Hello there! I just wanted to say I’m actually going to be playing the Chosen from Tenoch. You’re more than welcome to the other two open characters which are the Chosen from Ames or Vanir. Thanks for your interest! ^ ^

Also, I wanted to share some music inspo just to get everyone excited! It might get a bit loud so I reccomend headphones, but it’s symphonic metal. The orchestral parts are amazing!

Awesome! I was hoping we’d have a balanced group! I’m leaning on either a Beast-kin or a Synth (transplant from Vanir) myself.

Whoa! I really the design! I think the rotating wrists and hard carapace really fits with what I had in mind for the Maat citizens.

They’re battle hardened. Think of Spartans where they test their young from birth.

Also, to update you guys. I’m almost done. I have the realms written and half the races written as well.

I just have to write about the Compound where most of the first part is going to take place. It’ll be in a futuristic space in the middle of the Tenoch realm. The facilities are advanced where they’ll probably test everyone’s physical fitness - like a VO2 max test - like they do with olympians.

But I’m hoping to have both the complete lore and character sheets set up by tomorrow or Monday. I’ll be sure to tag everyone as well when it’s done!

I feel like you guys have made such tough characters. Mines is going to be a medic/shaman of sorts so they’re going to be a lot more amenable personality wise. I also think kindess will most likely be their downfall. XD

This is so true! I can totally see everyone just being at odds with each other!

My shaman would be ‘Actually, it’s not a poison… but technically speaking, there’s paralytic effects so you might not be able to feel your leg while it heals.’ They’ll be a fun bunch! XD

Definitely! They are rooted in spirituality because they prefer to maintain a clear mind. In a way, meditation and reflection became their way of life as a mechanism of change/adaptation to what happened geologically in their planet. It was left in ruins and was filled with water - instead of mourning that lost of what they had before, they moved forward with what they had. Grounded their mindset to connect with the high planes of divinity and rebuilt themselves that way. Their way of life is inherently slow because they want to discover the truth of things - and such things require serious deliberation and a life free from distractions/changes from the outer worlds and planets. Hence, most Ameans while peaceful and have pacifist tendencies, are often private and quiet by nature. They don’t desire anything, but truth and oneness/connection to their communities. They don’t have the quickest of reactions, but they have the most acute senses and are often calm when things do go wrong. In a sense, they can almost sense what’s happenning in a battlefield right before it occurs. Of course, what each Amean would focus on during their meditations depends on their personal interest - some really want to focus on how to become stronger while others may want to study more about life and existence, some may want to focus on cultivating the land and others focus on how to communicate and connect with others.

Hi everyone! I’m so glad to have a full rooster and to welcome out new members!

I know I was supposed to post everything today, but I was experiences power outage and internet issues as our power lines were being updated. So I apologize for that! I’m so sorry! ^ ^;;

I think I’ll post everything on Wednesday to give time for our new members to ask questions and brainstorm their characters.

Also, if you have any ideas for NPCs (creatures, villains, members of the Pantheon, etc.) or plots that you’d like to see in our RP, let me know. I’m happy to try to integrate your ideas since I want you to be involved and enjoy the story-telling/narrative too.

Hey friends! I have a bit of unfortunate news. I just wanted to give a heads up - I’m actually going to be busy these next few weeks because our company is restructuring and it leaves me very little time to RP. I didn’t want to leave you without notice and just up and disappear. For the moment, I’ll have to drop this RP, but the idea is open for anyone of you who wants to continue on.
