Not really. My character herself will be called Kyburis Raidriar, so anything goes. I suppose, just don't go for anything that sounds too off.
Weapons are more specifically, your character's main weapons. Arsenals can be used to fill other side weapons or armaments of any kind.what's the difference between weapons and arsenal slots?
I'm not really well versed in dice and I'd rather not let luck decide the fate for our characters. It'll definitely be more free-form with the story narrating itself as time goes, with me pushing out events and scenarios to help vision the plot. I plan on railroading just a bit near the middle and the conclusion to make sure things go smoothly, instead of letting the story go towards a direction that won't really... make a sequel possible. (Spoiler? ㅇㅅㅇ)Xethyrion Another question: for things such as combat, tests of skill, etc.
What kind of rules were you planning to go by?
Will it be more free-form, in that players write out how things go, or will it be more like you and the players take turns for each encounter?
Also, I think out of the roles available, I'm leaning towards taking the other vanguard spot, if that's okay with everyone.
Looks good, no need for anything super fancy. As long as there's a rough appearance of your character, it's good.here's what I have drawn up right now. I can change it if need be ^^' awkwardly attached, because I overestimated my abilities to do basic code;;;;
The codename isn't that important for the story, it's more for your proper identification for your character's involvement in the Armored Retribution Consortium. You can come up with anything, whether it relates to your character's appearance or race isn't something that matters.As for the rest of the profile, what do you want in terms of codename/group rank?
Anything goes, really. Arsenal's an equipment of all types so it's not something that's exactly restricted only to weapons. If you can't think of all three, you can leave them blank or just leave one blank, your choice on that matter. But yeah, it's just any equipment your character may carry around in the roleplay.I'm also not sure what an arsenal slot is.
It's a must that your character has had prior training or experience in combat before they were assigned this mission to deliver a parcel to another military base, so make sure your character has had some. It's also important that they've been scarred to some level, enough to have the attitude of "it's lost hope, but we have one chance to reverse this situation, even if we won't live to see it." type of deal. Or, maybe they're more optimistic about it which is great too, but the backstory needs to correspond well with why exactly they were chosen for the covert operation. And under the terms of what I'd prefer not seeing, probably anything that involves a history of being a renegade. Those are difficult to work with and I don't think any army general's going to trust someone who has had switched alliances / most likely will under the assumption that they'll survive. Other than that, no, you're free to do whatever you want with the backstory.And one last in my barrage of questions, did you have any guidelines or things you wanted us to do/not do in terms of character backstory?
