Appearance: (Either description or picture, your choice.) Tan skinned, long dark brown ( could be mistaken for black ) hair, dark brown eyes, 5'2", always wears a silver ring with a black infinity symbol on it.
Personality: Dark, mysterious, funny and kind if she you get to know her/she trust you, violent, very protective of people she cares about, depressed, doesn't trust easily.
History: Starfire was always a strange kid. Powers or not, people always kept their distance from her but she didn't mind, she wasn't to fond of people either. Starfire doesn't mean to hurt most people but a poke to her is like a punch to them. Many people ( family, friends, randoms on the street etc. ) have hurt her, too, both physically and emotionally so she doesn't trust people easily. Starfire was born and raised in Canada as an only child, she hated leaving her home since that's where all her memories, both good and bad, were. She can't always remember the good times ( but for some godforsaken reason the bad times just love hanging around ) or be at home so she wears the ring ( a gift from her older brother ) as a little reminder. Chris was Starfire's older brother. He was 2 years older or " 2 steps ahead of her " as he would say. Even when Starfire had nothing she Chris, he died in a car accident when she was 14. Things were bad but they got even worse after he was gone, she was abused and still goes through depression, everything she loved quickly became everything she lost. Starfire learned to embrace darkness and her odd pain tolerance and quickly became someone close to heartless and filled with rage.
Other: Starfire, though good at hand to hand combat, always has a weapon ( she sees everything as a weapon but we're talking normal standards right now ) with her. Most often it's a dagger but she'll hold onto a lead pipe as well. She also always wears a dark purple Roots sweater that used to be her brothers.

Personality: Formerly an anxious, unassuming boy who was invested in his studies, after the experiments, he went a little... Mad. More like completely mad, mind you. The years of torture, the experiments ran on him, turned such a sweet and innocent boy to a psychotic murder machine. He often tries to pass himself as stable and sane, though many who come across him are a little unnerved at first. If he doesn't try to kill or harm you early on in the relationship, most people will brush off the initial uneasiness as a silly and baseless feeling. He's developed a sense of inherent hatred for the world around him, which would most likely stems from his past experiences with bullying.
He also enjoys partaking in booze and various drugs such as LSD, cannabis, and heroin, though oddly enough he's built a resistance to physical addiction with these substances.
History: Before the experiments, he was plagued by depression and anxiety, caused by a combination of a neglectful home life and the tendency towards being bullied in school. He was taken by the institute at the wee age of fifteen after a suicide, his family under the impression that he'd be helped. It only made him worse. What a shocker!
No one knows where they went wrong in the procedure, but something completely broke him and reassembled his mind into the murderous toxic wasteland it is today. He escaped after stabbing three of the guards multiple times with a scalpel.
Other: He's completely sex repulsed.
