"I mean there's likely more to it than just that, but it's a start alright." Something like this would take some time to learn to control, that much was certain. Only time would tell if it would have more forms than just a wave of energy. Maybe I could use it to extend the blade somehow? Though she was better off grasping the basics for the time being.

Katja watched and as one might expect did not look impressed or excited. There had to be more to this power while not always directly related to the strength of the wish powers were generally tied to them and an energy slash had to have more to it

The sir by katja shimmered and a figure covered in thick black armor with a massive shield stepped forth. It was Beowolf in his tower stance named after the huge shield carried.

"This is Beowolf I want you to cut him like you did the tree" she said as her servant got into a good enough position with surprising speed ready to be cut in half.

Tsubaki nodded, tightening her grip on the hilt as she watched the servant get into position. Cutting through his shield would be more difficult than accidentally cutting a tree. She focused heavily on the blade, on a mental image of it extending, cutting down anything in its path. The weapon glowed a brilliant white in response. A bright beam seemed to come from the blade as she swung it. An extension of the weapon itself. But would it be enough to cut through that armor?

The slash cut though the armor , the flesh and bone that was below sending out a wave of very human red blood from the cut until the servant simply vanished returning to where the other servants were though it would not be able to be called upon for a time. The slash had done more that Katja expected but it was at least a good display of what tsubaki could do with this little understanding of her own powers.

" That was more than i expected most Yoma can't get though his armor that easily" Katja commented not seeming to care that one of her servants had seemingly just been slain.

Tsubaki cleared her throat, lowering her weapon. "I . . . can't say I was expecting him to bleed like that..." Concern was evident in her eyes as she glanced over to Katja, "I didn't kill one of your followers, did I?" Chances are, had it not looked like blood she probably wouldn't have been so bothered. But it looked like she had practically cut a human in half. A human! That couldn't have been what just happened, right?

" interesting I didnt think the human part of the yoma still existed. Umm katja I dont think using your servants will be effective in training if they get whiped out in one blow. Do you mind if I show tsubaki somethings?" Says Yui.

" Beowolf is dead but he will return, when slain my servants return to my plane to recover just like if they had been injured" Katja explained as even the blood seemed to slowly fade " And they do bleed because they were once humans, well before they were Yoma" She explained when Yui spoke up. She could see the logic in that though there was difference between standing there and taking it and actually trying to fight. " You may though there is a difference between letting one get hit to test the power and one dodging or attacking from distance "

Tsubaki blinked, looking over to Yui. "Yoma used to be humans . . . ?" What happened to the whole 'they're a manifestation or negative emotion' story? Having to track down and kill something that was a human... Now that was much more difficult than putting down some mass of energy and magic. It almost made the girl feel sick.

" Yes when a human that is sufficiently depressed comes in contact with a Yoma seed which is mode of anger and sadness they mutate and become a Yoma" Katja explained simply " i believe magical girls are immune to this though so no need to worry" She said not thinking of how this might effect someone emotionally just that they might think they could change as well.

"So we're just hunting down and killing other humans?" Tsubaki's voice shook slightly as she tried to process the news. How could they be so okay with something like that!? Granted, Katja didn't seem to care about anything. But Yui . . . even she seemed so nonchalant about the situation. It just didn't make sense.

" Sorry the truth of it is yoma were human. We were told we fight yoma and that they are created from negative emotions but the fact are many magical girls are told half the story. If we were told the full truth by kyubey we wouldnt become magical girls. Then the world would be destroyed by yoma."Says yui.

" Yoma are not human, they no longer have sentient thought, and will kill if left alone. If you have a problem with that i would suggest you think of it as a mercy to them as you are putting whatever tiny bit of humanity you think is in them to peace for long as they are Yoma there is nothing really left of them inside " She said telling her own form of half truth not wanting to let in on the intellect of her servants.

Tsubaki was quiet, tightening her grip on her sword. Both girls did have a point about the whole situation, but it didn't make it any easier. "So that's it then?" She murmured, "Has anyone even tried to find another way?"

" No but it is not impossible that there might be another way but no ones power can change them back to humans " Katja says once again telling half truths but being a bit more honest than Kuybey himself might as in theory she might be able to turn a Yoma to human after all one or two of hers did have personalities and memories.

Tsubaki was quiet, she couldn't look at either of them as she tried to figure out what to do with this new information. Yoma used to be human . . . and right now, killing them was the only way to stop anymore humans from dying. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, right? Right...? No matter how true that was, it certainly didn't make the thought of having to hunt down even former humans any easier to stomach. But what choice did she have? If they ignored them, then they'd just go around killing even more people. But if they did kill them... that was still someone that would have had a family, a family that would be left grieving, grow depressed, and-

Nothing but a cruel cycle.

" the only idea I ever had was someone wish could change Yoma to human but that not the best method" Says yui.

After thinking a bit yui speaks again. " so do you want to train with me tsubaki?" Yui holds her soul gem waiting for an answer.

How could they be so calm about it? How could they be so okay with killing them and not even looking into other ways to help them? Her mind clashed with the greyed morals behind the situation. But it wasn't like she had much choice in the matter. If Yoma weren't stopped, they could easily kill hundreds. Not to mention the entire soul gem situation...

"Fine," She said in a low voice, turning to face Yui. "Let's just stop wasting time."

Water surround yui transforming her into her magical girl form. " not that you need to be reminded but dont actually to hurt me. "Says yui as water picks her . Yui appears to be surfing but without a board. A smile shows on her face. " are you ready tsubaki?"

Tsubaki shifted slightly, not too sure what to expect. "Um . . . ready as I'll ever be I guess." She raised her blade slightly, watching the other girl. She remembered that Yui could control water and ice, not to mention she was more experienced than her... Yes, let's attack the one that hasn't hasn't figured out what they're capable of. What could possibly go wrong?

Arashi stood on the top of a tower, gleaming at the sight of the vast city. This is bigger than I could even imagine. She missed some of the natural aspects of her town, but relished the new scene. I could get used to this territory. I bet it never gets old. Then again, it's probably already taken. She sat down, both taking in the new and dwelling over the old. Unable to come to a decision, she leaned back and stared at the clouds. They looked the same as from back home, which comforted her a bit from all the new, almost disorienting aspects of the big city.

" your wrong if your thinking I am going to attack. I want you to attack . Well short of I want you to hit my waves as they go around you. Do you understand?" says yui as she circles tsubaki and katja as she rides the water like a wave.

"I suppose so, yeah." Tsubaki's crimson gaze continued to follow Yui as she seemingly floated around them on the water beneath her feet. The teen shifted slightly, attempting to readjust her grip on the sword. Lightweight or not, it was probably a matter of time before her hands would grow calloused from using it. Of course before your skin toughened, it always seemed to blister first. That'll be fun to deal with later.

" so let's start with something simply like a 4 ft wave. Try to split the wave in half as it comes at you. Ready Go!" Say yui as she sends the relativity small wave at tsubaki.

After a fruitful nap, she decided it was time to get some work done. She headed down to the streets, aimlessly roaming among the bustle of people going to and fro. Before she knew it, her soul gem started to glow (I'm assuming this is still a thing). She followed its guidance, down a rundown alleyway and into a deserted square in the midst of some buildings. It was but 50 meters by 50 meters, making her a bit uncomfortable.

After scanning the area, she didn't initially see anything, which disconcerted her further. She began to poke around, looking for a sign that a yoma might be there. Before long, she realized that she had no idea what she was doing, or even if the yoma here were the same as what she was used to. Shoving off her worry, she continued her search. When she was crouching and shuffling around some boxes, she heard a rustle behind her.

Whipping her head around, she saw something lurking in the shadows. Her soul gem glowed with such intensity that she had no doubts about transforming right then and there. She smiled and stood up, still facing the shadows. "You can come out and play now."

Tightening her grip on the weapon, Tsubaki focused another beam like she had used to cut down Beowulf. Lunging, she sent a few swift slashes at the wave. Honestly, she should have known better. Her attacks cut through the water, yes. But it's not like it was a blast capable of scattering the water. Even if Yui considered it a small wave, a four foot high wall of water careening in your direction was more than enough to put you on your ass.

Tsubaki leapt aside out of the water's path. It was probably the fastest she'd even moved before and took a few seconds to register her own movements.
