Here's my theory on Aura in the Pokemon universe.


arua is simply life energy the resides around all beings (Hey, this isn't start wars, we're not talking about the force. Shut up, this is my theory).


All Pokemon can use arua, though how just depends on what Pokemon they are. Aura is what generates their moves like Flamethrowers and Focus Punch. Each Pokemon can access certain aspects of aura. For say a Mudkip can use certain parts of Auta to use water gun. (Where else would they generate unlimited water). Some Pokemon can go further with aura like Lucario. Some legendaries can use it better as well, this is what allows them to use aura sphere too. 


Even select human can learn to use it. But such an thing is rare. My proff for humans is from the "Mystery of Mew" movie.

I agree that it's basically the Force. However, I don't generally like to trust the anime with lore. I think that a human COULD use aura, but it's either basically a mutation, or you've gotta be spiritually enlightened in some way.

I'm going with spirituality refined. Other wise there would be no aura for max to sence around humans.

No, I think Aura exists in everyone. Everyone exudes and bends it. Only spiritually enlightened humans can harness it and sense it though.

My point being that if aura in humans was a mutation then there would be no aura in any humans except for a few. But yes I agree with you on that. 


Though I do make a convincing point on that all Pokemon can use aura. And that certain feild sod aura are what generate thier moves. That's going to be my idea until someone comes along and tells my where esle the energy from a hyper beam comes from.

Hmm... Fair enough, I can buy that. Though only certain Pokemon can see it in it's raw, unconcentrated form. Lucario, for example.

That's what I said at the end of the paragraph. Pokemon like Lucario can weild it better than most Pokemon. There are other Pokemon that can see aura. But it's mostly because that's the only way they see. I want to say Deoxys but they said in the movie that it was Electromagnetism. I know there was a Pokemon the saw only outlines of people. Once again I want to say Genesect but I can't be to sure.
