Private for Razorstar + Syrrus

Danny only woke up when Iron nuzzled him, shocking him out of his sleep. He slowly sat up, stretching with a quiet yawn. He looked around before remembering what had happened. He rose and trotted over to the two, studying them. "We'd be happy to have you along for the ride." He chirped with a tired smile.

Magpie quickly got up, staring angrily at Daniel. "Are you serious? Please tell me you're not serious!?" Of course the God simply laughed a long and vanished in a puff of smoke. When he next reappeared he sat on top of Irons back, stroking him over the neck. "I'm not that bad when you get to know me, I promise."

Danny shrugged at Magpie. "What is the worst that could happen? He helps us out a bit?" He asked, slightly amused by Magpies frustration. "Plus, he's a god. I don't want to make him mad." He almost shuddered at the thought of what could happen. The God acted like a mere boy, so he would react like on, right?

"I don't care!" Magpie said, stomping towards them. The little Boy peering down at him with big eyes. "I don't even know what to call the bas-" " Ophidian."

Magpie stood silent for a while, peering up at the god with a twitching eyes. "Ophidian... Fine! Have it your way." The thief threw his hands in the air and started walking. He wasn't going to make the horse into a demon now. What was the point when they had a god with them?

Danny shrugged at ophidian before following Magpie. "Try to be nice to him, okay? I know he probably bugs you, but he seems sweet." Danny had to walk on his toes to whisper in Magpie's ear. Why did he have to be so tall? He put on a sweet smile, hoping to influence Magpie into at least acting like he was happy to have the God along.

He peered down at the prince and sighed heavily. "Gods aren't good things. They created everything sure, but they're here to take it all away from us soon. Just wait! This little boy is probably planning on ending the world as we know it!"

Ophidian looked down at Magpie with a tilted head. "That seems a bit dramatic, don't you think? Besides, that's my brothers job."

Danny elbowed Magpie in the side, frowning at him. Wow, rude. What was his problem? He wondered. "What's your problem?" He growled quietly, pouting. What did Magpie have against ophidian? Was he just not a fan of gods in general? Was it his personality?

Magpie frowned with annoyance and it was unfortunately up to Ophidian to respond. "He's a demon, he was made to know everything we gods though.: The little boy smiled at the prince. "He will probably like me much..."

Magpie hissed at the god. "I can talk for myself you bastard." He pointed accusingly at the boy who simply snickered and followed happily. Apparently very glad to be traveling together with some people, mortal or not.

Danny shook his head. This conversation was going no where. Magpie would just have to get over it. "So, are we heading to that town to cause some chaos?" He asked Magpie, forcing an excited smile. He wanted magpie to lighten up and relax a bit instead of being bitter and unhappy.

"No, we are going to the Dragon Valley. Now. Damn that horse." Magpie was clearly not in the mood and started to walk down the hill towards what looked like a ruin, but not a ruin of buildings but a ruins of a forest. A swamp, in fact. The god didn't at all look happy about where they were going, but said nothing. The demon seemed to be very angry indeed.

Wait, what? Danny stopped in his tracks, staring at Magpie. The protection of his favorite horse had just flown out the window. Time to bring out big guns. Danny's mouth moved into a frown and his blue eyes filled with tears. "B-but you promised!" Danny whimpered, his chest heaving with barely contained sobs. He had learned from a young age that a boy who was fairly small and innocent looking crying usually got their way.

Eye twitching worse than it had before, Magpie felt the urge to scare the young man out of his skin. He decided against it though, seeing as it hardly would be of any good. Slowly turning, as if the noise of the sobbing was driving the thief insane he pouted, curling his fingers up into fists. "Did I promise? Hmh... I don't recall promising anything... In fact I think you're making it up." Magpie was clearly annoyed, not wishing to do anything asked of him. "Besides... IF that stupid animal of youris going to die by being exactly what he is, then he's too useless to be anything else!" Roaring like a feline the man turned and continued walking, muttering curses under his breath.

Ophidian peered between the two of them, rather nervously. It seemed that the God of Creation had some trouble with raised voices and sad faces. What was going on exactly? Perhaps he had joined them during a strange time.

Danny blinked at Magpie before baring his teeth. He wasn't used to being spoken to in such a manner, and definitely wasn't used to being accused of being a liar. "How dare you speak to me like that!" He snarled, suddenly standing up straight and looking more like a prince than a young girl for once. His hands curled into angry fists and he stood perfectly still, refusing to budge another inch. He was getting sick and tired of Magpies attitude.

Magpie would stop and slowly turn around - again. He looked more annoyed now than he had done earlier. It seemed like the little prince had a backbone, after all. Good, the young man needed one, surely, if he was going to become king. "What was that?" Magpie said, walking towards him. "I didn't quite hear you?" The thief had heard him perfectly, he was just interested in knowing exactly how far he could push the boy.

Danny was positively enraged in a way he hadn't been in a long, long time. "If you were half as smart as you think you are you would know better than to speak to me like that. I am the prince and future king. I hold more power in my left hand than you could even imagine." His blue eyes were burning with anger and pride as he glared at Magpie, his jaw clenched and his entire body rigid. He was slightly tempted to take out the dagger, but no. He could use his words first. He had to. He'd definitely lose a battle with any demon.

The demon gestured with both his arms to each side of him staring him straight in the eyes. "Do you indeed? And what would happen if I killed you right now? What power do you actually hold?!" The man pulled out his two swords, crossing them over the young man's neck. "You have no power out here, prince boy." Magpie added as he started to spout a tail, a long and snow white tail, skinny and scaly looking.

Danny's face went completely blank except for the cold burning in his blue eyes. He felt something burning inside of him and he reached up and touched the blades. "You'd be amazed at how much power I hold." He said, not looking away from Magpie as ice grew on the blades in sharp icicles up towards Magpie's hands. He never so much as blinked, and he suddenly found that he could barely think. All his mind could register was a sudden blast of cold, like he had chewed on a mint leaf.

As the thief noticed the ice growing over his blades, the icicles and the frost covering it almost instantly he quickly dropped them and started to jump around, waving his blue hands around as it if would help against the cold. "Ouch! Blasted blast!!" He cursed over and over as he jumped around before he pointed towards the prince. "What sort of freak are you?!" As if Magpie had anything to say about being a freak, seeing his own race. A mortal having magic abilities just like that? Perhaps it was for the best to find that old wizard. Peering up at the god who was petting the horse, giggling down at them a if he knew exactly what was going on, Magpie had to try his hardest not to leap at him.

Danny blinked and the ice crystals melted instantly, almost like they had never been there. He cocked his head at Magpie, a hint dazed. "W-what happened?" He asked. Why did his head hurt? Why was he so cold? Why was Magpie freaking out when they had just been having an argument? He couldn't remember the last time that had happened. When he was younger he would black out and wake up feeling like this, but it had been years. He hadn't blacked out since his mother had stopped talking about magic and his little sister was born. Strange.

"Freak!" Magpie hissed, deciding to act upon his impulse instead of his logic. He knew exactly what he had to do with the boy, there was no other way. He had to find the wizard. However, that didn't mean that he couldn't torture him a bit and behave as if the biggest monster there wasn't himself put the human prince. At least Magpie was meant to be a monster, he was a monster be default but Daniel was a monster by accident. That was worse, somehow.

The thief whipped his hands off on his shirt and slowly, with great caution, picked up his two swords. "We have a change of plans. We will stop by the great waterfall in the dale. There is someone we need to speak to."

Danny turned and looked at the God, deciding that he wasn't going to get any info out of magpie at the moment. "What happened?" He repeated, frowning slightly. Magpie was freaking out for some reason, he still had some kind of brain freeze, and nothing was making sense anymore. Had he done something wrong? Had he said something?

The little god turned and looked down at the human with big blue eyes. How would he describe this? It was difficult so he decided by simply smiling and pointing. "You used magic power on him" The little boy snickered as he watched Magpie walk around in a circle, clearly trying to figure out what to do." If I didn't know better I'd believe that you were possessed by a demon."

Danny blinked at him, running over his words in his mind. Magic? That was impossible. He tried to think, to figure out some kind of logical solution, but thinking wasn't easy when someone else was freaking out. "Stop it, Magpie!" He barked at the man, baring his teeth in frustration.

Magpie instantly stopped in his track, peering over his shoulder at the younger man frowning slightly. Who was he to tell him what to do? No one, in fact but that still didn't stop the thief from being quiet when asked. He simply would pretend that he had been asked and not ordered around like a dog. Folding his arms and looking angry. The god simply sat in silence, waiting. He didn't wish to make this either easier or more hard on the human boy, he decided to simply be there and answer questions, would it be needed.

Danny stared at his hands for a moment, shaking his head slightly. It wasn't possible. They had to be mistaken. He was a human who, up until yesterday, thought magic was a story told to children. How could he have done magic? He frowned before starting to walk in the direction they had been heading, completely zoned out on the idea of him doing magic.
