I believe in you! Just make sure you level your team up a lot because it gets a bit tricky as you get farther xD


On my team I have: A Shiny Lycanroc named Shimmy, Arcaine named Zippo, Vulpix named Sparkles (need to get a ice stone to evolve her sob), Pikachu named Cordless, Decidueye named Dewey, Golduck named Psy. Pikachu I can evolve here anytime though just haven't yet. I finally found a thunderstone xD

Man, I think I just have a Pikachu and the very very creepy looking second form of a Rowlet. Man I really want him to evolve in something that looks less weird LOL. And danggggg, already got a shiny pokemon. x'D I'm still trying to get used to the mechanics of the game. I forgot I can't get a Vulpix in my game. ;( And my boyfriend doesn't play his enough for me to trade, he's too busy freaking playing league. I really want to evolve my Munchlax but it seems to be impossible to level him up. D: He needs too much food and affection.

@FirePolaris I've heard of Everything Everything and I'll Give You the Sun, but not of Love & Gelato. Sounds cute, though! There are too many books and not enough time!! I've recently subscribed to OwlCrate, so I'm super excited for the book I'll get next month. Book boxes are a revelation!


Sorry I've been so quiet this week! I've definitely been checking in, and I'm up to date on all the IC posts. As the year comes to a close, my days will only get busier. But I'm still here, and sending everyone happy thoughts!  :smile2:

It is actually really easy to get a Thunderstone, just need to buy it from a lady in one of the towns which I forget the name of LOL The only reason I have a shiny Pokémon is because my one friend gave me her for free. I love her so much though, so pretty~ I'll have to show you a picture at some point. Also, Vulpix just evolved into a Ninetails. So exciting x3 I can breed you one and give you one though! I just gotta figure out how to breed and its good to go x3 Just takes a bit of time, I have to ask where you got your Munchiax though I am jealous you have one O.o

@Sasil Crap! Totally forgot to reply, I'm sorry. Disney and the new anime, Haikyuu (totally recommend to anyone who loves anime) got me rather busy for the past few days. You can get a Munchlax for free tho! Just click on the mystery gift thing at the beginning of the page and pick it up at Pokemon Center. ;( I haven't been playing even though I told myself to. Gosh dang it with all the other distractions but I'm getting on it soon. And I totally will get a reply up for our one x one, so sorry!


@Kodiak Ahhh! I forgot to bring all my books home with me. ADKJKDADJ I don't even...ugh ;w;. I'm going to buy the other books (the one you recommended) on amazon and I'm going to check out OwlCrate to see how it is. Sounds cool tho! Good luck with the holidays! Thanks for letting me know.  c;

Just some new updates:

1. @constellation is gone? It's been a month and I don't know if or when they'll be coming back. We'll continue with the remaining members and if needed, I or @Sasil will make another male. C; I do enjoy doubling.


2. @Kingly is currently on hiatus (I assume) and we'll wait for Kingly to come back whenever they're ready so in the meantime, I'm going to find an excuse for Hunter not to participate/is exempt/begins the arc late/etc so Hunter will be not in the daycare center until Kingly comes back because I rather not bunny someone around for the whole role play.


3. I'm going to start including some NPCs so if you want to know their names/faces, you can go to the professor's page. I'll be editing that and the schedule sometime this week as we continue the role play. I apologize for the delay guys!

Hi all! I didn't realize I hadn't checked the site in over a day - whoops! Nonstop work (literally have not had a full day off since Thanksgiving) has a way of addling one's sense of time. Anywho...


Gosh, I'd love a winter-themed event at some point. It's such a romantic and potentially catastrophic season - so much can happen! I mean, snow! (Speaking of which, any of you guys getting hit with it? We got a nice flurry last week where I am. It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas now!) Since we all have lives outside roleplaying, it's certainly a challenge to sync the story timeline to real time. But I have an idea as to how we might get around awkwardly large time jumps (if that's something everyone would be okay with).


Maybe we could have a "deleted scenes" thread where we could fill in the gaps between events for our characters? For instance, if @shygirl3 and I decide Abby and Nathan's date will take place before the senior service project, we could update the group by writing up a short collaborative post or a simple rundown of what happened and who said what (if relevant). That way, we can let our characters pair off without clogging up the main IC thread. And we'd all get to see how our characters' relationships are developing on a more intimate scale. I mean, maybe @FirePolaris or @Sasil think of this wordless exchange between Xavier and Aivree they want to share, but it's not a big enough moment to include in a regular post, and yet it's big enough that we should know it happened. Does that make sense? I'm not sure how well it would work, but I just thought I'd throw it in the universe. 






@FirePolaris Noooo! All the books! That's awful! But, think of it this way: at least you'll have a bunch of amazing titles waiting for you when you go back! I just restarted Six of Crows. I tried reading it when it first came out, but wasn't in a fantasy mood then so the story just slipped by me. Since I'm still coming down from my A Gathering of Shadows high, I think I'll have better luck with this read through. Definitely check out OwlCrate (and book boxes in general). I can't afford a monthly subscription (it's $36 a month for OwlCrate!) but I had to get December's epic-themed box. It's for fans of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, A Darker Shade of Magic, Game of Thrones, and Chronicles of Narnia so I think I'm gonna love it.  :smile2:  But I'm also doing a much more affordable book box called and the story beings... which provides two books (no knickknacks) in the genre of your choice. I, of course, chose fantasy. 


I know I've been carrying out this book conversation with FP for a while now, but if anyone else wants to jump in, please feel free! I don't want anyone to feel they're "intruding" - if I wanted a private chat with FP, I would've taken the conversation to PM. But I want to talk to everyone! I can talk books all day long, guys. And TV shows. And movies. I'm a glutton for entertainment!

I think Kodiak is really on to something for the separate thread/post thing. It might be a good idea. For one of the questing RP groups I joined, there was one thread for the main RP (cause there was a shit ton of characters) and another for short stories and character development outside the main RP timeline. If managed properly, I think it might really help add spice to the main RP? Cause the main RP posts could mention smth that happened in the side story and/or get influenced by the events in the side story.


& dude if you like fantasy, have you tried the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher or the Pellinor Series by Alison Croggon?

@Aster Yess! You get it! And I'm glad to hear you've had a positive experience in another group where something similar was employed. It could even be a place to record dialogue-heavy scenes that don't require so much narrative. We can still effectively relay information in this separate thread without having to write long, lengthy, and descriptive posts. And I love the idea of pulling information from the scenes that take place "off screen." 


I've never even heard of those series! This is great! Furies of Calderon sounds amazing. Um, elemental magic? Yes. Political intrigue? Yes. A female spy? Yes! The Naming sounds super interesting, too. I've always been drawn to teacher-pupil dynamics, so this book sounds great! Thank you for the recommendations! I'm putting samples on my Kindle Right. Now.

I love both series but because they're a series, they have any order in which you should read them in; but if you're a broke and lazy hacky sack like I am, I highly recommend the last book from the Codex Alera (First Lord's Fury) and the second book from the Pellinor series (The Crow). I might be a bit bias for recommending The Crow but for the First Lord's Fury, there were many reviews saying how it was the best out of the other books in the series ;;;

This is why I have a library card. XD I could never read a series out of order, but I'm psyched that you think the last and second books in those series, respectively, are better than the first. It's always a bit of a letdown when the first book happens to be the strongest of the lot. I'm excited!
