You're on the right hand side, having just entered through the main gate. You can see through the island in the middle that the sea gates on the far side are open. The ship was moored near the main gates with the other treasure ships. The ship has travelled half way around the circle towards the sea gates. I'd say the ship is probably at Long range right now, and it's moving away as you speak. If you want to try to intercept it, you'll have to act quickly!

How does hearing Droplets put the fear of dead gods into them make her feel? That is possible, though I think Sayuri would hesitate with the marine being held hostage. She wouldn't want anything happening to him.

Well, my thought of using my Obsidian Butterfly spell won’t work. The boat is at long range and the spell is only good to medium.
Is it possible that I could run around the harbor fast enough to get in spell range? I don’t know how fast the ship is moving

Is there a way Sayuri could communicate with the sea turtle? I thought I read somewhere that Earth Dragon Bloods have an ability to communicate with animals or calm them?

Communication with animals through Charms falls under the auspices of Survival (or a weird linguistics charm, maybe), but it can also come from artifacts, blessings of spirits, or sorcery. DBs have no native power to communicate with animals. Good idea, though! I think Droplets has a lot of survival charms.
Remember the harbour is circular. If you look at the picture, were you to reach the centre island fast enough the boat would have to travel in an arc around you to get out. If you're fast but not fast enough, you may reach the centre island just as it's reaching the gates. That would still put you at Short range, I think. Maybe Medium.

Of course! Your mother might have warned you not to run and work miracles at the same time, but you're a Solar. Live a little.
It wouldn't be a Charm if it didn't do anything! I don't recall the text of the Charm, but if you wanted to tame a wild sea turtle, it would probably really help. It might help with calming a potentially hostile animal, or persuading an animal to do something. You'll have to read the charm to see what it does!

The Dragon Blood’s mien gives pause to even the most ferocious predators, proving to them that she deserves their respect. She doubles 9s on a roll to train an animal (Exalted, p. 554) or to influence it using Performance or Presence. Even if she uses this Charm to scare off a dangerous predator, her noble bearing causes the beast to regard her with respect. Over the course of weeks, she can claim such an animal as her familiar. This takes a number of weeks equal to (its Resolve), and the Dragon Blood must successfully interact with it using this Charm at least once each week. Once this is done, that animal becomes her familiar at no experience cost.

It definitely helps you communicate with an animal, but it doesn't let you hold a conversation with one. The ideas or concepts you communicate can't be too complex, and have to be communicated with tone and body language.

Certainly! That would be a Persuade action in Exalted. You'll need to leverage an intimacy for anything other than a trivial task. You can guess an Intimacy, read intentions to find one, or instill one yourself. The current scene may rather spoil your plan, though .

We can make the other turtle a real turtle - he had to get that shape somehow. The turtle is probably on good terms with him, though, so it won't be easy to persuade it to betray him.
