Fandom Poke`mon Redwood: A Collaborative Adventure

"Uhh... Dad forgot to give her a poke`ball to put Dopey in...." Tobias lied, but it was a more believable lie. He didn't want Damian to know he was planning to steal equipment from his dad when he had plenty enough money to buy poke`balls from the poke`mart, even if that was all he was taking.
"You're not going to tell my dad are you?"

"Tobi, you could've just said something" Damian replied still as stern as before, "I won't tell your dad, if you come with me and Moonlight"

Damian still didn't believe Tobi, but he knew for a fact that he wasn't the poke thief seeing as he had been with the group the whole time. Damian decided he was gonna tell them both the truth.

"So? You coming?"

Damian_Trainer_Card_2.png

As Damian led them to the Poke-ball registry machine, he looked at his egg and sighed.

"I probably should've told you guys this earlier" Damian said as he looked from his egg to the others,

"Someone stole the starters and replaced them with poison type Pokemon, that's why we have to stay here, and it's also why I was so adamant that you come with us Tobi. If someone saw you sneaking into the equipment room to steal a Poke-ball for Moonlight, they may have mistaken you for the culprit"

Damian took his bag off of his shoulder and stopped for a second, then he two Poke-balls out of his bag and handed them to Tobi, and then did the same for Moonlight.

"Here, I had six Poke-balls left over from my first go at being a trainer. That's two for me, and two for each of you guys. I'm taking you to get them registered to your Trainer Cards now"

Damian closed his bag, slung it back over his shoulder, and began walking once more.

"Tobi and I are going to want to save one for when our eggs hatch, and you need to use one for your Slowpoke Moonlight, which will leave us each with one to use for whatever we want"

Damian then stopped talking, letting the children soak in this new info.

Tobias couldn't help but feel a little guilty about trying to get a head start on them now that Damian was being so generous. He stayed quiet as he followed Damian to the registry.

I smiled when he handed me poke-balls. I cant wait to go get Pokemon and find my brother. I look down at dopey and kneel down to him petting his head.

"OK little one time to get in the ball..ill let u back out soon so u can meet mom and dad"

I look at the ball and frown thinking * i don't know how to open it i don't wanna look retarded...well more retarded..i think they think in dumb..i am not tho i need to prove it*

I put the ball away and whisper to dopey "ill do it later i don't know how to open it and i don't wanna look more retarded.." I pat his head a little and stood back up gently petting the joltik thinking * i think i am going to ask to keep u*

Damian was surprised that neither of them had any questions about the robbery, but then again, he didn't really have any answers to give anyway. Damian opened the doors to the registry room and led the kids over to the machine. He took each of their Poke-balls and registered then to their trainer ID's, then gave them back.

"There you are" Damian announced triumphantly, "You now have two Poke-balls registered to your trainer ID's, now whenever you decide to catch a Pokemon with these they will automatically register that Pokemon as yours. Since Moonlight has a Pokemon right now why don't I give you guys a quick rundown on how to properly use a Poke-ball?"

Damian paused to await their answer, remembering all too well then GASTLY experience he had on his first journey, with the old man who forced him to sit through an hour long Pokemon battle just to show him something that his parents had already taught him. Damian shuddered at the memory.

"No thanks." Tobi said, walking not only out of the room, but briskly walking to the auditorium of people to lose them. It's not that he didn't like them, it's that he wanted to be out of there as soon as the doors opened.

"uh.. no I am good I can ask my mom and dad for the help I don't wanna be a bother" Tobi walked away and i stand there awkwardly looking at chad. He smiled at me and pat my head i smiled at him then looked at Damian. i then sit down and hug my slowpoke and put the now sleeping jotik in my bag open so he can breath.

Damian_Trainer_Card_2.png

"Hey!" Damian shouted as Tobi ran out the door.

Damian started after him but stopped when he opened the door and he was nowhere to be seen.

"Tobi you little shit..." grumbled Damian as he turned back to Moonlight.

"Well if you're sure you don't want me to show you" Damian said, "then I suppose we should head back to where the Professor's gonna meet us"

Damian opened the door and led Moonlight back to the "Emergency Room"

"...I'm sorry Professor, but I can't," Rosie looked down and hung her head, the evidence clearly stacked against her Mother, "If it truly is my mother, I need to see it with my own two eyes."

Rosie didn't like defying an adult.

And insisting an adult do something made her stomach churn.

But she needed this.

When he brought up getting a Pokemon, she shook her head vehemently, slightly frowning.

"I'd say this is beyond getting a Pokemon if my mother is involved. You gave me money, I could walk out of here right now and just catch something wild around here, Sir. I want to either scold my Mother for doing this or clear her name. That's my Mother, Professor. There is no way I'm not seeing this through to the end!" Rosie demanded, adding, much more meekly, "I'll be quiet and not get in anyone's way... Please..."

Redwood stopped for a moment and stared surprised at Rosie as the officer waited to see what he would say. "Well Rosie sometimes you don't get what you want. If you think there's even a chance it isn't your mother based on what the officer said, then I'd personally take that as either childish thinking or an insult to our police force here. What's between you and your mother is between you and your mother and I have no interest in causing her to think I've turned you against her, so as far as that goes you can figure it out. You're an adult now after all, and as far as your first poke`mon goes, if you don't want to wait for me to take care of the mistake that's your decision. You can either wait in the auditorium for the doors to open or wait in the lab room with the others who were with us when this happened."
Redwood knew he wasn't being very thoughtful or kind, and he even felt a little bad about handling it this way secretly, but to him it seemed crucial that she learn this lesson now so she doesn't end up in some delusional fantasy like her mother.
"If you decide to catch your own instead, at least take this nidoran. She's about the right level and is better than nothing."
The professor paused and waited for her decision before leading the officer to his security room.

Rosies%20Trainer%20Card%20real.png

Rosie tried her hardest to hold back an exasperated sigh and not to give the professor a look as, though she appreciated the offer, her words seemed to go over his head and he clearly misunderstood why she brought up the ability to catch her own in the wild.

She wasn't wanting to hinder him or intervene because she wanted to get her Pokemon faster...

She wanted to tag along with him to see with her own two eyes the footage.

She knew Rosa hated Redwood now, that much was crystal clear, but how could she drag Rosie into it to the point of replacing the starters with the type that sparked her phobia?!

That would be cruel for a bully with no relation to do, so for a mother to do that...

It mattered little, she decided in the end: He made a fair enough point that if she did go with him to see the film it would seem as if he was turning Rosie against her...

Though, honestly, at this point, Rosie was biased towards neither of them. For several reasons on both their parts.

She looked to the side for a moment, resisting the urge to massage her temples and gently (if not sadly) shook her head and cordially waved her hand dismissively, rejecting his offer.

She had little choice: If she hadn't she would be sending the clear message that she was only bothering everyone now just to rush this along for a Pokemon, which was the last thing on her mind right now, as she was more focused on why her mother was stopping her from becoming a trainer.

"No, thank you, Professor," Rosie mumbled, hurt but trying to be understanding of the situation through his perspective, though she didn't truly feel he was doing her that same courtesy, "I'll wait patiently for you to deal with this issue, then, and head back with the others in the lab."

With a hung head and a face near tears (which didn't help how pathetic she already looked covered in Ekans drool) she made her way back where the assistant and Blondie were.

...This was just the best day.

It had been a few minutes since Damian and Moonlight arrived back at the "Emergency Room" and Damian had begun to get bored. He had sat down as soon as they had entered and put his egg in his lap, but he had already examined it over a dozen times. He decided to pass the time by throwing up his hood and playing with the drawstrings.

He grabbed his hood by the sides and flicked his wrists upwards tp fling the hood up over his head. As he did that however, he felt something solid collide with the back of his head.

"Ow what the fffffffff-" Damian began as he then remembered the young lady in the room. "fffffffffffffffff- *ahem* Feebas. Feebas, is the word I was, um..." Damian trailed off as he reached into his hood and found the goggles he had misplaced this morning.

"AHA!!!" Damian shouted in triumph as he placed them in the seat of honor on his forehead beneath his messy hair, "I thought I lost these babies"

A grin spread over Damian's face as he looked over at Moonlight, then at the door as it opened, and Rosie came walking through.

"Hey there" Damian began, "How goes the investigation?" he asked as he waved her over and patted the ground in between him and Moonlight.

I looked at Damien confused at what he said.I know he was going to use the F-word. I sit down and pet dopey lovingly scratching his tummy with him having a huge grin on his face I smiled down at him. *cant wait to show you to my parents little guy*"How come u didn't say fuck Mr. Damien.? I have heard father say it a lot "

Rosies%20Trainer%20Card%20real.png

Though Rosie was still hurt by everything going on, she smiled genuinely at Damian's offer, pleased at least one adult today was showing her some kindness, and planted herself right next to the two.

"Wh-whoa, heh, uhm..." Rosie fumbled and flinched instead of answering his question at first, glad the blonde girl had spoke up before she really could, and held back a giggle or two at Moonlight suddenly dropping the "F" bomb seemingly out of the blue, but she assumed it was prior conversation before she arrived.

Hm... Didn't Redwood also leave them with this son? Why was it just his assistant and Moonlight? She knew a lot of people had left already, but...

Oh dear... If her mother had taken all the original pokeballs before Redwood had passed them out to the trainers... Does that mean that Emily and Elmer also got differing pokemon than they thought?

Mmm, Rosie supposed that was also none of her business either... If anything, those two would be back here any minute or so were that the case.

She sort of gave Damian a bashful "I'll tell you later" look as Moonlight finished asking her question to him, but the truth of the matter is she was embarrassed and hurt by her mothers actions... and she couldn't bear to share that with even anyone she trusted, let alone a complete stranger.

She took a deep breath, trying not to remind herself just how much Murphy's law was taken into affect today... If anything, simply not to jinx this day to get any worse and not to burst into tears in front of two people she just met today.

She wondered if most trainers first days were like this: Moonlight got a Slowpoke that she almost killed and Rosie was pretty sure there was a reason Damian was here at his age...

The small brunette would-be trainer was almost tempted to ask him why he was here to begin with and what his real first day was like, but she gathered that was a rather personal question to ask. Being a firm believer in the golden rule and knowing she, herself, would not wish a stranger to ask intrusive questions about her to her, Rosie firmly decided against asking him anything.

She felt heavy, like an anvil weighing down from the pit of her stomach, and tried to keep her breathing steady to calm down.

Surprisingly to herself, she was half-smiling, but mostly because she thought it was sweet how nice these two were and how affectionate Moonlight was being with her Slowpoke.

She wanted that as well, but she sensed she was going to go through a lot more than most to get it... She already was, given what happened earlier...

The professor did his best to hurry his portion of the process along, knowing not only that the new trainers he left in the lab room were waiting for him, but the other new trainers he had given poke`mon would likely be back into the building to complain as soon as they could. He decided that he would direct an aid to keep the new trainers at bay while he saw what he could do about getting the starters back.
As he walked down to the station with the head officer, he was directed to sit quietly in a waiting room. He never was one for waiting, it always made him uneasy. I should have kept them in a locked case... No it's not your fault Finbar, There's only ever been one other reported incident of something like this and it was way over in the Jhoto region.
It took a few hours before an officer came back to get him.
"Unfortunately Professor, we can't get her to reveal what happened to the poke`mon. We've tried everything we can this early in the process and I'm afraid it doesn't look hopeful, but you can expect a summons in the next few days to speak in court and after everything is settled I'm confident we'll at least be able to get the damages covered financially."
Redwood couldn't stop himself from giving the officer a sharp look.
"Financially, are you insane? That's not going to give those children their poke`mon back today and it sure as hell isn't going to repair any of the damage she's caused to their spirit as an aspiring trainer! You need to let me speak to her now."
The officer was taken aback by his sudden hostility.
"Sir, you know we can't do that. Regulations state she has to finish being processed before she can take visitors, and visiting hours won't be available for at least until morning giving the time of the arrest."
"Look officer, I don't want to make your job any harder but if I can't approve of myself neglecting to do everything I can. I really didn't want to have to play this card, but if you don't give me at least one minute with that woman I'm afraid you'll have to be the one to explain to your superiors why the Growlithe unit donations have stopped."
Redwood didn't really think it was a good idea to threaten the police, but he really didn't have anything but bad ideas left at this point.
"Alright sir, I can't make any promises but I'll talk to my commanding officer and see if we can get you a minute."
With that the officer left the room, and a few minutes later the lead investigator came out.
"You better know what you're doing Redwood. If you end up hampering this investigation in any way, I won't hesitate to bring you up on obstruction charges."
With a the firm warning given, the lead investigator walked redwood back to her holding cell, where Rosa sat in an orange jumpsuit.
"Great, just what I need." she stated unhappily.
"Rosa do you have any idea what you've done? Why on earth would you do something so stupid!? You had to have known I'd have a security system."
Rosa refused to reply, and her mood shifted with the question.
"Wait... you didn't think I had a security system? Do you really think that little of me? C'mon, I know you hold a grudge because of your husband but you can't be-"
"I don't have to speak without my lawyer present, I know my rights, I don't even think you're qualified to interrogate me anyway 'Professor'."
Redwood let out an exasperated sigh.
"Fine, don't talk just listen. I don't know what you were thinking or where you got them, but some of those poison poke`mon were much to high a level for a novice trainer and they could have gotten seriously hurt. Your own daughter had her head swallowed by the ekans she chose and I had to pull it off of her myself. Whatever your reasons, I hope that you're happy with yourself."
Realizing he was getting nowhere, Professor Redwood apologized to the officer and left, flying back to the lab.

Meanwhile back at the lab, one of the assistants, who we shall call Gregory, was asked to help deal with the situation. Now that the police and the professor had a suspect, he was fairly sure that the professor would prefer he alleviate the lock-down, and decided to do just that. Gregory made sure to speak to the various aids around the auditorium, being sure to reinforce the importance of apologizing for the inconvenience and doing their best to make sure that each new trainer, and any accompanying friends or family left without knowing just what was going on, and without plans to lodge a complaint with the board of professors.
Once everything had calmed down Gregory instructed the others to clean up, and as he did his cellphone rang.
"Hello, oh goodness, Mrs. Chandra!" he exclaimed quietly as he ducked into an unused room.
"Yes, yes everything went fine as far as I can tell. Well it's hard to say, but Redwood was definitely upset, I think one of the other kids got traumatized or something. Oh yeah? Well that's good to hear then I suppose. So... is that a yes for dinner this Tuesday? Oh... oh I see... no, I understand. I can get the bail money together if that's the only issue. Oh you would? Oh great then, I'll be over tomarr- oh. Oh yes sorry of course, well tonight it- oh... alright then..." It wouldn't be hard to discern by the look on his face when he turned that that she'd cut him off.
In fact that was one of the many interesting thoughts going through their heads as Elmer and Emily stood inside the doorway, holding their poke`balls and looking quite confused. Until that is, Emily began to smirk, pushing Elmer into the room and shutting the door behind her.
"You know doctor, one might think you were up to something in here all by yourself... did you say something about... bail money?" she wiggled her poke`ball side to side as she approached him.
"Perhaps there's something we can do to help each other out, seeing as you wouldn't want this to... become a problem would you?"

Redwood landed again in front of the lab, shaking his head again in disbelief. As he opened the lab door Elmer and Emily ran by. "Wait kids, you should hold on, there's been a mixup!" he shouted to them.

"Don't worry Professor, Gregory took care of us already, thanks though." Elmer called back in response.
"Oh, alright then." as he turned Tobi stood in the doorway looking at him.
"Dad..."
Fin looked at Tobi, trying to mask the stress he was feeling, although poorly.
"It's alright Tobi, I promise only the balls were tampered with. She wouldn't have had time to alter the eggs. Let me just take care of this and If you wan't to talk we can do so in my office afterword okay?"
as he started walking away Tobi grabbed his coat.
"But da-"
"Tobias Darcy Redwood! I know you're eager to start your journey, but I must deal with this now, please try to understand, the gyms, contest houses, and wild poke`mon aren't going anywhere. I'll see you in my office."
Damn it dad this was important! Tobi let go of his lab coat and turned away, running off to try to catch up with the others. If his father wasn't going to listen then he would just have to take care of it himself.

Redwood made his way to Gregory through the lab, and was assured that everything went as well as it could have. After thanking him he walked briskly to the daycare portion of the facility and began browsing through his storage unit, looking for any and all poke`mon of the appropriate level, when he noticed an opened box on his office chair. "How could I be so stupid!" he palmed his forehead in excitement and he began mulling through the box, finding blank poke`balls. "How could I forget that some trainers don't pass the exam."

With a change in attitude he withdrew a few appropriately IVed and Leveled poke`mon from his box and Released them, capturing them again in unregistered balls and placing them in the box with the others and marching to the room where he left the new trainers.
"Rosie, you're in luck. It seems we recovered some of the starters!" he lied, hoping not only that the new trainers would worry less about the situation, but perhaps forget about it entirely.
"Now we didn't get all of them, so in addition to the three bulbasaur, one totodile, and one popplio that we have left, you also have the option of choosing between another poke`mon. If you want I can tell you what they are, you can make it a surprise, or you can just choose the popplio you wanted, or one of the other starters I mentioned. It's up to you, but I promise they are all the appropriate level of 5, they will obey you, they are fairly bred or captured, and most importantly no ekans, since the last one gave you such a scare. What do you say?"
He looked on at her in anticipation, hopeful that she could still have a great first day as a trainer.

Rosie was a bit stunned at Professor Redwoods entrance, and seemingly new attitude...! Had this meant things had gone well with her Mother... or worse for her...?

She knew after this she'd have to ask... Though the omens of today and lurching stomach told her she really, really didn't want to.

She was sort of gaping for a moment without noticing she was doing so, then she snapped herself out of it as quickly as she could. Despite the shake, she still looked like a Deerling caught in headlights.

"I-I... I-If I still can, I'd like a P-popplio... I-if that's alright..." She muttered, nodding and looking back at the Professor unsure and uncertain for several reasons, clearly holding back her questions regarding her Mother.

She cleared her throat and stepped closer to him to receive her companion, and though she was grateful for still being able to have her top choice, She had hoped though her mother could not share this moment with her that at least she could be here for her after it...

But that was a childish fantasy she was supposed to exterminate on this journey, wasn't she?

Redwood wasn't sure how to respond, as the girl still seemed somewhat upset. He could tell though that she did indeed have her heart set on the popplio, so he took the ball from the box, set the box on the table near by, and registered her new popplio to her trainer ID.
"There you are Rosie, one popplio. He's a male, ironic considering our prior conversation, and his moves are pound, watergun, and growl. The water gun should come in quite handy, pokemon recieve a power boost to their attributed moves. His ability is Torrent, so if he's running ragged he'll get an additional boost to his water type moves. If you ever find yourself out of items and he's not looking too sharp, keep that in mind. It could get you out of some nasty situations." Redwood then let out an audible sigh of relief and scratched his head. "That's it, I'm sorry it couldn't have been a cheerier day, but i hope it was still a special one. Oh, and if you talk to Gregory on the way out he can give you each a free luxury ball for the trouble you've caused." Redwood leaned over to the intercom on the doorway and pressed a button.
"Gregory, I need you to get into my ball cupboard and take out three luxury balls, then stand outside the main exit. If Damian and two girls approach you asking for one its for them, if they don't come to you in the next few hours go ahead and put them back. Thank you Gregory."
With a smile he then turned and gestured to the new trainers, showing them out the door. As he got there, gregory was already ready for them.
"That was fast... here you go everyone, have a safe journey!"

Damian_Trainer_Card_2.png

"Record time Gregory" Damian said, his upbeat attitude masking his suspicion.

Damian examined the Luxury Ball for a moment feeling the weight in his hand. Then, feeling his heart race from the nostalgia of his youth, attempted to release what may be lurking inside.

Nothing.

"Whew" Damian sighed, "Thank goodness"

Damian turned to everyone else and continued,

"Sorry about that. With all that's happened I figured better safe than sorry"

Damian then pocketed the ball.

"C'mon girls lets register these to our Id's"

Damian then looked at Redwood.

"Hey Finn, you should come too"

Damian held a look at Redwood meant to convey that he had something to talk to him about, something important. Then he turned, and began to blaze the trail back to the registry.

I was very excited to finally be ready to go home with Dopey, and I pet him on the head, dragging him slowly as I follow Damian and Rosie. "Boy you're big... You're like a little, bitty, wet, pink, snorlax." Chad laughed at my joke. "The professor looks like a snorlax too." I giggle a little and hear that we get something called a Luxury Ball, and that we have to register it. I awkwardly reach up with one hand to take the luxury ball, almost falling as Dopey's weight pressures the arm I'm holding him with, then I turn around, grunting as I pivot an drag my baby back the way we came so I can do whatever I'm supposed to do to the ball, even though it looks like it probably works to me. "This ball is black and shiny, do you want to live in here Dopey?"

Redwood looked down the hallway in the direction of his office, expecting that his son was probably waiting for him already, but could tell that whatever Damian was saying was probably important. Over his time working as an intern, Damian had given Redwood many looks, and partial sounds that he learned to pick up on. Like that time a client's piloswine was threatening to charge Damian and he needed assistance... although that may not be the best example, but times like that where redwood didn't pick up on his non-verbal cues did eventually teach him when something was important, and this seemed to be one of those times.
"Very well, right this way. there is actually a PC right here in the reception office that you guys can use to register them as well as view their summaries. if any of you ever find yourselves in the lab again for one reason or another, please feel free to use any PC that is facing your side of the desk, just as you would in a poke`mon center." He watched as Damian registered the luxury balls for each of them, and smiled as he watched the... troubled girl attempting to mother her poke`mon.
"You know, he should be quite comfortable in there. They call them Luxury balls because the internal system that houses the poke`mon is designed for a more posh experience for those inside. It's been proven through various studies that your poke`mon grow to love you even faster when they're in a luxury ball, but they cost about Six times the amount of a standard pokeball."
As he began to open his mouth to speak further in lecture, he saw again that Damian was giving him a hinting look.
"Excuse us for a moment please girls, I think Damian has some last minute questions regarding his graduation."

Damian stepped aside with Redwood to have his conversation.

"What's going on Finn?" Damian said in a hushed voice, "when Rosie came back she looked distraught"

Damian looked around and then looked back at Redwood.

"Speaking of you know when her mother catches wind of this she's going to try and use it to shut you down"

Damian's face was a mixture of worry and exasperation as he looked around the room once more. It was then he noticed the same look on the faces of everyone else in the room.

Damian's serious demeanor disappeared as he replaced it with a smirk.

"Though as far as setbacks on an adventure," Damian began, "I've certainly faced worse"

Damian's smirk then became a smile as he tapped his forehead.

"I even found my goggles!" He laughed, trying to alleviate some of the tension that had been persisting through the day.

Redwood sighed with a mixture of relief and frustration, which would have sounded strange if not for his existing awareness of a need to "keep cool".
"Oh, well Damian lets just say that we found the person behind the... incident, and this person, erm... surprised... Rosie? In any case I think having your head poke the uvula of a level 27 ekans would make anyone distraught."
He then looked at Rosie almost as if seeking her approval, mostly to try and communicate his attempt at letting her "private matters" stay private.
"As far as Rosa is concerned let me take care of her, you're a new trainer again and you don't need to worry about things like this, you need to be free! Now you three should go and have the adventure of your lives."
With that Redwood leaned on the desk nearby, patiently waiting for the trainers to clear out so he could have some alone time with his son on his big day.

Rosies_Trainer_Card_with_popplio.png

For the first time today, Rosie smiled, shaking her head as if to say she didn't care about its gender, she was just glad to have him at all after everything! With no hesitation she released him from the Pokeball and scooped him up into a hug.

"Hm... You need a good, strong name... I think I'll name you... Poseidon!" Rosie cheered, hugging it.

"Bwaaaaaarrk!" He replied cheerfully, obviously not understanding her, but happy to be hers all the same.

"Heh, silly 'ol Popplio! Oop, I mean Poseidon!" She giggled, nuzzling him. Her once gloomy face was now lit up like a Christmas tree.

"Bwark bwark!" It cheered back, happy to be nuzzled. For a moment when she said his name with such gusto he seemed like understood it was his name to Rosie... but it could also be she just said it so powerfully that he, himself, also felt more empowered as well.

After their brief bonding moment, Rosie, barely paying attention to anything else, sort of snapped out of it and nodded in agreement to get a Luxury ball from the professor assistant. Rosie didn't know exactly how luxurious that was despite the name, but she was certain any other professor would have given her just pokeballs, so she was grateful all the same.

She remained silent and reserved due to the conversation, and tried not to wince at the mention of her Mother...

Not that she was going to go back home anyway, as this was her first day of her journey, but... Still...

For a second, she pondered if she should accompany the girl and older man... but... it's that what usually happens?

The others didn't pair up, though they did come back... Most likely because of what had happened earlier...

Ask to Pair up... Dont...

Rosie made a bargain with herself: If, somehow, they were still around after her talk with the professor and didn't totally hate or reject her company she would...

If she found herself alone at the end of the day... well... that was that...

"Uhm... Pro-Professor...?" Rosie squeake meekly, eyes to the floor, adding, "A-a...About my mother... She's... Is... Is she..."

Rosie... Rosie was whiplashed. She was so happy to have Poseidon with her, but so sad she may only ever see her Mother behind bars for a long time...

She honestly looked lost and didn't quite know what she should be feeling or how she should end her sentence.

"May I see her again...? O-or..." She finally managed to ask, but this time she hoped the Professor could connect the dots as to how this question ended.

Shame also was a nasty feeling inside her soul, as it was partly her fault nearly everyone was so troubled on this crucial day... And she didn't want to hide that fact... rather apologize for it.

"...I'd like to see her again before anything... And.. I'd like to apologize for inconveniencing everyone... It was out fault this all happened, and we are very sorry," Rosie apologized while respectfully bowing to everyone she could face.
