One x one!!

Before Marcellus went to bed for the afternoon, he looked in the mirror. He'd been burnt worse, but his face was still red. more like, pink now. Jack looked up at him from where he was watching two and a half men on the couch eating some chips. "Hey, we gotta call you rosebud now!" He laughed. "And I'll call you surgery. Cuz you're gonna need it after I place my foot up your ass." Jack laughed again. "C'mon bro, ya know I love ya." he said, holding out his hand for a bro-shake. Marcellus, who wasn't too familiar with this term, took his hand and shook it in a regular handshake twice. "You too." he said, plopping down on his bed and resting.

Aubrey sighs resting on her bed knowing she can't mention the problem to you. You would over react however she confides in Katie what all is happening and sighs "Marcellus can't know he would freak" she adds just making you sound protective of me.

Marcellus donned his usual white attire for the night. His fangs had gotten slightly pointed, it had been a week since he had killed the jock. 'Still barely noticable though,' he thought, fiddling with the cuffs of the sleeves of his jacket. He didn't have to feed for awhile, but he decided he would next week. For now, it was time for a walk in the woods.

The cool night air greeted Macellus as he strolled through the park, ghosting really, his pale figure startlingly bright, mirroring the stars. He ran a hand through his hair, taking in the smell of the early school year. Marcellus remembered when he and aubrey had kissed here. He would be lying if he said he hadn't enjoyed it at the time. She was a lovely person to kiss, spend time with, even be around for that matter

Aubrey knew you'd be out walking as she looked out her window. She sighed some as she thought about the fact if you decide you wanted to spend your life with her then that would mean tuning her. The thought of being turned didn't scare her as much as learning all the new thins that came with it. She would probably end up killing someone and she wasn't sure how that would affect her. Finally Aubrey turned in for the night having confused feelings and hating keeping things from you.

The next day history class Aubrey skips out sitting outside instead as she works on other classes.

Marcellus went through his morning classes just like he always did, pulled his black garb over his face like he always did. His face was only a little pink now, and well on it's way to being its normal pale hue. He sat down at his table where Aubrey was studying, tossing his apple back and forth in his hands. "Morning honey," he said, leaning across the table to kiss her on the cheek.

Aubrey laughs softly as she leans into the kiss some "Good morning to you. How is my handsome boyfriend?" She questions as she sets down the pen in her hand and softly as she notices the professor walking over to the table. "Aubrey you missed class today should I report that or would you care to make it up?" Aubrey sighs shaking her head not being able to afford for that she hesitantly agrees "Okay I'll meet you after class tomorrow to make it up." Satisfied he walks off

Marcellus folded his arms and tilted his head so he could see aubrey from under his hood. "You played hookie?" He questioned. "If you aren't that interested in history you should have told me, I wouldn't have talked to you about the romans and such." He smiled. "Those are your interests. I don't want you to follow mine just because. You're your own person after all."

Aubrey sighs "That's not the problem but it's fine. I was tired.." She shrugs looking off as she bites her lip before glancing back. "So no more trouble from that one classmate?" She ask quickly changing the topic as she hopes you don't see she's lying.

Marcellus chuckled. She was hiding something. Humans always did, and it usually got them into trouble, but Marcellus didn't pry. "Nahh, I hit him pretty hard, I doubt I'll get any trouble from him." Marcellus unfolded his arms and began to eat his sandwich.

Aubrey shook her head "You know ou don't have to be quite so forceful. I'm sure most people would listen if you just told them to stop in a harse tone." Aubrey states as she glances to time and up to you "I mean your quite intimidating just by being strong.." Aubrey smiles some as she stands "class time but maybe you want to hang out tonight?"

Marcellus nodded. "Yea. I'll seeya tonight." He threw away his trash and headed off to his next class with a little wave. She was right, he was freakishly strong and fast, but all vampires were. He didn't like staying in the spotlight too long, it drew too much attention. And attention was bad for vampires. He shook his head, she was right, but not at the same time. Humans were strange.

Aubrey finishes the next class and heads to her dorm. Lucky for her Katie is out with another date. She heads to change and shower before going to meet you at the table. At this time the sun is setting and only a few people are out. Aubrey sits down watching a few people as she thinks about the jock from a few days ago and then the professor. "Great..no telling what he's planning for me tomorrow." She mutters to herself as she starea off lost in thought.

Marcellus got clad in his white attire after the sun went down and made his way to Aubrey's apartment. He knocked on the door, but nobody answered. He cocked his head, maybe she was at his table on campus. He decided to head that way, and sure enough, she was there. He smiled and sat down next to her. "You're acting stressed. You were like this way at lunch too. Anything you want to share with me Aubrey?" he smiled, his inscisors slightly pointed from a week without blood.

She stares at his mouth a moment noticing the difference although it's only slightly there and most wouldn't notice. "What? Oh um no I can handle it myself just a problem I'm having..." She says looking back up to your eyes. She smiles "The usual white... It suits you...although I think I prefer the black." She says softly and runs a hand down your arm.

Marcellus chuckled. "The black has a purpose. You don't like white better because you don't know what it means yet." Marcellus took her hand and kissed the back of it. It was true, black was th color of action. White was a symbolic color. "Black keeps me safe. Black protects from the sun. Would you like to know why I wear white whenever I can?"

Aubrey smiles "Sure I like to know anything I can about you." She adds as she leans on your arm some resting her head. She enjoys being around you it relaxes her and she a forgot all about her troubles as se listens to Marcellus's voice. She wonders how se would like having to wear black all the time and avid the sun. She's never had to do that and if he ever changes her she will for the rest of eternity.

Marcellus laughed. It was a deep rich laugh, one he hadn't used in awhile. It felt good to laugh again. "I lovewearing white. White is all colors of light combined. Red, black, green, blue, etcetera. White is the essence of all things, but only what you make out of it." He stroked Aubrey's hair. "White is here forever. You may not see it, but it's there. And white never changes, it's allways watching, it's in the suns rays, the moons light. White is everything and anything, yet nothing at all. Just like me."

Aubrey looks up to you and smiles "You know you really think your answers through I'm surprised you can blend in with everyone in the college.." Aubrey says laughing as she loves the sound of your laugh and smile "Mmm I could hear that more often...you actual sound happy!" Aubrey states and glances to you "I like it."

Marcellus cupped her cheek in his hand, rubbing the inside of her chin with his thumb. "Aubrey, all my answers are well thought out, I've had quite awhile to think about them." then to her second question, "I'm always happy when you're here." He lost himself in her deep brown eyes, savoring the moment.

Aubrey stares at him a moment and hesitantly leans in kissing him lightly at first but deepening it after a Moment. She wonders how he will take it since this isn't something he's usually okay with anywhere on campus it seems. She makes no move to touch him as she finally leans back breaking for air and sighs "I hope so...you make me happy." She whispers.

Marcellus almost paniked, but then he looked around. Nobody was on campus, nobody saw them kissing. They were fine, everything was good. "I hope I do as well." He said, standing up and smiling, taking her hand. "Do you need to sleep Aubrey? It's getting late. Tomorrow's friday though, be happy."

Aubrey sighs as she stands up knowing once you break the moment it's hard I come by again that night. "Yeah I should but umm if I'm late getting to the table come by and check room 409 history." She says softly and smiles "Nothing to worry about just you know....a favor." She says and smiles "See you tomorrow." Aubrey quickly kisses you but heads off to her dorm not wanting to explain anything.

Marcellus nodded and watched as she walked away. It was very ungentlemanly of him to notice the swing of her hips as she walked. He wiped his face, a smirk tuged more at the corners of his mouth. He was getting more and more attatched to Aubrey. After so long, Marcellus believed he had finally found the person he'd spend the rest of his life with. However long that was. Marcellus smiled at the moon and the stars and went for a long self reflective walk in the woods.

Aubrey glances back before heading upstairs as she goes to bed and lays down and after a bit realizes it's already time for class. Aubrey got no rest as she looks like hell and sighs as the history class comes along. She dressed in jeans and a Tank top hoping to blend in more but after she is met at the door telling her to stay and make up time. Aubrey sits back down as he leans against her desk lightly playing with her hair as she pulls back but he leans in closer. As she stand up "I should go I have someone to meet." He smiles "Ah that strange boyfriend of yours...well I can make you forget about him." He grabs her arm as she moves to go to the door. "I'd let me go..." Aubrey starts.

Marcellus spent the morning in his usual black garb. His morning classes went as usual, he had an exam in chemcal engineering, he passed it without too much of a problem. He went out to his table and sat down eating his lunch. Aubrey wasn't there yet. He shrugged, she said she would be late. He decided to follow her directions after he finished his lunch.
