An almost instinctual cowering to a scolding she might be expecting to come her way even though she had no reason to believe that would happen in the least bit.

Well, that one was a doozey, but it was fun. If you were planning on joining the bar fight and didn't get to yet, you're still welcome to describe anything your character might have done. Scarlet certainly did not take them all out on her own and I try to imply that throughout the post, but she did do quite a number on their ranks.

Both Higo and Cherluca's interpretations of each others' actions managed to make me crack a smile. Hilariously, both entirely logical thought processes.

PlusUltra I know it probably doesn't matter to you, but in case you were wondering, I definitely did not forget about Cher's conversation with Mary. I originally had plans to implement Cher's thoughts about her words, but I couldn't find a way to put that in there without it disrupting the flow of my post. He'll remember her words for the next time they speak though, even if it might not be soon!
