Orphanage For The Out Of The Ordinary (RP) (Starting)

"Trouble dose always seem to find us doesn't it?" Troy gave a bit of a small grin.

Troy did'int really know misty but he knew that she was following a bit far behind and to be honest he never liked the half creature people very much. He inhaled on his smoke then exhaled upward leaving a trail of smoke behind him.

"Come on wolf girl you'er a lagging behind" He called out

Lily smiled back and walked onto a sidewalk that was finally available to her. As they entered the city they instantly recognized them as "those orphans" and stayed away from them. She actually preferred this most of the time because of the violence they sometimes got. Lily started to wonder if she would be able to buy anything at this point since some stores wouldn't let them in. She looked back at the others,"Alright anywhere in particular you would like to go to first?", she asked the group.

Misty growled slightly at Troy but shook her head and sighed. "Hey, do you think we could go to a small cafe, I really want coffee right now." She called out to Lilly. Misty has always loved coffee ever since she was a kid. So what if it stuns your growth. she has always been a little on the short side.

Lily nodded and since Misty was the first to suggest anything decided to go,"I think there is one around this area", she said smiling at her. She resumed walking and looking around for the nearby cafe. They had passed one already but there was a sign specifying that they didn't approve of "gifted", kinda like a bumper sticker. She looked to be carefree about the whole walk but was actually watching every single thing around her, not to mention if there was any noticeable danger the trees would warn her.

Troy could'int help but to chuckle a little at the sound of misty growling. As they walked into town Troy did'int even have to make eye contact with people to know that they were giving them dirty looks but it was something he was used to so it really did'int matter to much to him. The town was'int busy today as it usually was just the occasional cars passing by and the chatter of people.

"Yeah I say we make a pit stop there too I got a couple of bucks to spend."

Misty nodded her head, rolling her eyes at Troy. "Thanks Lilly." She answered softly. She could tell that Lilly was on full alert, she couldn't blame her as she was too. She made sure that her ears were hearing the slightest sound just in case if any danger. Well if there was any danger than Misty was sure they could take it on, being different and 'gifted' as some would say.

Lily found the place and smiled,"Here we are~", she sang walking inside. The owner didn't seem to mind them much as long as they paid. Lily wandered the while waiting for the others to buy their drinks. She noticed a plant was dying on the desk and looked a bit sad, she touched it's leaves and made it healthy again. When she did this her finger darkened a bit. Lily looked at her finger and pulled out a bandage to wrap it in. She smiled at the now completely happy and healthy flower.

Troy quietly ordered his coffee and paid the waitress then waited for his drink at the other end of the counter. He watched the employees carefully just to make sure they did'int do anything to his drink, it was rather common for people to do that to them for some reason. He did a upward hand gesture to make his levetaite then walked to a seat with his coffee still hovering behind him. Troy sat down and buried his face in his arms then waited for the others.

Lily looked at Troy and laughed a bit,"Show off", she said sitting down. She looked at the pictures on the wall while talking to him because they looked interesting to her. The art was an odd style that seemed familiar for some reason but she couldn't quite figure out why. Lily looked at his drink,"Why do you enjoy coffee?", she asked curiously.

Misty grabbed her frappuccino from the counter, thanking and paying the cashier before she walked over to where Troy was. Unlike him, Misty didn't like to use her abilities, or in her case show her 'features', in public so she continued to stand up as to not harm her tail.

Xavier simply sat at a solitary corner of the cafe. He had no interest in buying anything, so he would just enjoy the quiet. He already wanted to go back to the orphanage. He felt uncomfortable being around this many strangers. Being outside didn't help at all. This environment wasn't friendly and it didn't seem safe. He hoped it would just end soon.

His coffee floated lightly to the the table and made a soft landing then Troy lifted up his face with one eye closed then managed to crack it open.

"Gives me motivation to go do stuff I guess"

He grabbed at it his drink and lifted it up to his mouth, it burned him a little but it was bearable. Troy rubbed his face still trying to wake up and noticed misty standing.

"Might wanna sit down before people start staring..." He paused for a moment to drink his coffee

"Just saying." Troy added

"That's if they already aren't." She mumbled back as a response. She felt uncomfortable with people she didn't even know staring at her, for some reason making her feel slightly claustrophobic. 'That doesn't even make any sense.' Misty scolded in her head, biting her lip after taking a sip of her drink.

Lily looked over at Xavier,"Hey wanna go to a library next?", she asked him and the others. Libraries usually were empty and no one really cared who went there so she thought it was a good place. She noticed that he didn't really like to many people from the way he acted and thought it would be a good idea. Lily kept giving a warm smile to everyone and hoped that it would cheer him up a bit.

Xavier pulled out the phone from his coat pocket and began typing. "Anything is fine." He really didn't have a preference for where they went, as long as the day was over soon. He wasn't used to being outside and it was definitely taking a toll on him.

Lily nodded and stood up,"Wanna take the drinks to go?", she asked Misty and Troy. She figured it was safe not to stay in the cafe to long since people would gather. As she walked around the room the people were looking through the glass focusing mainly on her. She wanted to help Misty a bit who was getting the most stares. Even with her features hidden it was still noticeable.

Misty jumped a little as Lilly started talking, her ears laying as flat against her head as they could. "Um yeah, that sounds fine." She blinked a few times, her eyes finding anywhere to look except for at the people staring. "I'm ready."

Lily nodded and started walking out of the cafe with the others. She looked around the area happily. Right when they left, the owner cut off the flower that she had helped. Lily suddenly looked pained and sad as if a part of her had been destroyed,"...These are bad people", she said quietly to herself while walking. She could feel everything that the plants felt and could hear them perfectly. Even though it made her upset she didn't turn back to tell the guy off, she just kept walking. In this world that's what they had to do to avoid trouble. Lily knew perfectly well that she was hated for what she was but she usually was strong about it. The cries she heard from that flower was unbearable.

(We all went out to town as a group. You can pretend you have been following along the whole time if you want)
(Anyone online yet?)

Misty walked up to Lily and rubbed her back soothingly. "There are bad people everywhere." She muttered, hating how true her words were. She stopped rubbing Lily's back, sending her a small smile before she went closer to the back of the group again, hoping that the feeling of being crowded would go away soon.

Lily took a deep breath and nodded,"They just don't understand. That's all", she said smiling lightly. She took the bandage off her finger, it was back to normal,"The life returned", she said to herself while walking. As she walked she looked at everyone else to see if they were even having fun at all. It was worrying her a bit thinking that they weren't having any fun on this trip.

Pateer started towards the group, then stopped. Yes, these people had to be who he was looking for. No one else would get so many stares. He decided he would just follow them, hoping they wouldn't notice him, until they went back to the orphanage.

The boy was'int very obvious in the group but still Troy felt like something was off, he looked over his shoulder for a quick minute then looked back facing the sidewalk. Troy could'int tell if he was stalking them or just coincidental that he was going to the same place as them. Troy nudged Lilly on her arm to get her attention.

"You know that kid?" He whispered to Lilly

Lily turned her head to look,"The plants say he's been following us for a while since the orphanage", she said,"I don't think he's a bad guy." She looked at a tree that had given her the information.
