" You are at the normal point for starting " Katja said honestly that was about all anyone knew " You at least will understand the fight can be dangerous have you tried out going into slip space or using your powers?" She asked as if going down a list rather than actual interest in the girl though this was her way of expressing it as she could view the girl as at least a co worker.

Tsubaki thought for a moment before shaking her head. "I've only been in slip space once and that was before I made a wish. I really haven't had a chance to actually try to use any powers yet." She shifted, "Sorting out two different timelines is pretty distracting and honestly that took priority."

 

[Karcen]

" so your wish had something to do with time you will likely get something very useful[/b]" Katja said the first lesson already apparent to her getting the girl used to slipping into and out of slip space and telling her about Yoma and power usage " First lets go to slip space it is best to focus on the soul gem and turning it on, that should get you into slip space" Katja said having to think to how she did it for the first time in forever.

Slipping the scarlet gem from her pocket, Tsubaki gently brushed her thumb over it as she studied it. Just focus on it and think about it as turning it on... A faint glow was emitted from the soul gem as her surroundings began to shimmer and distort. It was only for about a second, but it still felt strange. After it stopped, really the only difference was the lack of other people in the area. "Can't say I actually noticed a change when Kyubey did it, but I guess this is slip space."

 

[Karcen]

Katja followed after Tsubaki after the girl started her shift arriving at the back half of the sentence. " It is " She said appearing in her magical girl outfit though no servant accompanied her " At least you made it with ease there have been mistakes that have caused embarrassing incidents" She said though the embarrassment had not been hers though she had ended up in in several situations. " Well now that we are in private i am sure you have question ask them" Katja said not so much asking but demanding them.

 

[Lil Shirou]

" something or someone open slip space nearby. Maybe a mile or so away" yui thought to herself. " I should go" yui says out loud as she pays for her tea and muffins heading towards it.

 

[Karcen]

Kuybey appeared near to Yuki or rather on her shoulder " Ah there you are Yuki i have good news a new girl has joined the fight" He said as if unaware of the slip space entrance " Another girl is tutoring her though"

Tsbuaki couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at Katja, "Embarrassing incidents?" She asked before shaking her head, "You know what, don't go there. I'm better off asking someone like Yui about that one." At least Yui seemed like she could tell a good story. Sighing, the girl thought for a moment. "I guess it's best to start with how you actually track down a Yoma . . . I mean when I asked Kyubey about that or how I'd even be able to use my powers all he said was 'you'll just know.' I clearly don't. UNless there haven't been any Yoma around in the past day or something."

 

[Karcen]

" he wasn't lying about that finding yoma is some what instinctual, but i find that you can go abotu it two ways either feeling for a disturbance in slip space it is like a far off tear that you feel, or you can do as i normally do and wander around slip space and hunt them from here as that saves lives more effectively than waiting for them to strike." Katja said surprisingly it was hard to describe things that weren't normal you just seemed to know how to do things most likely thanks to the gems given what they were. " The same applies for calling on your powers the knowledge is there but using it effectively is something that can only be done though practice Why don't you try using your power right now, just don;t face me when using it."

 

[Lil Shirou]

" so guessing tsubaki girl is that girl you mention" yui says fully knowing that could be wrong in that guess." Who is training her then".

 

[Karcen]

"" Katja though she did wish to see you again Katja just happened to be closer at the time" Kuybey said not mentioning he found katja tended to give him a more positive reputation than other girls did even if she may or may not make a good teacher.

 

[KageYuuki]

"Tracking them in here would make a lot more sense," Tsubaki said, nodding slightly. She tilted her head as Katja said not to face her when trying to access her power. "Well, I'd prefer not to get into a fight with you..." The girl hesitated, "unless you literally meant not to face you."

 

[Karcen]

" I only fight magical girls when they attack me or get in my way, we are co workers in the end, however mt servants can serve as dueling partners should the need arise however for now just treat your powers like a gun don't use them when pointing at someone that can lead to disaster " Katja said remembering one time a magical girl had killed another on accident with her powers.

 

[Lil Shirou]

Yui rush to them entering slip space. She sees tsubaki and katja. " am I late for the party" yui says as a joke. " do you mind if I watch or help?"

 

[KageYuuki]

"Fair enough, and I doubt I"ll be ready for a sparring session anytime soon." Tsubaki again turned her attention to the soul gem resting in the palm of her hand. First order of business was actually changing forms. It'd have to be like going to slip space, right? Her crimson eyes narrowed down at the gem. Being spaced out, she didn't hear Yui calling out to them though she did feel a strange ripple in the back of her mind as the girl entered the dimension.


Finally, the gem started to glow. It was dim at first but quickly became a blinding light that forced Tsubaki to tightly shut her eyes. As the light faded, she looked to see her soul gem had vanished and her hand was gloved. The girl's eyes widened slightly as she looked over her new form. It was far different from the other magical girl's she had seen. The dark, blood red cloth closely hugged her form. She wasn't sure what it was made from, it was soft and smooth to the touch but didn't feel like leather. A cuirass made from dark leather acted as armor. Pieces of silver metal acted as embellishment and extra reinforcement along her torso while her soul gem rested at the center of her collar bone. Fingerless gloves and metal vambraces shielded her arms.


"Can't say I disapprove," she said finally, secretly relieved it wasn't some kind of frilly dress.

" i have no objections to you joining it is the basics of power usage" Katja said informing Yui how far they had gone though it had only been a few minutes sense they started " i was suggesting that she next try to use her power as there is little telling what it could be at this point"

 

[Lil Shirou]

" hmmm, seems like a good plan. Are you using your servants for this? Or I could use my powers. I like to see what her powers are though. " says yui. Yui didnt have a teacher she learn from trial and error. So she thought to herself but no doubt kyubey heared it. " I kinda wish I had a teacher maybe then I wouldnt have frozen large areas in my first Yoma battles."

 

[Karcen]

" right now it is just finding out what they are while my servants don't die it is best to just find out what it is before putting it to use " Katja said proceeding in a mechanical way with the diagnostic check of the new magical girl not at all objecting to Yui's ideas but logic dictated caution. " afterwards you can spar with her if she wishes to do so or we can use Oberon"

 

[KageYuuki]

"I'm not sure sparring would be such a good idea, Yui." She looked at her hands, trying to piece together what her ability could possibly be. "Especially since I really don't have any idea what I'm doing just yet..." Her eyes narrowed, something felt off. Like she was missing something. But what? Finally it clicked as a light appeared in the palm of her hand. Tsubaki grasped the hilt of a sword as it appeared. The curved sword felt almost weightless in her hand. The unnatural black blade seemed to absorb the light around it. "Well, at least we're getting somewhere."

 

[Lil Shirou]

" well then about your powers . Think about how they feel in your mind. When I control water I think of the way water feels. I control it with my thoughts. When I do ice I think cold hard and shapes." Says yui.

 

[Karcen]

" It is more discovering what said power is given it is tied to your weapon try a slash" Kayja suggested there had to be more to it if the wish involved changing timelines.

 

[KageYuuki]

Tsubaki studied her blade. If she had a sword, her ability had to be centered around it, right? It only made sense that it would. "Hey, uh . . . Just to be sure, destroying something in slip space isn't going to mess it up in the real world, right?" She had a feeling it wouldn't, but it never hurt to double check.

 

[Lil Shirou]

"Anything in slip space that destroyed doesnt affect the real world. Yoma or at least powerful yoma can exit slip space at will simiar to us but they have to return." Says yui.

 

[KageYuuki]

Tsubaki nodded, that was good to know. "Alright, I won't feel so bad about accidental destruction then." She gave a few test swings, listening to the blade whistle through the air. Nothing seemed to happen. She studied the blade again for a moment. The girl couldn't shake the feeling that her power was tied to the sword, they just had to be. She narrowed her eyes in concentration, searching for some kind of hint on what to do. Her weapon glowed faintly in response. Swinging the sword again, a bright light shot off it following the arc of her swing. It cut through the air before cleaving a tree in half, right down the middle.

" hmmm, seems to fire energy that can cut at a distance. That my assumption" says yui
