Lauren at first didn't see Rikuto but noticed him after he spoke "No not at all I much prefer music I can listen to without having to shout over it" she said as she plugged her ears to somewhat mute the sound. She thought is was a mistake in hearing when he asked for her to join in food and threw he sandwich in her hand away in the bush behind her to hide the fact she had food "I'd love too" she said as graceful as possible hair getting in her face as the wind blew it to the side and she repositioned it behind her head. "Lead the way because if you didn't know I don't visit you on a daily basis" she said in her usual tone. @CactusWren

"Uh, sure?" Rikuto rose an eyebrow. "I was just grabbing some syrup from the convenience store that's like from a block away. I'm making some pancakes with my cute roommate Mari~" He smirked at this. "What else should we bring for breakfast? Chocolate milk? I like chocolate milk. You lactose intolerant?"

Lauren had tensed at the word cute roommate "she sounds super nice" she managed to speak while inwardly screaming and clenched her fist. She then responded to the other question "No I'm not, I usually don't drink milk but I can drink it so you don't go through the trouble of making something else" she knew it was impolite to just all out ask for something different when they had offered something else "shall we go then." she said trying to speak over the music. @CactusWren

"Oh, we could get berry juice if you want," Rikuto said assuringly. "Let's go."


After the two made it to the convenience store, the Lucario made led the way back to the dorm.


"Mari, I'm hooooome!" Rikuto called out, holding the bags off groceries in the air. "I got some delicious chocolate milk, berry juice and of course SYRUP!" He paraded it over to the kitchen. "Oh, I also brought a friend back with me. You know her; we hung out last night. NOW ON TO THE PANCAKES!" He resumed his position as the pancake chef in the kitchen.

Mari turned and looked at the girl "Oh hey! Lauren right? You're Rikuto's girlfriend if i'm correct" She said smiling at the girl. There were many different things on her mind but currently she was focused on the girl. She seems like a girl who would be good for Rikuto, maybe this is his opportunity She thought to herself still smiling.

"PFFFFFT, no.¨ Rikuto laughed at this. "Absolutely not. She already made it clear she was way too good for me the night we met."


He flipped some pancakes onto a platter. "This is for whoever wants it!"

"N-no I don't know where you heard that b-but there was no indication" her face became red from being put on the spot "I don't really make the greatest impressions on most people" she said under her breath he had nearly dropped the bag she was holding and set it on the table. She took a whiff of the air it smelled of batter with a few sweet smelling spices that she did not expect but enjoyed somewhat. "I see you enjoy cooking I dabble in it as well but nothing too fancy" she said as she sat at the table and made herself comfortable dusting off her skirt.

Mari sighed an backed up some. "You two could be a good couple though due to your differences" She said quietly. She felt that these two interested her more than she had first believed. They seemed to be almost a couple at the moment, especially the way Lauren had blushed when she brought it up.

"Oh?" Rikuto nodded at Lauren. "That's nice. You should come by and make us dinner sometime."


He then gave Mari an unamused look. "Nah, it's cool, babycakes. I assure you she doesn't interest me that way in the sightest." He handed Mariyan the first plate. "Thanks for covering for me, by the way. Here's your breakfast."

Mari blushed lightly, Her new nick-name was still adapting to her as she hadn't become 100% used to it, "I found out why they put guys and girls in the same dorm together" She said remembering a talk she had with a teacher before. The question was definitely a test of her mind so she had to think a long time about it, why hadn't these two gotten together though. They were so compatible that they were almost meant for one another.

"Did you? Why is that?" Rikuto motioned to the side, as if he wanted Mari to eat on the counter beside him as he fixed a batch of pancakes for Lauren. "Does the school want eggs from us, and the dorms are essentially the school's version of a Pokemon Daycare?" He shuddered. "I've been in a Pokemon Daycare before. That in of itself is one huge NOPE."

Mari thought his comment was rather strange. "N-not exactly but I... nevermind" She said before shaking her head. "The reason is so we develop skills of normality with the opposite sex and. It's also to represent more of a challenging environment" She said smiling. Her blush had grown a bit brighter but it sort of matched her skin tone.

"I would love too I'll find a good recipe" She watched the two interact with each other she clenched her fist and wondered why she was here, why she was going for the unattainable. She felt awkward and sick watching it and wished she had denied his request "I'm shure you are correct it is to replicate life cruel and unfair with it's complications" she said without flinching. Her brain screamed at her to leave but she should at least eat first it was only fair to comply to that.

"A challenging environment, huh?" Rikuto mused over Mari's insight and shrugged. "Good enough for me, I guess. Just as long as I have the opportunity to be surrounded by cute girls, I'm cool with that." He finished up the pancakes for Lauren and winked at the misdrevious as he set her platter down. "There you go. Help yourself to the berry juice, too, hot cakes." He seemed pleased with himself, having come up with the less than creative nicknames.


 
Rikuto seemed somewhat startled to hear Lauren's statement. He tilted his head. "Umm... What do you mean by that? Mind rephrasing it?" He knocked against his head with his knuckles. "I'm a bit on the dumb side."

Lauren took a bite of the hot cake and it tasted just like it smelt "We must deal with what life throws at us no matter how painful it may be" she took another bite and then continued to speak "to room with someone teaches us these hardships of life" she said in a low voice. "But it is a constant act of Psychology blending together personalities" she took one more bite of her delicious pancake and looked up with a smile "but that's just a guess." She continued to eat until she had finished her pancake "this was absolutely delicious Rikuto" she said cheerfully.

After about Three minutes the band stopped playing and Megan ran up to Jack and giving him a hug "Awwwww did my little sister miss me?" Megan nodded as Jack lifted her up in the air still hugging her. He soon dropped her back onto her feet as Megan said "What are you doing here?" Jack smiled "Well to see you everyday silly! I'm going live in a nice house not to far from here and yes it's only going to be me living in it since the crew got their own homes." Megan was happy "I want to show you my dorm room!" She said as she pulled Jack into the building. Apparently a lot of students there wanted an autograph from the main singer of The Phantom Dragon. Jack always knew he was famous but he certainly was surprised by all the fans "Sorry kiddos! Not today, but maybe at our next concert!" Megan then arrived at her dorm and showed Jack around.

"But life with Mari isn't hard," Rikuto said assuringly. "It's actually a lot of fun! Like last night, remember?" He grinned down at Lauren. "You're a lot of fun, too. Thanks for chilling with me yesterday. And for having breakfast with us!" He nodded. "I need to make some pancakes too. Hold on a mo." He hurried back in the kitchen.

Wednesday watched the siblings in amusement before turning to the band. "Pack it up, people! You heard the man! Move it, move it!" She wheeled her drum set away.

Sean walked out into the schoolyard and started to wander. The band was definitely interesting and seemed to be a motivation for Megan's idol motivation. Luckily for him he wasn't in the dorm so he wouldn't have to get murdered by her brother just yet.... though he would be in due time since he had seen her in those times where she was least clothed. His nose was about to bleed when he looked at something else, there was what seemed to be a gem on the ground so he went and picked it up.

Lauren watched him go into the kitchen which left her to speak to Mari she smiled at the girl half heartedly as if she felt bad in some way and under her breath she spoke to her "he is a nice boy, I know you have feelings for him" she looked down at her empty plate "if you want me out of your hair I need to be told" she knew she wasn't going to play the game of catch up to be as great as her. "But I wont do it until you say so" she wanted answers not riddles she needed to know. @ScaraByte

Mari moved closer to Lauren "I have feelings of friendship and I like to flirt, besides you have feelings for him" She said smiling at her. "Plus i'm in the process of healing from a break-up so i'm not prepared for a relationship." She said with a light giggle, it was true she didn't have the preparation in her heart for another heart-break just yet but maybe in the future she would. But her first priority was getting these two together since they had feelings for one another as it seemed. Besides even if she had feelings for this boy, She cared more about others emotion more than her own since she's the Tender Pokemon.

" ok" Des said by this time she had stopped looking for her sister having made a quick call and found that her sister would be off for awhile.


" looks like it is just us for now Sil moved for a little it seems" She said as she went into the bathroom and second latter the shower started as she got in.

"Moved for a little? I'm sure she'll return very soon," Psychi told Desdemona, tying his hair up without any strain. "But that's a relief, isn't it? She's alright."


When Desdemona came out of the shower, Psychi was on the couch grading some homework, stupidly concentrated on it.

Rikuto returned with a stack of pancakes for himself. "You two aren't talking about me, are you~?" He asked the girls teasingly, not knowing how close he was to being right. He chuckled and started eating his breakfast. "Did you two want to do something tonight again?"

Mari smirked "I was suggesting that you and Lauren hook up... you're compatible so it makes sense" She said with a smile. I wonder who that will embarrass more and if they'll find love with one another sooner or later She thought to herself looking from one of them to the other. Her emotions were stabilizing but she started to feel a vibe from Lauren suggesting something, Lauren obviously had a crush on him so why not admit it and be over and done with it. Mari looked at the ceiling for a moment, "You know Rikuto, A girl's heart is a strange thing that men don't know well. I think she has a crush on you but! If she doesn't then she has another feeling for you" She said before taking a breath. "You probably knew that but still" She said before putting the plate her food was on in the sink.

Surprisingly, Rikuto's face was absolutely cool, devoid of any embarrassment. He shrugged and went to devouring his pancakes. "I think you're very wrong. Compatibility has the be the very last thing the two of us have. Lauren told from day one that my flirting was creepy. A girl I can't be playful around... I wouldn't be happy. It's just an aspect of my personality. I wasn't lying when I told her that that turned me off." He nodded up at Lauren. "So I'm not hanging out with you to hook up with you, I promise. It's because you're really fun to hang out with as a friend. You too!" He looked at Mari.
