Random Word Random Word Now that the scene is over, does my Virtuous Guardian come back or do I need to cast it again? It does have a duration of a day, after all.

Yes, it does indeed spring back into existence now, and everyone can have 10 XP + 10 HXP (Whatever your flavour of special XP is) for saving the city while we're at it.

It is all very confusing, but it will sink in eventually. On the plus side, that means less arithmetics! You don't need to add all the numbers together, you just need to count how many 'success' you have!
As a base;
1-6 = The die gave no success
7-9 = The die gives 1 success
10 = The die gives 2 success.

So much easier to just add 1+0+1+2 rather than 8+4+9+10, at least in my opinion. That's also why some of your powers tell you to reroll 6's, because a die showing 6 doesn't give a success, you want to reroll it for a chance to get one!

Do you guys feel like Nott should come clean? So he can partake in the council? He hasn't been of much help you, so not sure how you guy's character would react to a rando Sidereal.

Sjet has no bias against a Sidereal, so it wouldn't bother me for you to show up.

Speaking of XP, what was I originally supposed to start out with? I think I spent some?
I believe that everyone except Dragon Blooded start at Essence 1, so with the xp rules it gives 55 xp to spend in place of bonus points. DBs get Essence two at start, which is 80 xp

I support what everyone else feels ❤️

Cool, I'll have him overhear the location of the meeting and then show up there, probably!

That's a fascinating question! In your expert medical opinion, the wounds Droplets has suffered are likely fatal. And yet she appears to be fully functional. Far more hale and hearty than any woman her age has a right to be. She is radiating a terrifying power, and moves with strength and grace. You'll have to examine her if you want a better idea of what's going on. Perhaps her wounds simply look far worse than they are, but you can't imagine she doesn't need treatment.

Out of character, Droplets is mechanically completely unharmed. The wounds she suffered when she died are not hindering her, nor will she die of them, but they were once fatal. They may heal or not over time at Red Shadow Claws' discretion. The wounds the Neverborn inflicted cause her pain, but do not truly hinder her. They will heal over the next few hours. Any close examination of Droplets will likely reveal she is dead, though she could fake signs of life if she wills it.

i quite like the idea of Droplets looking like she should be dead from her wounds, but is otherwise hale. It adds a touch for her Hideous look.

Yay! More XP to spend!

It's up to you. None of our characters knows about Sidereals, and I can guarantee that in a meeting of Exalts, Droplets isn't likely to let someone that seems like a plain soldier to attend.

I agree with Psychie. Garret can be there up to 15 minutes before everyone else at her discretion, but if she'd prefer everyone be with him, you're all there.

Did he spend WP to interrupt her? Morbid Fascination Style says he has to spend 2 WP to even act.
Pardon, I didn't think he was interrupting her. Your speech seemed encapsulated in your post. I'm happy to retroactively say he spent 2 WP, since it was my mistake, but in future you'll have to indicate when you think your performance is over. It only lasts for the duration of your oration - if you stop speaking for anything more than a dramatic pause or to catch your breath, the effect ends.

I also forgot you gain motes from your instill. I was briefly thinking to use the optional rule where you have to read intentions to determine if your instills succeed, but upon reflection I don't like that rule. You succeeded in instilling a Minor Tie of Fear. You gain your sorcerous motes.

I also forgot to include his stats:

Masked Thief
Appearance 4
Guile 6
Resolve 4

I will be sure to indicate it next time, no worries.

Too bad the gain of necromantic motes is only once per scene, but that gathered more than half the motes for her Control Spell, if she needs to cast it.

Spending 4 motes to raise Resolve to 4. Do another Instill action 15 dice and 1 successes. inclduing 2-die stunt.

9 successes.
First you need to declare what you're instilling! If you're trying to raise your Minor Tie of Fear to Major, you can't do that without leveraging a separate Minor tie and presenting stronger evidence than that used to instill the tie you're upgrading. If you're attempting to Instill a new intimacy, you'll have to define what that is.

Did you want to Stunt or apply Charms to your Guile against this?

[The Masked Man is attempting a Read Intentions against Droplets to identify her greatest weakness. He is rolling 12 dice with double 9's against her Guile. 8 hits.]

If not, you'll have to declare what you think (as far as the Masked Man is concerned) Droplet's greatest weakness is, and he'll gain a specialty in exploiting it.
