Nina is completely willing to do immoral things if it means the others won’t have to. She’ll feel really bad about it but she’s not above it.

Oooh I got an interesting idea from this! It's up to you, but what if they hate/liked each other at different moments. Sometimes it lined up when they got along, sometimes it didn't! Sometimes Augustus couldn't stand James and vice vs and then other times there was times the other really liked their friend.

Honestly the idea comes from finishing Chicory so I'd have to idea what media you're talking about xD

I have NO clue! I've been trying to think of it, and I've narrowed it down to something I read when I was in my pre-teens. . . BUT there is a huge problem there, I read so, so, so much that my now adult brain can hardly decipher what I remember! Also don't know if I said it, but I like the power :3

As for Lyra's and Lucius's relationship I think it has changed a lot over the years. When she was younger I think they might have been closer, her loving to listen to the stories him and/or Fan ( Gaius Danius Griinia ) made up or told-she loved a killer story- and always encouraged that side of them. Always loved to get into friendly debates over literature or what he was reading/learning. Now being an adult I think Lucius might specifically trigger memories from her ex. The whole not liking a bully thing is a new character trait for her, she used to not care if her friends were mean to anyone else! Hell she might have even been apart of some of the worse actions of the group-she was spitfire at one point. The leather boots very specifically would trigger her, and probably be a thing you notice in my later posts; the way they sound, the cut, the make, everything I think will be like her ex's. . . I might make it cannon that is actually why she hit up a conversation with him in the first place, which she could then also subconsciously link back to Lucius, even though it's none of his fault. . . OMG sorry so much detail, but your character seriously got me thinking.

Honestly she probably did, and she probably had a crush on him for a really long time without even realizing it. Also I can blame Lyra for not picking up on Nina’s jealousy, she’s very good at hiding that, most of her friends only think that she’s the average sweet, kind, and slightly dumb girl. Who definitely doesn’t have issues. She tries to make sure of that.

I did that, and it says that I’m watching the thread. Plus, I’m getting all the notifs now, it just likes to skip out on me sometimes.

Ayyyeee! I'm all here for that crush! And Augustus honestly is the most 'oblivious' I don't know a better word to describe it, like he has some awareness but he has so much going on all the time that if he just doesn't focus on it he totally forgets about it. Lyra might have caught on to Nina at some point if she hadn't left on her own adventure I think!

Argh, that is so frustrating and I've been dealing with the same thing from this website on and off for a little while now! It's like a guessing game, will I get notifs today or not!

I could really see Lyra and Hanako being closer 'girlfriends' and Lyra would have always had her back in any fight she needed-reasonable fights of course, Lyra is by no means as badass when it comes to this, but she would fight any bishes dirty if they messed with her friends-, then being very aware of what she needed to check on Hanako after a fight-missing teeth, too deep of cuts, etc. etc. I actually just rewatched the Dr. House episode of the young girl with CIPA so my brain is totally fresh on that! Hanako was probably the person who taught Lyra what self defense skills she needed to protect herself while train-hopping. Of course totally up to you though, let me know what you were thinking!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Lyra picked up on it. Nina used to not be completely superficial and actually wore her heart on her sleeve at one point. Now she just pretends to wear her heart on her sleeve.
