If every character was likable and nice then there’d be no conflict, plus I do love an asshole character here and there. I think the main thing that makes or breaks one for me personally though is that they need a solid reason to be an ass.

Is it wrong that I sometimes find Friday unlikable? I always get concerned either or not people like my characters, so playing a flawed sometimes unlikable character is pretty hard. Hence why I created Cassie, to have a character that was actually friendly and easy to be around.

Dude, have you even read Tiffany? She's not a bad girl persona, instead she's a straight up bitch and has already made snide remarks and damaged a potential friendship, and she hasn't even been officially posted for in the IC! I'd call that a record

Yup! At one point I was about at N2 (N1 is native fluency) tho now it's quite rusty, haven't used it very much these past years.

Don't worry I still suck at kanji even tho I should know ~5000 by now (wonder how much of that I forgot...maybe 90% lolol)
For writing I remember maybe how to do like... 10 (thank god for keyboards)

I only know the Japanese that I see or hear in animes. The ones that sticks to me that is. And I got this picture of swear phrases that I cannot find on my phone.

Oh, just romanji (English characters), but that's the easy one for us lol
If you want to get better using a site like this is pretty helpful until you get comfortable.
Also if there's Japanese karaoke where you live, I think it's the most fun way to practice speed reading. But maybe just bc I like singing haha.

rennuelaw I understand the feeling, but I'm afraid this event is going to take quite a while to complete which means you won't be able to participate for a long time if you sit this one out and that would be sad

The basic rundown is that everyone had a little light appear by them that guided them to this huge arena. There everyone got divided into 4 groups (combat, healing, supplies and support) based on whatever powers they have. (I'd guess your character would end up in Combat)
Then the vice headmistress told everyone that they had to go into a maze to get a piece of gold that is guarded by a hydra. They have to do this and not be detected or else they hydra will knock them out with a gas. To go by undetected the students are now forced to cover themselves in very stinky... poo.

So now we are at the point where people are lining up to get that stuff.

From my experience Japanese is weirdly lackluster when it comes to swearing. You have the one I used in my post (Chikusho/Kusho) which pretty much covers most bases (fkk,shit,gdi,ect). Theres also verb tenses that can make u come off rougher (like when someone says yameroo! It's a very harsh and domineering way of telling someone to shut up as opposed to like, yamette kudasai, or 'would you please be stop talking'). Also phrases like "Die" carry more weight in Japanese than English, so it can be a strong way of dissing someone.
Anyways I'd like to learn if there are more. ^ ^;

Its Raffelisa Herbs mixed with Durian Fruit which is why it smells so bad as irl Durian fruit which i have smelled before is horrible (yet tastes amazing) This seems to have been a misunderstanding and I apologize if it did seem that way (though to be fair yall never asked what it was.) XD Don't worry you don't HAVE to even put this on as it does smell quite bad. Just know it's nothing disgusting.
