@Aster I'm not sure how many people will join and with Hunter absent, I could see the little arcs being held in the collab thread. It'll be easier since we're going to be dealing with two or even three birthdays (Hunter is in October once @Kingly comes back). That way we don't have to forcefully have everyone be present at the birthday bash, surprise, dinner, or whatever is planned.


Edit: Lol wait, I hope I'm not assuming wrong. You were talking about the birthday arcs right?

@Aster Yayyy. I'll just have them walk towards the dorms together and they'll just be in their room, yeah? Just looking for permission before controlling Viv.  :)
 
Hey guys...before you read about the Winter Festival roles, I swear I did this through a random generator. LOL I didn't assign roles to screw people over. With that said, I'm going to go ahead and post up our new event on the IC.


Edit @Aster c; Woo! LOL I'm thinking of bringing in Vee and Maddie @Chamomile for a few things here and there once I find some time for the collabs, hopefully you guys won't mind. But for bday parties, we'll crash and trash Xav's room with Zak. LOL Jk.

Lmao can you imagine that the two waiters come to get food and they come back in a messy kitchen and no food? Lol Xav will just suggest a cup of ramen for our guests. I'll describe the kitchen/where they are once I get Xavier up.
 
I'm actually kinda a dumb here, what exactly are they doing? Is it only their dorm which is hosting the... uh love delivery thing? What is the love delivery anyways and who are they cooking for? Why are they cooking? Is the money paid for the ldt (love delivery thing lmao) for personal profits? *lots of questions from a lost child
 
No worries! I'm going to copy and paste what I wrote on our events page and then elaborate. Let me know if things get confusing.


Winter Festival of 2016


Dresscode: Casual


Start: December 15st, 2016


Let it snow, let it fall, let all your worries float away. Not! Unfortunately for you Seniors, it's your time to pay your dues. Your dorm room is assigned to a task for the festival which is hosted annually for the underclassmen while the underclassmen work to host the Midnight Masquerade Ball for you. Some of you hate it, some of you can live with it, and others will want to just ditch it to go somewhere else and have fun. After all, you do have the money and the means to do so. But whatever you decide to do, you'll be reaping the consequences.


While there are plenty of booths to go around, due to your dorm having the majority of drama majors, you are assigned to be the winter love messengers. Your booth is a magical place (yes, even more than Disney). For just ten tickets (twenty dollars), students can choose one person to converse to, inquire advice, blurt out their deepest darkest secret, or soothe their lonely soul for ten whole minutes! Or even better, you can ask the love messenger to help you confess your love. Just give them a letter & order the food, and they'll do the delivery for free to your crush as long as location is given (tip is welcomed). You'll have the perfect set up; beautiful sparkling cider bubbling in champagne glasses being handed out by a few on comfortable sofa lounge chairs with glowing heaters all around. While the others are busy practicing their acting skills to butter up their guests, others will be busy providing food and drinks. 


And why the hell would you do this you say? Whoever wins gets a special surprise. So don't miss out!


Roles:


xx. (3) Chef: Aren't you the luckiest person alive? You get to be hidden away in the kitchen slaving away for your fellow classmates.


xx. (3) Love Messengers: You know what you have to do. ;)


xx. (2) Waiters/Waitresses: Time to start serving!


Menu:

xx. Sparkling Cider


xx. Hot Chocolate


xx. Coffee/Tea


Arlington Academy has plenty of dorms and the senior dorms are from 1000-1020 and our dorm is 1004. Each dorm will have their own booth which hosts different events/activities for the underclassmen to enjoy so roughly 20 different booths. Victoria Greene is a senior who is the director of the Winter Festival for this year. She takes ideas from the underclassmen and puts them into reality by assigning (forcing) the ideas onto each dorm (because honestly no one wants to be doing this). Every year there is always one Cirque du Soleil show and a magic show along with various of booths or an actual location (fortune telling, Christmas cafe, tarot reading, planetarium show, etc etc).


I called it booth to make it seem more like a festival but each dorm is hosting an event and each event will be located in a different place depending on the event. Each location will have Christmas decorations etc. There will be pamphlets that has the map of each event and location.


But if you think about this, it's basically a host club but not really LOL. And all the money just goes to the student activities committee to help pay for the Midnight Masquerade. LOL

Thank God the only real "cooking" involves baking the cupcakes. (/cough or they can just order it to go)
 
LMAO. Omg, I can totally see them ordering it to go and making one of the waiters go pick up the food. I tried to make it easy by getting rid of the Tiramisu and Strawberry Shortcake I put on the menu the first time around. *fingers crossed for food fight* Anyways! I posted and tried to mention everyone in the beginning just so I can tag people since I know notifications are messed up. 


Be careful of the cereal mess!


@constellation I assumed Zak was asleep but if he isn't, let me know and I can change my post. ;D

Hey guyss! So I just realized that I did a lot of mentioning or slight interactions (like texting Vee) in collaboration section and out of habit I tagged everyone who I mentioned. I hope that's not a problem and if you don't want to be tag, just let me know. ;D I just thought it would help with other collabs since a lot of rumors were mentioned and such.
 
@FirePolaris Ahh! Those schedules you made for our characters are beautiful! Thank you!!! I'll catch up on your collab post as soon as I can! It's been a very busy holiday here. 


Also, everyone - sorry, sorry, sorry! I fully intended to be here and present yesterday, but family came by unexpectedly so I've been playing hostess/working. I won't have my home back until Thursday, and will have next to no free time until then. @shygirl3 Particular apologies to you! I know I haven't messaged you yet about our collab. If you have any burning ideas, please send them my way. Otherwise, I'll get to you as soon as I can so we can finally write up Nathan and Abby's date. 


I hope I'm not holding anyone up! Just nag me if I am - I'm really sleepy so it's entirely possible I've missed a key interaction/post somewhere. I'll be back and refreshed in a couple days!

@Kodiak Aww thank you!! <3  No worries! It's been rather hectic here too with meeting up with friends and late night board games. I hope you're having a blast. 


If you guys find time, don't forget to post in the IC so we can get started. And I think @shygirl3 might be on a small hiatus so we'll see what happens when we get started. Roles might be switched for later but for now, I look forward to your characters post. ;D


@constellation Heya! I'm just finishing up on some of the schedules. Could you let me know what classes Zak would most likely take his senior year?

Ugh. I suck. Sorry for being so MIA lately! Family left and then I got hit with a cold. I know I said I'd be around yesterday, but then I ended up sleeping all day. Just to be safe, I'm going to say I won't be fully RPN active for at least another week. I hope that doesn't hold things up for anyone! I'll try to find time to get an IC post up, but I feel uncomfortable making a promise I'm not sure I'll be able to keep. :smile13:  But if someone needs/wants to use Nathan in a scene, you have my permission to use him! If you feel you have a good idea of what he might say, and you want to include some dialogue, I'm cool with anyone give him a few lines. Since @shygirl3 hasn't responded in a while, I'm hoping she'll be ready to write again a little later, too. 


@FirePolaris Late night board games are so much fun! I love board games and card games! I wish I could get together with my friends more often to play board games, but we all have conflicting schedules. Adult life is no fun sometimes.

Yooo. LOL I seriously played Pandemic with by sister and her boyfriend for 9 hours straight. And then we switched to 7 Wonders. Even something simple as Monopoly gets pretty serious in my group of friends. D; Adult life is seriously no fun. I hope you find some time to yourself soon. I'm still in the midst of Tell Me Three Things and I'm slowly getting why it's called that hahahaa. No worries, I figured that the Winter Festival arc will be slow since it's pretty much holiday season for everyone. Hopefully we can slowly get some posts in for the arc and get it going soon.


D; I have a feeling @shygirl3 might be on a hiatus for a while as well as @Kingly but we'll definitely see what happens. c; Until then, Happy New Year Eve everyone! <3
