Private for Razorstar + Syrrus

The little boy looked towards where the prince had pointed, tilting his head and causing his blond hair to fall in front of his big blue eyes. He looked back and nodded, quickly. "Perhaps it's for the best. Have a good day Daniel!" The little thing said before skipping along on the road, singing loudly to himself about birds and butterflies.

Danny watched the boy slip away, his blue eyes wide with fear. How did the child know his name? He looked around, trying to determine which way to go and picked a random direction, walking slowly and steadily. He had to find Magpie at some point, right?

The little boy suddenly stopped and peered over his shoulder at the young man, he didn't like liars much...

Magpie was frustrated. Where the heck hand that little brat gone?! And why had he left the stupid horse behind. The Thief was not going to take care of it. If that little sod had gone back to the castle he'd roast the animal himself and force the prince to eat every single piece! He then noticed something by the forest and with feet as quick as the wind, ran up to Daniel and stopped inches from his face. "How dare you leave my side like that?!"

The rush of relief Danny had felt was washed away by a wave of irritation. How dare Magpie speak to him like that. "I wanted to get to know the area. Besides, you were practically dead, and I was bored. What else was I supposed to do?" He growled, crossing his arms over his chest and challenging Magpie with his gaze.

"Dea- I'm not dead you fool! I just don't know how to handle this weird red hot stuff that keeps pumping through my body when I wake up! It's weird and I find it to be a bit gross..." Magpie looked down at himself as if he wanted to throw up a little. "Besides! You don't even know what's out here! You could have been dead."

Danny cocked his head to the side. Red hot stuff? "You mean blood?" He asked, frowning slightly. "And I might still be dead. I saw a little kid who seemed...off." He shifted on his feet, suddenly remembering the strange encounter.

"Yeah blood. Do you know how disgusting it is to feel it move around your body in the morning? Like fat worm-" Magpie stopped in his speech, like he so often did. Staring at the man in front of him. "Sorry? Little boy? What little boy?" Looking behind the prince, the Thief saw nothing, nor anyone.

"It was a boy that seemed to be about 8 years old that was wearing oversized clothing. He asked if I was lost and when I said you were nearby he left. The weird thing was that he knew my name without me telling him." Danny hugged himself, trying to force away a shiver. The boy still gave him a weird feeling.

Magpie frowned. A boy wearing oversized clothing. The thief wasn't one to just assume so instead of throwing names around he simply shrugged. "Maybe it was just a kid who knew you were the prince? Aren't you just a tad bit paranoid."

Danny frowned, his eyes narrowing. He was about as paranoid as a dog. He usually found that he was terribly naïve, paranoid didn't fit him. He just got weird feelings about weird things. "Either way, we should get going." He grumbled.

"Yes we should." Especially if the kid that Daniel met actually was someone that Magpie knew of. It was hard to tell but if it was, they'd see him again certainly. Walking down the path back to the silly horse, Magpie almost jumped three feet in the air.

The little boy was standing there, feeding Iron something that looked like gold, smiling and talking to the horse. Oh crap. Magpie knew exactly who that was. "...Damn it Highness."

Danny whistled sharply and Iron lifted his head, snorting. What a good horse. "That's the kid, Magpie." Danny breathed, stating the obvious. Judging by Magpies reaction, him being there probably wasn't a good thing. Why, for once in his life, couldn't he find someone helpful?

"Oh, not certain really. I haven't met one in person before." He had only met demons, one or two nymphs as well but never something this big. It surprised him though, he had read quite a lot of books about the God family in his old life as a scholar, the little boy looked a lot like the old paintings so perhaps it could be no other?

"I think that's the God of Creation."

Danny blinked at Magpie and back at the kid. Was he joking? That was the God of Creation? He did seem different, and that explained why. He wasn't human, but he also wasn't a demon. Danny felt himself relax a bit.

Clapping his hands excitedly at the horse the little boy threw a look towards the two travelers, smiling their way with a beaming smile. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" He was an alright little boy, Magpie assumed, but he annoyed him. Gods were too powerful to his liking and he certainly never wanted to actually meet one. "Something like that." He muttered as a response, leaning against Daniel. At least the God better know that this human belonged to Magpie.

Danny put on an easy smile. "As beautiful as a rose in bloom." He chirped, pretending that he was talking to a lord or lady. He could fake being social with the best of them. He studied Iron closely. The horse didn't seem to be acting abnormally or to be hurt. That was good sign.

The boy snickered to himself and started to walk around in a circle, clearly planning something. Magpie didn't trust him. What demon trusted a god? It was unheard of. "What do you want." He asked with a cold voice, causing the boy to flinch and look back up at them. "Nothing... Really, I just wanted to make sure the Prince got back safely..."

Danny smiled again. "I'm sure I'll be fine. If I didn't trust Magpie here to protect me, I would have already headed back to the castle." He purred, wrapping his arm around Magpie's. A part of him was bothered by the thought of the God worrying about him and making sure he got home safely. If he was going to force him to go back, this was going to end badly.

Magpie flinched, surprise that the prince suddenly wanted to become all close and cuddly, not that the bothered him much, he simply shrugged it off and placed one arm around him. "Yeah, this is my princess. Maiden, Damsel, whatever you'd like to call it."

The both of them made the little boy snicker to himself, they were too strange and he could feel some sort of frustration ooze out of Daniel. "Okay then. I suppose that has to do. Where are you going?"

Danny leaned into Magpie as he wrapped his arm around him, feeling a bit more secure, like if the God atttacked them he would be protected. He looked at him, curious where they actually were going. It was an excellent question.

"It has nothing to do with you. Piss off." Magpie responded, growling and as he growled fangs began to grow in his mouth. The little boy didn't at all seem impressed by the demons reaction to his question and with one simple hand gesture, the man Daniel was hugging up close turned into a tiny crow.

Danny squeaked in panic as Magpie was suddenly gone, the man replaced by a bird. He looked at the God. "Can you please return my companion back to his normal form? He was kind of the one leading the way." He squatted down, reaching out a hand to pet Magpie. Or, maybe his name would become crow now.

Magpie squawked angrily towards the hand which was going to pet him. How dare the prince use him as some sort of pet just because he suddenly felt like one. Glaring angrily at the little god who stifled a laugh he almost threw himself at the boys neck as soon as the God transformed him back to normal. "Why you little bastard! I'm going to ring that stupid neck of yours! Come here!!"

Magpie shouted and started to run after the boy, who continued to laugh happily as he was being chased in a circle.

Danny giggled quietly as Magpie chased the boy. He was much less angry as a bird, it seemed. He was starting to relax a bit. If the boy was going to mess with him, he probably would have already done it. He walked over and sat down next to Iron, watching the show.

After a while, Magpie unfortunately tiered and fell flat against the ground. It had taken a few hours of running but he finally couldn't stand doing it anymore. This of course, caused the boy to laugh even harder. "This is fun. I'll come with you, I think." "Hel- Hell no... yo- You don't..."
