It had to be someone and why not our little ray of sunshine who really is afraid of all the crowds? x3 I did feel terrible writing it though...Poor Aivree is never going to live ANY of this down. Speciously with Xav swooping in to save the day.
@Aster I don't remember but I think Aivree has some earrings on her ear, though I could see her having getting some more later on in the RP. But that is up to you~

So I am going to conclude the auction soon (whenever I find some time and probably after @Sasil posts). It's probably best if everyone posts some time before or after my last post for the auction overview/heading back/thoughts so we can move onto the new plan. It seemed like no one has any problems with daycare so we'll just go ahead and plan that. In the meantime, I'm going to try to finish up some professors and scheduling for everyone (this might happen after December D; but I'll get it done since I do like it when everything is neat and organized).
Alright to make life easier on me (sorry guys), I'd like a few things from you.
1. 2 or 3 (if you're done with the sciences/math) Electives beside Science, Math, English, & History that your characters (ie. Laws 101, Drama, Dance, Culinary Arts, Computer Science, etc)
2. Whether your characters are done with the sciences and the mathematics (ie. they finished all the AP sciences, and AP Calc BC). If they're not done, what are they currently taking or if they decided to stop after Algebra (which is fine too).
I'll also put more details about the new event once this one is all wrapped up! Thanks for still being here. c;

As for electives, Nathan will be taking Technical Theatre (within the drama department) and film studies (if that's an option). I can picture him as a movie nerd, making references to old classics and popular blockbusters or just quoting well-known one-liners. As for classes, he'll be taking whatever advanced level core courses are offered for fourth years. I'm not really familiar with how the curriculum is structured in England, but it sounds like we're just going to roll with the American standards of education. Is that right? I keep forgetting these guys are in high school. They feel much more like college students to me. :smile9:

Sweet! That sounds great! It's based off an Academy (from the girl my sis tutors) where rich students can sort of create their own curriculum which prepares them more for college (in America, LOL I have no idea how schooling works in London). x'D But you're right, personality wise, these kids are a lot more like college students.
And that's awesome thanks for the info! I'll go ahead and update it (it should be under Professors (or really teachers except for one person who has a PhD, so I guess prof/teach? Interesting! Private schools, man. Well, seeing as we're not focusing on the actual school part of these teens' lives, it doesn't matter much how realistic the curriculum is. Might as well have fun with it!

Yeah! It's crazy because my sister gets like 25+ dollars tutoring her per hour but then again, the girl is taking computer science as a Freshman in high school. She's also
paying like 60k a year for tuition so I sort of went with the flow for this role play. And you're right, lol I only wanted to throw the curriculum out there if anyone wanted to address it, it'll be easier to know what classes they're taking and who's teaching it.
Just throwing the question out there but is anyone doing anything fun for break or Christmas? I'm heading off to Vegas woot woot! I haven't seen this one high school friend of mine since 4 years ago so I'm excited that she's coming back from Spain.

Sorry guys. I have 8 more hours of podcast + 8 practice exams to take for just one class so my replies are going to be sort of slow. I'm going to try to push and finish the auction before this weekend ends but if I don't, then it'll most be done by next weekend. So I'm praying I'll stop procrastinating and get my stuff done. ;w; It's also the end of the quarter/semester/year so I know that everyone is busy and all, C; just let me know if you'll be gone for weeks due to something.
Otherwise, we're almost done with the year and hopefully school! Wooooo lol .

I'm sorry if I made it confusing D; but core classes are the usual math, English, science, and history. Then there are electives which are fun classes like home ec, dance, drama/acting, stage production, arts, sculpting, laws, business, finance, etc etc. The numbers are going to be 100 (which are the beginning classes), 200, 300, 400 (for fourth years).

And akdjfkadjf omfg, we're done. YES. GOD. FIRST EVENT DONE. Hopefully everyone can find some time to do a post event reply based on all that happened, it doesn't have to be extremely long but I'd like to have some kind of conclusion (especially since I'm not sure where Hunter is atm @Kingly). And by next weekend, I will do a time skip to class and I'll do a brief overview. Then another time skip to the weekend when they're all going to have to wake up by 7 am and hit the daycare center by 8 am. C;

Woo hoo! Go us! That was a fun event. Is it assumed that all the dates purchased at the auction would happen right away? Or could we postpone them for later? I have a feeling it might be nice to whip out at a later time. @shygirl3 Do you have a preference? Or any ideas about how Abby and Nathan's "date" might go?

That's definitely up to you guys to arrange. C; The email will just have you wire the amount to the school so they can allocate it to the club. Then it'll give you the email of the person (for privacy reasons) and you can go over the dating details over email or something like that. LOLL This will be pretty fun to read about.

Gah! @FirePolaris I just read your last post and now I'm flailing with joy. I think Xavier's crush on Maddie is adorable, but he and Aivree make an adorable couple. I mean, what Xavier did on stage was no small gesture. That was Big. And public. I'm about ready to hop onto the Xavree train and there ain't nobody who can stop me!

It probably won't be very long, but at least it'll tie up some loose ends. @shygirl3 I have an idea about how we might approach Nathan and Abby's date. (It's not going to be a spectacular reveal, so don't get too excited). :smile1:

I can't remember if I've already told you guys, but that's what I'm currently reading and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Like, immensely. If you guys want a series with some light fantasy (magic), I highly recommend these books.

Quick update: post-auction post is up! @shygirl3 I didn't want to string along a conversation after the event, since we're trying to wrap things up, so I wrote in a fade-out kind of ending. I certainly don't want you to feel like I cut out an opportunity for Abby to respond or say/do something when she sees Nathan after the auction, so please let me know if I should edit my post to accommodate any actions you'd like to add in!
