Yeah things can change actully I think what changed her tune was the talk with kuro then seeing how they could help. Before those two things she did think they didn't need to think and might honestly think quite a few might be better off mindless. Still when you realize how much they can change things you can tolerate at least one. Not to mention azani is kind of tsundere .
As far as the reception thing if she is going to take that domain then she better act like it lol.

Heaven (or at least some gods up there) don't like the fact that phantoms can think either because it shows them that they could be wrong (and that they are killing sentient beings that could potentially be purified. Lol, most gods don't wanna admit that Ryo could be right). Also makes them stronger (strategically) and proves that phantoms, when banded together, can even give Heaven a run for its money. Hence why they like to pretend the war never existed and the newly evolved phantoms are still pretty much incarnations of evil (which some still are I guess. Depends on the phantom)

But then, if you purify a phantom, is it really a phantom anymore? Assuming the phantom is the embodiment of negativity itself, purification = killing to them 
There's no right or wrong in this rp and I let players play as phantoms so we get different POVs =P If I play a phantom npc, I'm not going to make them a good guy (unless certain interactions push them a direction), but if they've got a brain like a human, chances are they've moved past just eating to fill their belies developed their own form of logic.

An interesting prospect. Does purifying these new phantoms actually get rid of them or does it turn them into a good spirit that can be used as a regalia? That feels like a question that can only be awnsered by attempting it.

Haha, it's actually up to the phantom players. All phantoms are different^^ I won't let anyone kill anyone without permission and god-modding is an obvious no in any respectable rp anyway (unless you're the gm).
