WHOOOO ME?
Those are all good points Dawn uses. I agree, excellent advise from a more experienced player.

Totally. You know, I used to think roleplaying was really weird and I was like "ew I'm NEVER gonna do that, it's weird." Now look at me. I took it up in 2020, and I enjoyed it. I love it and it's an amazing way to relieve stress, and Lord knows I need it right now lol.I'm glad your having fun with it though.
It is something your big bro's and Dad here clearly enjoy, but writing like this isn't for everyone. Its a hobby we find fun.
Honestly I realised I was writing a ton and was worried like... "Is this too much? Liam's still young, and barely started just showing some interest. Don't want to overwelm him..." so sorry if that's a little too much for you littlemedia ! I really enjoy doing this as you can prob tell. So I can write and write and write for hours if im not too tired. Those are all good points Dawn uses. I agree, excellent advise from a more experienced player.
oo okay yeah that all makes sense thanks Dawn.Looking at other people's characters is a great way I know I often do to get inspiration. I might see someone talk about how their character say is part of a club or does a sport and ask myself. 'I wonder if my character likes any particular sports?'. Honestly having never done this before its a really good start. As is taking interests of your own like dying your hair and incorperating that.
Your characters shouldn't be just you, that typically doesn't work great to just write yourself. (You didnt though,) But giving your characters some interests of your own and stuff is not only fun, but also makes them easier to write about. Cus you know what your writing about then.
This is already a great addition. I think just figuring out more of their interests, even small things of what kinda things they like or dislike can add a lot. Do they like particular food, what kinda things do they spend their money on (food, games, sports, movies, they're broke and have nothing to spend, ect), do they have any really big fears?. Questions like those can help I find in adding a lot of extra depth to the character.
These things can be changed and added to in time though so they can be a thing you figure out as you go along.
