I have my character right now in a park, but the park could I guess be outside the restaurant, the setting hasn't been too well defined, so i just have him in a nonspecific park within the city.

@Thepotatogod, there seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the messages being sent by the chosen hunters to the restaurant. Is something supposed to have changed that we should note, or is the security just going to be observing us in the background? @Jeff Broski seems to think that he was getting a message himself, while @Diminium seems to think the messages were more targeted to the police, and we weren't supposed to know the messages were sent at all. Which one is it?

Anyone mind if I just try and go full out detail definition and control over the restaurant at this point? Also, if anyone does encounter Sing or Sin and tries to pull the suddenly can tell people apart for some reason thing, he probably would not have wings to supposedly see in special aura vision or something like that if you really want to look for something a tail with a ball on the end of it maybe, although I'm not particularly fond of the sudden can tell chosen apart thing..

I'm fine with this, just that I kinda made a park that is now out infront of this restaurant, and I guess with a hospital nearby.

Being able to tell the difference has been a thing since the beginning. So...and I think we see horns and a pointed tail and all that as a way for our character's minds to handle what they're seeing, but it might not be their demon form. I mean Sue's demon form I plan looking like a snake type thing since she's envy and that's envy's animal...If any of that made sense >.> Maybe once everyone has excepted that they're a chosen then we'll start seeing glimpses of their true form? If everyone has one I guess...I'm gonna stop talking now...

Well, I thought that if other characters saw that, I might as well play along, but eh.

Yeah I wasn't sure how I felt about characters suddenly being able to see divine aspects surrounding the Chosen. If anything it seemed plausible for it to happen, but I feel it was a very hurried aspect, like very little build-up to these discoveries.

I think it makes sense for the Chosen to sense/see each other, especially sin with sin or virtue with virtue. I feel it adds a little to show they have a connection to each other that's more powerful than they even know. That's just me though...

I'm not a huge fan of the whole thing, but I don't really see how else the plot could move forward. Without some form of divine guidance there would be no way for us to meet up. Even with fate somehow drawing us all to a few spots in the same city, without some way to tell each other apart, there would be no reason for us to meet up and talk. That's why I've been sort of downplaying the ability, simply saying I "had a feeling" someone was generically demonic, and only when I was unfocused. Sort of like I have an inherent connection to my divine side that lets me notice divine energy. It makes more sense that way, while still moving the plot along.

I like this "having a feeling" more than visible signals right now at this stage of the story. I understand the story needs to progress, but it feels too rushed to me. Seeing a faint aura around the chosen or having a 'feeling' seems like a more realistic thing at this stage in the RP.

Well, I've just been in so many roleplays that it's like if you don't rush the storyline the other people get bored ad drop of the side of the earth. I hate it...We kind of asked for the rush though when someone mentioned the Potatogod hasn't really been involved. Just saying. It could be worse I guess, we could already be fighting, but instead practically none of us have met each other. That's not too bad.

I agree. I rarely see a problem with a story progressing too fast. It's been said that a story's at its best when there's nothing more that can be removed without oversimplifying the plot or interactions. In a story like this it's less true, but I would rather have a contrived meeting point than spend a few dozen posts before even mundane character introductions. We're in a collaborative RP forum for a reason, after all.
