Might be an unpopular opinion but I really think we need to tone down the horrendous violence.
In addition, the last thing I want is for a character of mine to disagree with or stand up to a character who might kill them for doing so. I've been in an RP where there was a character who had seemingly all control (they were well-respected in the universe and strong, whereas my character had a lesser rank and was not physically strong at all) and it sucked. I didn't want to make their character act in a way different to their personality, but neither did I want to lose one of my absolute favourite characters over him standing up to them.

But it cost less than lethal injection. Idk I’m thinking with the population increase in the future the authority might want to control their cost on execution. Public execution could be brought back as well, as a deterrent against potential criminals (or it could be a show with ad revenues, since a good portion of people would enjoy watching it)

There's just been a lot of talk of like, death, violence and the enjoyment of both, which is something I've not seen in an RP before, nor something I was particularly prepared for!

Oof, I wouldn't be surprised if there were former IRL military in this group. Yes, I've had RP groups like this, with people who have witnessed real fights and death. I too have seen dead people IRL. I don't believe anyone is enjoying any of it. Kei, for example, was quite terrified when he first killed a man and it still very much haunts him. I will not spoil anything more than that tho.

Totally agree. Reality is much more gruesome than a lot of people are prepared for. So yes, let's tone it down. This is a RP after all, not a war simulator 101.
