The second one is that the robot is immobilized and we need to finish it off, but a group of students will try and take the kill so we have to fight them first. It's up to you I don't want to force you into all of these combat posts so, you let me know.

No you can leave it its OK I'll have it so that the robot is severely crippled to a point of immobilization but technically not dead. Then some asshole students come in to get "easy points".

Given the fast nature of some chat, have you considered a Discord for OOC chatter?
 
Wait I don't really want to fail the test though. Are we gonna have the actual players win and just have the npc teams lose. I don't like the idea of an actually chance of losing because then I won't be apart of the RP.
 
I dont think we plan on actually loosing, its more things to throw in so its not a straight up curb stomp.
 
We could just disqualify any npcs who win over the player characters, and then have the japan-a-few-centuries-from-now equivalent of the board of education tell the school that they have to accept at least X amount of students.

There's more to the test then beating a robot as long as your character is active and does something in the test they will pass, if someone doesn't post I'll just write it in like they did stuff off screen.

The way its being graded was never told. Eraser Head lied to the students to see how people will function in an environment where they have teammates to either burdon them or elevate them. Do some people get lazy and allow teammates to do the work? Do they go rogue because they refuse to put their fate in other peoples hands? On top of that, fighting against other teams is a big thing. When you're fighting other people for a common goal how does the person perform? Do teams wait and try to steal a kill or do they take initiative? All of these factors go in a blender and bam, there's your final score.

Students weren't told this because if they were then everyone would go rogue and they'd target other teams specifically for student vs student combat points, on top of that, teams don't pass or fail as a group it's just a deceptive tactic to manipulate the students. Individuals on teams that don't get a robot kill can pass, while people on a team with a robot kill can fail. It's about contribution and attitude. I was thinking that it would be a fun surprise but tbh maybe this is better, yall might be more open to taking risks to fuck around with your characters emotions, in the same way Midoriya thought he failed until discovering rescue points, you can have your character get a pleasant surprise as well.

Yeah plan for Jean was pretty much to get a kill but they were not that fussed about others claiming credit, I mean the bad guy got beaten so why does it matter who gets to say they did the final shot?. Heck afterward was going to stay in the test and run around playing with any other bot thats left up but kinda not going for final hit to help out.

Ill check it out before bed. You can do the intro test with NPCs or form a team with other late posters. Up to you guys whenever everyone is accepted. If you'd like to wait, the intro segment shouldn't be much longer. There are only a handful of teams that have to get a robot kill and run to the end of the city then I'll skip forward.
 
Yeah I was hoping for more teamwork. Try to leave things open ended in posts so everyone can get a piece. The robots aren't the best fighters but they take a lot of damage so...
