I can't say I've ever encountered being rejected from a roleplay? Being ahead of the game and seeing what is needed before joining helps with that I guess.
Plus, what if I don't read, create a char, am accepted, and then I find out I don't like how the RP is going or the way it's written beyond the first post? I've seen interesting ideas and thought to join but then quickly turned away when I saw that everyone posted 2 lines at most or did the most random meta stuff that I just didn't want to have to deal with.
As for the dying prematurely part, that can even happen after joining, so..

Aye, fair enough. But even if it doesn't happen often doesn't mean it's not technically a possibility. ;>
I mean I do skim a bit but I won't read too much too thoroughly. You can also get a good sense just by reading the CSs, I think.

It's different when it's a douche level RP :p
I mean I've read like... 2 years worth of posts before joining an RP before but in that case I was good friends with the GM so we discussed it a lot before I made that commitment.

Random side note, these here are all demi-god/desses, and the school's been around for a while, and no doubt tons of them shacked up at some point. So are there also like demidemi gods? Or two-quarter gods? Of mixed pantheons perhaps even?
(I know, that's not something that will be added in this RP, but I and Pretzeling got to thinking about it. Imagine the possibilities! Would here be a special school just for them?)

Those are also called demigods/Demigoddess, but only if their parents are Demigods themselves. If one parent is a human and one a Demigod it is a variant Demigod, If their parent is a God and the other a demigod that is a Part God (part gods refers to those who are 75% gods) Variants are 25% and lower

Oh also I have received many questions as to what The Void is, in the alma Mater, Just for you all to note, Yes Lovecraftian Mythos is Canon to the Pantheonverse. But you will not have to worry about it for a LONG LONG time.
