Lol that's hilarious IMO.
I would not call it cheating at all. You are using the same mechanics as us. And started at the same level. Also, we have the ability to choose the situations our char go through. Thus our power levels are chosen exclusively by us.


Fae is weak because I choose for her to be. It is how I built her and I can just as easily find ways to boost her to Era's level.


Even still, judging the story as to who has what power level is a faulty method. This isn't world of Warcraft. The narrational value and impact a char has is much more important than how strong or OP they are. Besides, an RP isnt a competition between players to become the badassest in the galaxy. It is collaborative storytelling where we work together in creating a story we all enjoy. Not to mention. If everyone in DBZ was as strong as Goku, it really wouldn't be the same. The story needed the Yamchas and Krillins and Hercules. Admittedly this isn't the same story, but being able to use contrast is properly is a good tool.

After watching DBZ Kai and re-watching the original DBZ episodes in Japanese with english subtitles, I've come to the conclusion that I will allow someone in the group to develop a Kaio Ken type attack.


It does come with a price though, so take some time to consider this drawback: At the cost of it being incredibly dangerous the longer the boost is sustained, the user can multiply their power by a certain amount.


The longer the energy is sustained, the more damage it does to the body because of the rapid ascension in energy level and the amount of physical stamina it takes to maintain such an increase. The body only prepares itself to handle so much of it at one time, after all, hence the reason our bodies take time to adjust to new power levels after recovery.


Due to this drawback, the amount you can multiply your power by will be directly related to your maximum power level.


I'll use Faeora and Era as examples, since her power is 20,000 which is a nice even number. Because of the power level as it stands, she'd be able to multiply her power by up to about 4x or 5x safely for around 5 seconds or less at a time. Any longer and she'll begin damaging her body. If she goes beyond that, to 6x or greater, she'll receive small amounts of damage as well.


If I were to use Era, who's power is 84,000, she can multiply her power by slightly greater amounts due to her body's current level of physical stamina and energy reserves. She can go up to around 7x or 8x safely, but 9x or higher would be dangerous for her. However, because he power is much greater than Fae's, and the result of the relative multiplication of her power would be much greater, she cannot hold the change as long as Fae. Era would only be able to hold levels of power like that for about 1-2 seconds at most before damage was done.

So, if you want a Kaio Ken type attack, I'll give it to you so long as you pay heed to this drawback to its use whenever your character employs it. But only one of you gets it.


So here's what I propose! Those of you who are interested can send me a private message detailing how you'd construct the ability to your character. It can either be exactly like the original Kaio Ken, or you can tweak it a bit to suit your character's style a bit more.


Let me know! If nobody wants it, we'll just pass up on it and continue as before. No pressure! Just thought you guys would want to know that the option for it is now on the table.

Every single one of us is a Low Class Saiyan with the exception of Korvaiis and Urod who are both Elites.


The average power level on Metahnn for Low Class warriors is around 800 or so. The average for Second Class is between 1,700-1,900. First class 2,500-4,000. And the average Elite power level is around 8,000.


We're bottom of the barrel according to our original power levels.

You're in the Medical Bay, which is nearby to the launch site. You'll be able to see and hear the launching of ships, but otherwise it's its own building specifically for injured Saiyans and their recovery.

Don't worry about it. You'll have plenty of time and opportunities to "catch up", but remember that it's not really that big of a deal and it's not what the RP is about. We're not supposed to be equals.

It's a good question.


About the only thing I can think of is that Ildi's been told that Era brought her to the hospital, and when she recovers she'll at least want to say something along the lines of "thank you". Whig's treatment and methods might work to boost her power, but even then would the sacrifices across the seventeen Mother Worlds be worth it just to power up a few? How many died before she got her power increase? If she cares, that might be a bit of inspiration to at least see what those who don't align with Whig have to say.

Anyway, for the Kaio Ken idea, I'll be giving the ability to King Hink's character Faeora.


Also, I'll be posting after KingHink manages to provide us with Whig's response to how Korvaiis handled the situation as well as Fae handling the immediate departure after one hour was given to rest.


Then we'll get back in business and I'll introduce you all to Overlord Inecros!

Weeeeeeeeeell... Good question. I actually never thought about that before but my thoughts are "not really". If an NPC asks a stupid question and you give them a low power Ki blast to the face as punishment, I don't mind. But not against any player characters.

Just for the LOLs (that's why i built my char like that, to do stupid stuff xD ) and i won't shoot friendlies. I think...

Would have been funny, yes, but only for an instant. He'd have stood there, taken the shot, laughed like a gentlemen, and then vaporized your character, continuing to laugh like a gentlemen as if he swatted a fly at the dinner table.


So yeah, don't do that.

You can do it to one of his underlings. That he would laugh at earnestly and let go. He's not above pranks or happy accidents, just so long as he isn't the one on the receiving end of them.
