painful," she muttered before looking at the destruction her little conflict had caused. "It's a good thing damage done to slip space doesn't transfer to the real world. I made a bit of a mess."

" It is a handy feature " Kuybey commented " Well at least it seems i was right abotu you, you have the potential to be powerful, perhaps the most powerful magical girl, though there is a way to make sure of that Kuybey said

Tsubaki held up a hand to Kyubey, "Can I at least get a chance to heal before you try and fling me at more Yoma?" A second battle wasn't sounding all that appealing. Food and finishing playing through the Twilight Princess remake? That sounded like a better plan for the rest of the day.

" Oh do not worry the Beltane is still a times off just telling you that you could skip a few levels and spend less time fighting and more relaxing not everyone is a workaholic like Katja is i know some of you want your own lives and with power you can do that Kuybey explained letting the idea of free time sink in.
