*gasps*...finally got that monstrosity over with. Heads up pretty boy, Teddy's interested in you. And it's not necessarily a romantic interest, either. (Maybe a medical interest? Scouting for a new experimental subject? A fascination in partial albinism? The possibilities are endless.)
Also, @Kyero , for the "assume" joke, is it possible to let it slide as an interpretive implication? Maybe ass isn't really a swear, per say, but just another way of saying butt? Or, if donkeys are an existent species in the rp universe, maybe she was talking about the animal as a derogatory reference?


And I know, for sure, there are typos in that post. Always...every time...I think I got all of them...and then I find one several days later when I'm writing up a new post...orz

I suppose I can put the nipple tasers which I was preparing for your punishment away this time. That, and put away the vat of shrimp droppings I was planning on dumping you in... Drat... So many possibilities with those two...

I believe I mentioned it somewhere before, but for the sake of argument we'll say that they have no "average" power level. There are some who are only in triple digits, others in the quintuple digits. If we have to say there's a "median" power level, it's around 7,000 or so. The stronger members of their race are upwards of 12,000 - 15,000.

Edited versions of existing art. I have no artistic talent to create my own artwork like that which I'm using and editing.

I usually just get really lucky. The artwork for Era is Kanu Unchou from the anime Ikki Tousen. Other characters I use are just lucky finds. I rarely know exactly what I want unless I see it, so I search for as long as I have to for just the right picture.

Alright, thanks for the info. I normally just describe what the character looks like, and then search for an image that matches.

I find an image first before description. Normally as soon as I got a general concept of what I want. It is a lot easier to write around a picture than finding a picture of exactly what you want. A picture, I believe, also helps in giving inspiration to your creativity.

Hey guys. I wanted to check in and make sure you guys are all right. I know that some of you have faced difficult times lately so if you guys want to take a break from the RP to take that "I need to post SOMETHING" pressure off of your shoulder, just say so. I'll leave the RP open ended for you to return at any time, though I do plan on continuing on with another post either later tonight or tomorrow.


I hope you guys understand that while I am sympathetic to your circumstances I can't allow the RP to remain motionless for too long. If you guys want to break for a while and let me carry your characters along with Era for you for a while, just give the word and I'll take some of that weight off of your shoulders.

Just going to put the question out there: have any of you guys ever felt the obligation to push out really long posts, in this irrational fear of writing less than your previous post, so your posts just get longer and longer, rambling and meandering down a senseless path...no?

Lol I have a tendency to ramble anyway. Normally I am trying tonstopnmyself from doing so since nobody wants to read a grumpy monologue.


The general rule of thumb I go by is quality over quantity. And I try to ask myself,"did I give the other players content to work with?" Rather than, "Did I write enough?"


Long posts don't always equal good posts. When I lost not and had to to from a phone, my posts got massively shorter. But I learned how to better edit my posts. Snipping out what isn't needed to focus on what is. I got into the habit of doing so. Which is why posts are weird T_T I fill in the important things and let imagination fill in the gaps. Rambling as I do so, for reasons of offering insight(because I like rambling). I used to be able to detail things fairly well. Used too...

I was honestly hoping to post tonight. But work, apparently had either plans, and as usual, Fridays and Saturdays are days I am usually unable to post. With a busy schedule at home, and projects being heaped upon me at work, I would be tentative to promise one on Sunday.


True to my word, as much as it pains me to say, I am afraid I shall take Kyero's offer and bow out for the immediate future so as not to slow down progress just as everything is getting good. I trust the big cheese with Fae. He has NPC'd her well in the past. I am not quitting. I quite enjoy this story, and the characters within. I will be reading along with the posts and will still be active OOC. With luck, this break will be brief and I am eagerly awaiting to hop back in as soon as the moment presents itself. Which, again, can't be that far off.


And I apologize, @Natevess , lol I was going to try to come to Broc's rescue. Time just wasn't on my side tonight. But I don't want to keep your or anyone else waiting.

Hey @KingHink, @Natevess, @Sophileon, @Trignome.


I'm working on a new version of the SS transformation music, and it's a bit more episodic in nature if I'm using that word correctly (probably not though, lol).


**POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN EXPLANATION!!**


It starts with our Saiyans fresh from victory basically (before the music starts). We just defeated who knows how many of Inecros' strongest elite guard, and are ready to face him ourselves until we sense his presence


*Cue music*.


As we turn, he's floating there laughing at us and boasting about how beating his elite guard meant nothing, and that he'll crush us himself. We then have the brass take over, and that would be our characters rallying together and powering up to prepare for what will become the fight of their lives!


This piece is likely to become very, very long. I estimate this piece to be well over the 8:00 mark, if not longer as I tell the story through music as the fight begins, casualties mount, tragedy strikes, and finally it happens.


Let me know what you think of it so far! It's just the preparatory stage right now, and the fight hasn't begun yet: SS Transformation Music


And for some reason I'm REALLY liking the way it's turning out so far. Don't know why. Lol.




Oh, and King, I put in a small post for Fae. She beat a few small fries before getting her ass handed to her rather quickly. Hopefully it all sounds okay.
