OOC (Rebirth of Brilliance)

Maybe we can reboot in in the future for 3e Abyssals and/or Infernals? Like I said, there's a current fan adaptation of Infernals for 3e.
 
Aaaaand the first post is up.  Lets see what everyone does with it.
 
My idea is that Callas called the meeting together, if we're building on some or most of us officially meeting for the first time as a Circle. If you guys like it, then I'll have him go last.
 
My overall thinking is that, while those untrained would not be able to recognize it, we as Solars were able to see the supernatural talents in each other as a mark of what they are: a gift from the Sun. One or more of us reached out to the others, and they in turn invited a few others who they knew of, and now we're meeting to discuss our own plans and possibilities for collaboration, or at least a mutual avoidance pact.


It's possible that Kvau would be familiar with those who have dealings with nobility and the higher echelons of society, as his job is to be an advisor to those in power, so he could have reached out to whomever that applies to.

By default, assuming that the ST is going to roleplay my ally npc, so didn't say or do much for her in my post. She is eccentric and mostly only get serious when something involve the sidereals "agents of heaven" as she calls them and assists Narwhal when she can. As an exigent of Ryzala, I imagine that she has plenty of personal missions and objectives, leaving that up to your discretion, on how to deal with her and Yu Shan in general.
 
I've been wanting to post all day but I haven't had access to a computer and there's now way I'm trying to write that much on my phone >_<
 
I was trying not to post that, but since its the ringtone I have for my wife, I hear it all the time and just couldn't resist any more.
 
So I just realized this, but I don't think we actually established how long Ailera and Arctis have known each other. I'm guessing it would be some point after she stopped being an assassin?

Mmm, true.  It would be a few years of time that we have to work with.
 
Probably should be closer towards the start of that time so he actually has time to exalt and reach his current point. So maybe around three years ago and then he kind of just started following her around?
 
@Blackadder If memory serves, your character was going to be a courtier or a bureaucrat, so it's possible that we might know each other prior to this as we'll have been moving in similar social circles. How do you feel about us being friends, or at least occasional allies of connivence?

So earlier I didn't realise that roll20 was down and tried to post it. I get to rewrite the whole thing from memory now, yay... >_< I really should start backing posts up.

Had that happen the other day. Super frustrating. I write all my drafts on something else first, now. What is this 1998?
 
I think the funny part is it's taking me longer to write than it initially did because I'm trying to get it exactly the same and it's hard to remember xD

A quick look over your character shows that Kvau and he would get along fairly well, as they both have similar attitudes towards power (it's theirs by right). I think they would work well as allies. With Kvau's sorcerous skills acting in concert with  Kaliva's spies and contacts, I feel like there would be very little that could stop them.
