" Simple you can't beat it alone, you need a team, and a big one luckily there are sevral magical girls and one that could be a magical girl that can work with you and unless you want me to lie to them they too will know about what they could gain there is just one for lack of a better term wish as a reward Kuybey said " SO are you intrested now in hearing what i want if it isn't obvious he asked.

Arashi wasn't satisfied. "You skirted around my question. What are the negatives to your proposal? You always say we never ask, but I am now. What are they?" she demanded, a cold, nearly monotonous voice leading her argument

Tsubaki quirked an eyebrow at Kyubey. "Alright, more time to relax and less time worrying about hunting monsters obviously sounds nice. But I'm not sure I like the term 'Beltane.'" She couldn't shake the feeling it was some ungodly powerful Yoma they'd have to deal with.

 

[Karcen]

" Just that you must work with others to stop during this what else would you expect I will keep the exact details for latter but when the time comes you will be told exactly what you face a hood time before you do " kuybey said shaking his head.


" it is just a term and I will tell you what it is once you need to know for now think of it as a boss with an extra wish as a reward" he said

Arashi wasn't convinced, and she was no fool either. "You can either tell me everything now, or you can forget it," she said, playing with a leaf with her wind. The less interested she appeared, the more likely he would tell her details. Otherwise, she figured it wasn't worth Kuybey's lies.

Tsubaki crossed her arms, continuing to look at Kyubey. "You and your love of mind games," She shook her head, sighing. "Fine, not like I could really say no to facing this thing anyway." Her gaze drifted out towards the city, "Do any of the other girls know about this Beltane thing yet?"

 

[Karcen]

" to put it simply I believe the numerous yoma appearing are a precursor to a larger event that can destroy the city if not the world this means that the power of hundreds of yoma will be concentrated into a Yoma tree this tree has a heart that can be used to grant another wish you just have to defeat the tree simple as that no smoke and mirrors just a threat I want dealt with that nets you one free wish no strings attached" Kuybey explained with a sigh it really was that simple.


"One other but I will tell everyone because you all need to work together to beat it you informing those I miss or don't get for s little would be of great help" he said letting that much be known.

 

[Kazehana]

"Bot so fast. I have questions," she stated, turni her attention back to him. "First, how do you know all that will happen? Second, you said we would have to defeat this tree. Is it violent? Third, are you implying that there is but one wish? We would all fight over it and you know it," she observed, satisfied to hear some of the drawbacks for herself. But it also meant she could nip potential dangers in the bud.

She sighed, "if I cross paths with anyone I'll let them know." The thought of all of them working together made sense but from what she's seen so far, it seemed very unlikely. "You have a hard sell if you think everyone's going to willingly work together just like that. But what do I know." She shrugged, turning away. "I think a shower and a wrap for my ribs is in order. If you have anything else you need to tell me, walk and talk."

 

[Karcen]

"One because it has happened before so I know the signs that say it may happen two yes very it's why no one magical girl can defeat it and three there is one wish I have no say in that if you fight you fight if you agree on a wish you do it is up to you" kuybey explained though this is why he kept things explaining it was annoying to do.


"if your hurt just think about not hurting and you won't the soul gem can stop such minor pain" he commemted.

Arashi simply did nothing for a moment, processing all that he had said. "I am not risking my life for a reward I may or may not get depending on how selfish the other magical girls are. Besides, I work alone anyway," she said matter-of-factly. Now was not the time to squabble with this wretched creature. So she simply took her leave without warning or farewell.

"Then the world will end all because you could not work with others "Kuybey said his voice in her mind they were his and they would listen to him or like any good boss he would punish them.

She kept walking, not much caring for his idle threat. "Don't care," she replied in a rather abrupt manner. To be honest, she cared a little, but what did it matter when she would most likely get nothing in return?

Tsubaki looked back to the egg shaped crystal in her hand. "Is that so?" She glanced over her should at him. "And what about for serious injuries? Those can't be too uncommon fighting Yoma." She was surprised she wasn't hurt worse than she was given the way that wolf had knocked her around.

 

[Karcen]

"Those injuries can be lessened and healed assuming it doesn't kill you instantly your body is enhanced you are able to survive what others can't " kuybey said the other him cutting off from the other girl she would come around.

 

[KageYuuki]

"Insteresting," Tsubaki mused as she looked down at the soul gem. It glowed faintly in her grasp. As soon as it subsided, the pain from her bruised ribs was practically gone. "Huh, works for me I guess." She shrugged as her outfit shifted from armor back to her normal clothing. She tucked the gem in the pouch of her hoodie. "I'm sure the others have long since wrapped up their fights."

 

[Assailant]

Max frowned a tad, but she dealt with it anyway. At least now she knew she couldn't feel anything, and Max didn't have to take it personally. "Okay, fine. I get that I won't get a hugely emotional response out of you, and I might try to get Kyubey to set up a meeting with another magical girl at some point," at this she glanced over to Kyubey, silently saying with her eyes hint hint, "but I have a question that you can answer with pure logic if you so desire. One last question before I'd like to continue. Do you regret it, or not? If you could turn back time and stop yourself from making the decision, would you?"

" My wish was granted any mistake was on my part, i could say i would go back but i would still make my wish i would simply reword it, i wished for what i wanted in a moment of emotion not what i really needed So no i do not regret it " Katja explained having sometimes thought about how she could have worded her wish better but she couldn't blame Kuybey for granting her wish as she wished for it she hadn't asked for a healthy father just that he would live and he did live . " That is the best advice i can give as well word your wish Kuybey will grant it as you want it but he like i lack real potent human emotion, though that is his kind rather than a childhood sickness" She said as a form was warning.


" If i didn't know better i woudl be insulted Katja and there are others most are rather new or are simply having regret over their poor choice in wish so really you can meet with the new girl she just finished her fight but she has left slip space so actually getting to her will be a bit more annoying" Kuybey said.

She wished her wish in a... moment of emotion? Yet she claims she can't feel such things. Intriguing. She turned to Kyubey. "A new magical girl, huh? Yeah, I'd definitely like to take you up on that offer. She might be more helpful for the question side of things. However, there is one other thing Kyubey has never truly fulfilled for me. These... Yoma, are they called? I'd like to see one. I want to know what I'm getting into before I throw my life on the line. 'Course, if these monsters are really bad and you don't want to throw yourself in front of the proverbial train for an 'intern,' like me, I'd get it."

 

[Karcen]

Katja looked to Kuybey who just nodded " It seems i will be going, besides it is my job to fight them no matter who is in trouble or what condition i am in" Katja said which was true she had to as far as her job was concerned throw herself in front of Yoma not matter what.


" Well it seems i made a mistake Tsubaki is still in slip space she just changed back, how odd" Kuybey said before heading in the direction of Tsibaki " We will have to walk and who knows thinsg are picking up we may seem a Yoma

Tsubaki had waited for Kyubey to say something. He usually didn't leave without getting the last word in. She glanced over her should at him, "Got anything else you want to add or just content to stand and stare?" She hadn't left slip space yet to be polite and let him add anything else he needed to.


Plus she needed to moved out of the middle of the street beforehand.

 

[Karcen]

" Sorry i was having another conversation i have a prospect i would like you meet soon, well they are coming here, either way she has questions and while i introduced her to Katja, aside from her being very loyal she isn't much of a sales rep and you have a fresh perspective, what do you say want to meet her?" Kuybey said making his own sales pitch to Tsubaki.

The girl gave a slight shrug. "Sure, why not." She turned, walking towards the tea shop. She'd prefer to meet someone on her terms rather than Kyubey's. "Just bring her to the tea shop, I'll be waiting there." With that, she exited slip space. Another potential recruit, huh? He's probably been pestering her for who knows how long by now.

 

[Karcen]

" Very well " Kuybey said letting them pick that at leas, he woudl still have katja with the new girl so hopefully there wouldn't be a smear campaign.
