Orphanage For The Out Of The Ordinary (RP) (Starting)

Misty chuckled quietly at his reaction but continued to lead the way. After getting past everyone she opened up the door to his room. "Hope you remembered the way here." She said, looking down the hallway at the younger half animal kids as she mumbled to herself, "Better not try to attack each other again."

After a few hours rest Lily got up. She looked around and smiled at the fact that she had made it the whole way without killing everyone. This was a big step for her. Lily then thought about something, Mr. David would need to know what had happened. While she walked to his office she noticed a tattoo around her wrist of a flower that was moving,"That's new...", she said then shrugged it off and continued walking.

(Why not.)

Misty let out a frustrated huff. She had been walking around the area, enjoying her alone time for a few hours, before she ran into these little beasts. "Stop attacking each other! Geez." She barked out, separating the half-animal kids from one another. They couldn't go a day without letting instincts take over, could they. "Control yourselves, wouldn't want someone to be injured now would we." She muttered out, another frustrated sigh leaving her mouth.

Pateer walked the hallways eating some curry, with only his mongoose for company. He wasn't sure if Mr. David would let him keep the blue little guy. It sat on his shoulder now, staring blankly at the children in front of them. It would seem that the girl with cat ears was baby-sitting them. He was about to turn around when his mongoose jumped from his shoulder and scurried towards the kids. Curry in hand, Pateer chased after him.

Lily walked to Mr. David's office and knocked before entering. She started reporting all that happened to him over the trip, including the human ambush.

It was a couple of hours ago when Arcum entered his room. He looked at the piles of boxes cluttering the floor with "fragile" posted on them and sighed in relief. His work was safe. He spent the next hour unpacking everything and testing to see if anything was broken. Luckily, everything was accounted for and working. By the time he was done with unpacking and organizing, his room felt more like home. His bookshelf was lined with textbooks on robotics and computer coding, his work table ( which was once his father's) was packed to its drawers with wires, bits of metal, and dozens of different tools. A red blow-torch tank sat beside it. His computer table was stuffed in a corner, with a self-hacked monitor and system unit placed alongside a geek-worthy keyboard ( he did not need a mouse for obvious reasons). The posters on his wall were mostly a random collection of different scientists and video game characters, and his bed had a circuit-board pattered comforter. Arcum slowly laid down on his bed, looked around his room, and smiled. Life was good at that point in time.
(( I can rp today, but I will be gone for the next three days btw))

(Wolf ears and tail... not cat.)

Misty finally pulled the children away from each other when the blue mongoose form earlier came towards them, a small chuckle escaping her. "Hello little guy, seems you ran away from you new owner." She said to him, holding out her arm so the animal could get to her shoulder. "Such unique fur color." She muttered, a soft smile on her face.

( sorry wolf not cat)

Pateer smiled as he saw Misty petting his pet. He walked over to her. "He is blue because his previous owners got him into a blue dye accident." He chucked. " Even so, his fur is just as soft as a mongoose's fur should be." The blue mongoose ran up to Misty's shoulder as he said this.

Misty laughed, her eyes sparkling at Pateer's pet. "Well the fur color makes him unique so I like it." She said, scratching the mongoose under his chin. After a second she turned her eyes to look at the children only to realize that hey ran off. "Sneaky little guys." She mumbled, a small growl coming from her throat before a sigh stopped it. "Ugh, I swear they have no patience what so ever." She said, continuing to pet the animal on her shoulder.

Arcum was still laying on his bed when a thought struck him. I wonder how Lily is doing with Mr. David, I should act as a witness to her explanation to him. He quickly got up, stuffed his usual gadgets in his pockets, and ran out the door and to Mr. D's room.

Pateer just realized he had actually talked to someone. He quickly shut his mouth and turned around. He slipped away to his room. My mongoose should be safe with the girl for now. He walked around the orphanage for a while before returning to his room, which he had slightly decorated.

As she finished speaking Mr. David looked as if he were thinking. He nodded at her,"Alright. I can deal with them. You did a good job on using your power that long Lily", he said with a gentle smile. Lily rubbed the back of her head,"I would've had trouble if it wasn't for Arcum having that light", she said honestly.

Arcum dashed down the hallway, and burst into Mr. David's office. " I volunteer to represent as witness!!" he exclaimed. Noticing he had made too grand of an entrance, he blushed and backed away. " S-sorry Mr. David, I just came to represent as witness for the, the passage Lily made, and stuff, unless, you have it taken care of already then-" Arcum closed the door to the office on himself before he could finish. Wow. Really?

Mr. David laughed a bit,"I think the boy misunderstands my personality", he said smiling,"Go help him calm down. I'll get to work." Lily nodded at him then went out the door,"Arcum. I have lived here my whole life. Mr. David trusts us completely.", she informed him. She pat him on the head,"No need to be witness", she said laughing a bit.

Misty was slightly confused on why he just walked off but she just shook her head, it wasn't her business to pry. She smiled back up at the mongoose and, with him still on her shoulder, she walked into her room, gathered her guitar case, and walked for a little while before she found her willow tree that was planted next to a beautiful pond and forest. 'Great to be here again.' She though as she took her guitar out of the case and strummed a few notes. 'Maybe I could check up on Pateer later too.'

" Oh, really? That's good, I was worried he might be scared or distrusting of our powers. Thanks for re-directing me." Arcum said. He smiled knowing there was at least one person in their lives who did not have powers, but was still trusting of them. " So, what now?" he questioned, looking around outside of Mr. David's office.

(Actually he does have powers)

Lily tilted her head,"What do you mean? Mr. David is the strongest of all of us. He became rich the difficult way by starting at the bottom like us.", she said while she started walking. Lily had seen him use his powers before many times and that was probably how he was going to solve this problem with the humans.

( wow shows how much I know :P )

"Oh, he has powers? Shows how much I know... but that's good, because we someone to protect us, like from those humans who tried to attack us" Arcum said. He would need to learn a lot more about the orphanage and its inhabitants before he could make random suggestions like what he did.

Lily nodded,"Class should be starting soon..", she noted as she saw the sun going down. Once the sun was down they started special lessons where you trained your abilities. Even the animal kind trained their senses to make them more powerful.

"Alright, classes" Arcum was curious to know how these classes went down, and what everyone's power was. He was especially curious about that boy Pateer's power. I wonder.. " So, where do we go to take our classes?" He asked Lily.

Misty looked at the sky and groaned, seeing that classes would start soon. "Oh well." She gathered up her guitar case and begin her little stroll back to her room. Once there, she put everything away, placing the mongoose on her bed and leaving the door cracked so he could get out. "Don't mess up the room." She told the the animal before walking down the halls.

Pateer sat on his mat. He was meditating, when he saw from his window the red sky of the setting sun. A chill went down his back. Classes. This had been the thing he had feared most about his trip to the orphanage. He would have to use his power. Pateer got up, and slowly opened the door. His first thought was to not arrive at all, but his curiosity had gotten the better of him, and he walked down the hallway.

"The field", she said grabbing his hand and running out to the field. Lily loved the lessons. Everyone was already gathering in the field, even the children. Most of the time everyone worked on their assignments alone that Mr. David gave them. He would review their work then give them a new assignment. Lily lined up with the others jumping with excitement.
