Ok so i was wondering what types of magic is allowed?
 
And btw hello, i've been role playing for about 5 years and I like to talk about comics and superpowers :D
 
I don't think there are particular magics that were mentioned as banned, though it could be case by case. The only one I think is straight out restricted is a 1st generation Dragon Slayer.
 
I am putting this here because it applies to a lot of people. Learning magic is very difficult currently... 200 years of magic suppression has eliminated most if not all of the people capable of teaching magic and anyone caught teaching it is suppressed or arrested. None of our characters are ANYWHERE CLOSE to MASTERS of anything. If your CS mentions being a master or expert of anything magical, then you are way too powerful and at bare minimum need to halve your character's capabilities.

I will PM people individually as well for concerns, but I wanted everyone to be aware of this. If your character is already accepted, nothing needs to be changed but you do need to keep this in mind while playing your character.

Yeah, filthy criminals teaching magic. The scum of the world and all that. I mean who would ever go and even associate with a villain like that or profit in anyway from them?

So might of been drinking a little tonight... so appoligies if I messed up grammar in my post or anything and I didn't realize it. I wasn't going to post but then I got excited and motivated to post.
 
Just wanted to say a quick sorry! I'm still working on a character, but I've managed to snag another job recently so I've been focused on that the last few days. I hope to get my CS up sometime today, though. 👍
 
I would like a meta-comentary where we fight against ourselves as the enemy, exploring the depths of our own mental state in creating characters with flaws and exploring the moral implications if our characters were real and we dictate how their lives that we ourselves are monsters who cause suffering to others for arbitrary entertainment. To see what our characters think about their creator and what sort of mentality one might possess learning their world is but a work of fiction on a message board turned into a reality.

or maybe some weird puppets, used to house the souls of those from beyond the rift that might be unable to pass through it or perhaps designed to take the souls of those they slay to collect into themselves.
 
Shapeshifting monsters that split us up and then impersonate us so that we aren't sure if we're fighting friend of foe.
 
Comically evil demon lord who move around while sitting on a throne hauled by dozens of enslaved human skeletons. Thinking he's too awesome to touch the earth's ground and and everyone must bow to him or face death. All hail The Things Beyond!
