So I know I've was talking sit about the "Lati's Nest" a while back and I didn't want everyone to think it was a home for one. No, this place was a sanctuary for many Lati families and other Pokemon as well. 





@Daisie help me make this photo of what the Nest looks like. So be sure to give her some applause. 


If if you look around in the tree you can see many "houses." In not going into much detail with those for they are pretty self explanatory. On the other side of the river there are some berry bushes. That was the berry garden. Once again, self explanatory.


in the middle of the river you can see some pillars with orbs on top. Those are very special to the Lati. Any guesses to what they are.

If you guessed soul dews, your right. Each one is a difference color for a reason and te center one is the most important.

So before I end up falling asleep here in my bed I just wanted to say "Horray." And important plot time has been revealed. If anyone looked at Latios's character sheet closely the item spot said secret. Well now we know, it's his mothers Soul Dew. Yes there's a reason he carries it and yes it has some significance to the story. But hey, more secrets ahead, can't reveal them all.

I still don't know what a Soul Dew is.

A Soul Dew is a spherical jewel that is created when a Lati dies in a special way. This mostly happens when the Lati gives their live for a greater cause, aka sacrifice. The Soul Dew holds the "being" of the one who died. You could say in a sense that they live on inside the jewel. The Soul Dew rangers in size, shape, and color. Not to mention they glow. In order to preserve a Soul Dew, it must be kept in water. Other wise the color darkens and it will shatter. They can only be for 3 days without water.


The Soul Dew grants those who touch it with wisdom from the one inside. Mainly shown in memories/visions. It can also give a Lati who wields it unspeakable power in battle. Though useing it's power will diminish its strength and may shatter because of it. If it is used it can be restored by letting is rest in water. The soul dew can also affect the surrounding area with its power. Keeping the wildlife around it in prefect harmony, though in order to do this it must be constantly bathed in water. Otherwise it wise diminishe its power quickly. Normally when a soul dew is used for this it's kept at a special alter.

Most of what I've said is all the info I've scrounged up over the years of watching Pokemon movies and the games. The rest is just filler that was needed for important components. For the most information about soul Dews you should watch the "Pokémon: Heroes" movie. Other wise the rest came from the Pokemon event for Pokemon Emerald and my imagination.
