Yikes! I seem to have dozed off, but a post is coming! Time to get some conversations started! 


@shygirl3 Hey, quick question for you: what kind of music does Abigail like to listen to? :)  
 
@Kodiak She has a wide variety but most commonly would probably listen to stuff that is very light, bubbly/pop-ish, and acousticy (not a word but oh well). Maybe very along the lines as like Colbie Caillat, Jack Johnson, etc. But she has a guilty pleasure for 90s boy bands/artists like Backstreet Boys, N*SYNC, and Britney Spears. 
 
Does Abby have a power song, one that really pumps her up and gives her confidence? (And would Nathan know what it is?) ;)
 
Hmmm....She usually always listens to old britney spears before tests to pump her up. Maybe either "oops I did it again" or "Toxic". I don't think she'd ever admit that she listens to it but maybe he could have overheard it when she was playing it on her laptop when she thought no one else was home or through her headphones maybe?

Speaking of which, ;D I do want to somehow have a picture with all of them like what I did in the yearbook. And do something fun like, "Most Likely to Drop Out of College" (ahem ahem Xavier) or "Most Likely to Become President", etc etc. >.< This will be done later lol when I do more things during my day other than school and sleep.


Edit: My stalker skills shows that @constellation is still breathing and alive! Lol that's all we need, hopefully you can come back to the role play.

@Kingly I was wondering if you want me to end the bidding for you or did you want to end the bidding with a specific amount you had in mind? I don't mind either ways.


Edit: I also put up a new board called highlights which will have all the most fun and memorable moments so we can look back and laugh at it in the future (or really it's for my amusement). Wooo! ^_^

@FirePolaris Hahaha! Nathan would probably be the photobombing type. The yearbook idea sounds like so much fun! 


Also, I took some liberties where Janet is concerned. Since she's part of the drama department, I figured Nathan would know of her. So, I've implied a couple details about her that I hope no one will mind. Please let me know if I should make edits!


And sorry, but no tags in my latest post. It didn't feel natural to suddenly create a scene where Nathan would be interacting with Vivienne (it will happen eventually!) and I didn't want him and Xavier to get all snarly at each other since it would take off focus from the auction. This was just a cut-to-Nathan-to-see-what-he's-doing post. xD  But there will be opportunities for later interactions! I'll be eagerly looking forward to them all. (@Sasil Eventually, Aivree and Nathan will go on a ghost hunt and it will be stupendous. Hahaha!)
 
LOL oh my god. The whole post killed me. I died of laughter. I can't imagine Xavier and Janet together. That's just a crazy couple. Eventually he'll probably strangle her in her sleep if she talks too much. Jk, they're suppose to be friends. And feel free to describe Janet however you like and we'll back you up. :D  She's an NPC so I didn't come up with a personality sheet for her LOL. She's just here to get creative with introduction speeches. Speaking of which, if there's a certain way you want your character to be introduced, please let me know or you can go ahead and use Janet to hype yourself up.

Right? Omg, the poor guy is just like, "Kill me. Blind me. Do anything. Can't watch this nightmare." And looks like Nathan will have a second roommate for the niiighttt (jk). I don't think they're allowed to bring others into their dorms but I don't think anyone abides by that rule.


And woo! Okay, I took a nap and laid on my bed since of making my post but I will do that now.

Thanks, friend! I'm glad you're all enjoying Nathan's attitude. He won't be such a stick in the mud all the time, but I think we can agree that this particular event obviously ain't his cup of tea. Amiright? :P
 
Okay so I spend an hour looking for songs. T^T Omg this is so hard. I'm sorry if I didn't do your character justice. Lol. @Chamomile The hat (jk it's just a number generator) says you're going next but if you're incredibly busy and you rather skip your turn, please let me know. Edit; OH! And I basically assumed Maddie was popular among the boys so lol there's that whole chanting going on. @Kingly And I sort of kicked Hunter off the stage but feel free to holler out some loves to the audience before you leave. LOL


PS. Just in case everyone gets confused, the last bidder will have a random name and random face that I will put in spoilers. LOL This is so you can use them for later and for references. ;D

Can't wait for them to go ghost hunting and she's going to have like be humming the ghost busters song while they do it just to annoy him xD

 Imagine if he's like, "Shhh! You're scaring the ghost away!" Or if the whole group wonders what the hell they're up to so late and night and follows them on a ghost hunt. LOL jk.


Anyways, I hope you guys had a great weekend. Sorry I was so gone. ); I know I usually spam this area but I got Pokemon (and my shopping addiction started again since it's almost Black Friday) and one thing leads to another but I'm still here! And it's almost Thanksgiving too. Is anyone doing anything fun? Lol or staying out all night shopping? Don't get trampled over!

If he did she would start singing louder, "SOMETHINGS STRANGE, IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. WHO YOU GONNA CALL' then everyone pops out from behind a bush or something, 'GHOST BUSTERS!' Sorry had to be done.


I get to work all weekend and deal with dumb customers so no exciting times for this lonely Canadian! Well, except for the shopping online with all the amazing deals that will be brought to my attention. Can't wait for those~
 
Oh and I know I said I wanted to end the auction last week but I didn't want to skip out on anyone's performance. So the auction will continue until this week since I have evil (jk, they're just fun) plans (I cannot speak of). If it does get stagnant, I'll just move it along. Hopefully I don't ruin anyone's plans for the auction. If anyone has major plans, please get those in by the end of this week or lol I might change it up. And also, I'd like it if we can get a post in this week to kind of move things along. Thanks guys. <3 Let me know if you're super busy and that can't be done. I completely understand since it's Thanksgiving so it's time for turkeys and stuffing, etc.

LOL Omg. They'll be like the accompaniment to the song. I def can imagine Aivree being loud just to spite him lol and wake up others. Speaking of which, I think Nathan would be breaking rules if he goes on a ghost hunt after 11 PM. Xavier can finally have some blackmail material, muahahaha. Jk. Probably wouldn't be very effective.


And man. :( Do you have any days off? I do love online shopping. Lol it makes life so much easier, esp on Black Friday when everyone is waiting in lines or willing to kill to get their hands on stuff. Yay for amazon.
 
Hahaha! Eventually, everyone else will probably find out that Aivree and Nathan have been spending late nights together. Ghost hunting, of course! Nathan would be completely transparent about the hobby, but I wouldn't put it past Xavier or even Hunter to tease him and Aivree for hanging out so much. And for hunting ghosts. :D


I'm still around, too! Checking in daily but not doing a whole lot on site at the moment. I'm considering a couple ideas for little group RPs, though! No big plans for Thanksgiving for me. My brother is in town for the holiday so we're just chilling at home with our parents. It's been nice, very relaxed. 


Are there any must-haves on your wishlist this season? Now that holiday deals are starting, I'm probably going to upgrade my iPhone 4 to an iPhone 6s. xD  I'm much more analog than digital. Born in the wrong decade, I think. Hahahaha!

Lol, oh oh yeah. Xavier is probably going to be an asshole at first but Ghost hunting sounds hella fun, so he might force his way into this little crew. LOL This would actually make super awesome character development for them both.


@KodiakI absolutely love small group role plays. ;D What ideas do you have? I'd love to hear them. :D And that's super awesome. Lol I'm going to be catching up on studying for Thanksgiving break. xD I've been procrastinating like crazy (ughugh) and I still got schools to apply to.


Well, lol I got Pokemon and a kindle so that's two down. Hmm, I think I want some games (I know Nintendo has some on sale during Cyber Monday) since I did all my clothing shopping already. Oddly enough, I really want to buy an automatic mixer. LOL I was trying to make a souffle two weeks ago and I literally spend an hour whisking the egg white into fluffy cream or whatever. I thought my arms were gonna fall off. D: Omg, it would have taken like minutes with an automatic mixer. After that, lol I told myself I need one. Desperately. And I actually still have an iphone5S but welcome to the digital age. LOL People have such clever uses for their phones and I only use to play candy crush or text people. lol

@Chamomile Oh god! I hope you're getting better. I hate getting the flu, they're definitely the worst. Don't worry about it at all and Maddie is adorable. LOL I don't know what to get Xavier to do so gotta think about it.

I don't know if you guys wanted to input some more thoughts and details on the auction and what's happening before my post (with Xavier). Because once I get him out, I'll be somewhat ending the auction and then posting Janet for the next person. Lol so it's going moving along to our next victim. So let me know below whether you'd like to post or allow one more person to be out before writing out all your thoughts.
 
@FirePolaris Xavier ghost hunting?? This would indeed be an interesting turn of events! Will Xavier and Nathan finally reconcile their differences? Will they bond over nostalgic ghost stories? Will they become *le gasp* friends? Stay tuned to find out! 


Do you mean to end the event after your next post, FP? Or do you mean to end Maddie's bidding war? If the former, I do want to get in a final post before the whole event comes to a close. If the latter, carry on!


Here are a few ideas I've been considering for small group roleplays:

1. The Borrowers (Based on the whimsical world of Mary Norton's beloved children's books): This adventure romp follows a handful of wild borrowers (the sort who live outdoors) who, during a torrential storm, abandon their beloved burrows and nests to seek shelter in a nearby manor. This is the first time any of these borrowers have ever met, despite having lived within a day's journey of each other. The manor is quiet. The borrowers are not. Mischief ensues.


2. The Gentlemen of Wick Street (This is an idea I came up with a long time ago, for a private group RP on Iwaku, I think. If, miraculously, you've seen this before, rest assured, I am the original creator):  In an alternate Victorian-Steampunk London - hereafter known as Lockwall, the City of Ghosts - an epidemic of hauntings is afoot. Or, more accurately, afloat. Enter the Gentlemen of Wick Street, who are by no means gentlemen or even an exclusively male party. Ghost eradication is their specialty, and they most humbly offer up their services to aid Queen and Country - for a price, of course. Bit o' drama. Bit o' humor. (Apparently, I have a thing for ghost hunting...)


3. The Retreat: A non-heroic superhero roleplay. When young Supers start manifesting powers, things can get pretty rough. It's bad enough that these teens are suffering awkward voice and body changes, but now they have to deal with unusual bio-abnormalities as well? Life just isn't fair. That's where the Retreat comes in. Here, young Supers will receive special guidance in order to get their powers under control so they can live normal, happy lives. Or so they're told. Starts out like a superhero slice-of-life story but eventually becomes an action-packed thriller. 

I'm not really confident in my GM abilities yet, though I've tried to run a few roleplays in the past. Eventually, one of these may go live. We shall see!


@Chamomile The flu sucks! I still have a lingering cough from when I caught a cold several weeks ago. Being ill is not fun. Drink lots of water and get lots of rest! I hope you feel better soon! Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday (right after Christmas). It's all about food and family and friends. But mostly the food. Turkey and gravy and mashed potatoes and stuffing and yams and green bean casserole and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I'm salivating just thinking about it. We spend all day cooking and hanging out with family and friends, then we eat this enormous meal for dinner and feast on the leftovers for the following 2-3 weeks. And then Christmas is here and we do the same thing all over again, except with festive decorations and presents. xD


Btw, Madeleine's dress is stunning!
