So, what kind of souls do Soul Eaters eat? Does it have to be from an intelligent species, such as the ones you've mentioned, or are animals a good enough source?

Must be from a sentient being, because the Soul Eaters originate from the Barren Realms and the the BR don't have any "real" animals. The Barren Realms is tricky because it'll sound like there are animals around, but you'll never meet any nonsentient being. So, Soul Eaters can only get energy from a sentient soul, a nonsentient soul can be consumed but won't replenish their own soul as it is not on the same level.

Mortal lifespans are about the same as irl ones mostly, but because so many of us chose Barren Realms species, they tend to get pretty old. Haha.

I don't believe I'll have my character allied to any faction, at least not in the start (he definitely won't be with the Thielor, I'll tell you that), but he'll always enjoy talking to a wise person.

I'm so glad that people are starting to work on an rp and stuff, I'm sad and sorry that I can't join because of irl stuff. It wouldn't be fair to join where I am irl and not be able to keep up my end.

Hahaha I love it. But we should adress the main issue here, which is coming up with a reason to stop your Vezira from trying to eat my character up, otherwise I don't see how we'll get anything done once the plot starts.
Perhaps Scelus could taste bad because his soul is conflicted?
