I like to think it's less a direct consequence of her race, and more a consequence of her playing a character who was a terrible person.

Her roleplay style was basically just expy-ing Cosmic Garou/Lord Boros, with a little bit of Najimi Ajimu mixed in.

I've been thinking of making some shortform Automaton/Cyborg NPCs to accompany Grand Mechanica, what do you think?

I've been thinking of making some shortform Automaton/Cyborg NPCs to accompany Grand Mechanica, what do you think?

Would be interesting to see. Though now I have a weird idea about having one of those npcs not be an automaton, but happen to resemble one like a dryad/treant that looks similar to an automaton. Any ideas on the job roles?

Don't know if it'd line up with the lore so well unless she was something like a cyborg dryad. I mainly wanted the accompanying NPCs to have been made (in lore) by Mechanica.

Grand Mechanica is definitely someone who'd do stuff purely to spite luddites and hippie nature-lover types, since she has the whole "Steel Is Better than Flesh" thing going on. So I can see her forcibly modding a dryad's body as both an experiment, and an ideological statement.

The first one I had an idea for was a cybernetic chimera called The Balkan Hound, which has a kind of body-horror-y appearance. Sort of like this? I’m gonna draw something custom for it. But this basically gets the general idea across.

It’s level 89 and similar to a Fenrir summon, it has ogre-style regeneration, and slashing/piercing resistance similar to quagoa.

For Buser violence was not the answer. For Ainz it was a question. And the answer was yes.

My next idea was for an automaton maid/secretary, level 85, she’d act as an assistant to Mechanica.

She has a built in “pyrokinetic black box” which allows her to control radiant and fire energy. But she’s not really designed for combat.

She has some levels invested in mid range and close range combat but most of her levels are in service Job Classes.

I’d put her combat potential on the same level as one of the Pleiades, or Evileye.

She’d probably be able to take out Entoma and yuri alpha pretty easily, since both are weak to fire by nature of their racial classes, the one I can see her having the most trouble with is Nabe, due to her dragon lightning attacks.

Both of them sound interesting so far, especially with how different they are. I take it then that the assistant npc would hang around with Mechanica, while the hound is around the floor?
