I assumed that YGG was different and that New World Wasn’t. That all the canons of the new world existed, but that we’d add new characters and new locations as needed, while keeping with the theme of Overlord.

I’m not as practiced as Maruyama, but I’m confident in matching his creativity, and with all of you helping me, I think we can shoulder the worldbuilding burdens.

Not an issue, just curious. In my case, I kept all the names of the countries, maps, and concepts but didn't use any canon character. Granted, the premise was a bit different.

There’s definitely political drama, but quite a bit of overlord is character-centric. Canon characters are important and immutably inclusive to the worldbuilding in many cases.

Personally, I'm fine with using them, since we'll likely end up stumbling upon them anyways. As long as they're still close to the canon character or we act in character around them I think we should be fine. Though I understand if you think it may be too much to use them or trying to get the character right

I think you misunderstand. I intend on keeping all of the new world canon sans the things that we reveal where we need to fill in the blanks, and the changes and responses the characters have to a different force than Nazarick suddenly invading their world.

Basically, we’ll do the new world canon as we know of it up to the current novel, and if we need to later on, we’ll add new things, but try to keep with the theming of the new world.

We were discussing how to deal with clementine if our group encountered her in their dealings. I’m not sure how the momon arcs will play out, since we have quite a large party already, and I don’t know what the rest of the group would do in the meantime if somebody took up the role with the help of an NPC they chose to accompany them.

For starters, we know an adventuring party can accomodate up to four, and if we make it such that each player can only contribute one character to the party, then that means we can have four people rping in the party. Could also make another party involving workers, though we do need to consider the fact that we dont have a lot of characters that can pass off as human without the necessary spell/ disguises.

Could have others exploring the area, managing the guild, etc when not in focus. Probably best to be in groups for interaction purposes. Could also plan stuff that involve them for later events and when in focus

I should say up front RD is definitely not the person you want organizing anything that’s not directly related to combat or warfare. All things considered monarch probably would’ve been a much better guild-leader.

The group should know this, so I’d recommend she be sent along with one of the parties that’s not focused on management.

Also, dragon hunt and heavy masher had 5 members each. And Brita’s team had 7 members.

I think only my werewolf can pass off as a human like lupus (again, I did not intend to make her similar, I apologise again) and the npc I'm developong probably can pass off through the Ainz method of a mask and thick cloak.

Other than that, my others stand out way too much. Should probably have a list of humans or those that can appear as a human for outside stuff, given the whole three human kingdoms surrounding the guild.

I think Johan would be in charge of the healing stuff back at base and probably gardening maintainance stuff given the whole goat look.

If we had Monarch and Darkvoid work together, they might be able to craft something with an enchantment that’d be able to alleviate some of those kinds of issues.

If RD combined it with one of her unnamed skills, she might be able to pass for human.

Well according to what you wrote, we need a divine item that can hide their username and identity, so we need at least something to hide their identity (unless this was directed to the enemies, in which case I apologise again. Also is this ascended King Engine)

But we have enough level 100 crafters to make something like that, I’d assume.
