Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Avery nodded a little and tried to follow what was happening. It was a little easier, but it was still confusing. She ended up asking a lot of questions about it.

Dane kept smiling. "Yeah, I'm crazy." He said. "Crazy like a fox!" He gave an evil laugh and continued to tickle her. This was fun.

Sam continued to explain, hoping that he was helping her understand the game. He ended up a little closer to her but didn't think or make too much of it.

Haley laughed happily, she squirts and wiggled her way put of his grasp, and held her sides as she calmed down.

Avery kept nodding a bit. She hadn't realized he moved closer. Then again, she was closer too. She never thought she would be interested in football at all.

Dane sat up as she got away. "I will get you my pretty!" He cackled like the witch from The Wizard Of Oz. "You and your--do you have a dog?" He asked, breaking character for a moment.

Sam yawned, and placed his arm on the back of the couch. He kicked a foot up, and then watched the game. "Do you have any more questions?" He asked her curiously.

Haley laughed again, she shook her head, and smiled. "Nope, no doggy, but I have a kitty somewhere." She told him and then began to sit up.

Avery smiled a little and shrugged. "Except for 'what's the point of this game again?' No, I think I'm good." She said with another smile. When she got comfortable with someone, she tended to use sarcasm more.

Dane smiled again. "Okay then, let's try that again." He once more 'got into character.' "I'll get you my pretty. You and your little cat too!" Then he cackled again.

Sam couldn't help but laugh, "To win!" He smirked and then finished the apple. He tossed it into the trashcan, and then looked at Avey before he went back to the game

Haley smiled, she shook her head, and stood up. "No!! Never, you will never get me!!" She sang, and laughed before she started to run down the hall.

Avery nodded a bit. "Of course." She said. She still didn't really see what was so interesting. It was a bunch of guys in tight pants (not a pretty sight for her) chasing a ball up and down a field.

Dane smiled more. When she ran off, he started to laugh. "I'll get you!" He cackled again, chasing her. This was by far the most fun he'd had in a long time.

Sam chuckled softly, "I know, seems kind of stupid, but I don't know why I find it so entertaining." he explained with a small laugh. He turned the volume down a little bit, and then continued to watch.

"NEVER!" Haley giggled, and continued to run away from Dane. She was wearing a bright and happy smile as she ran, loving every moment of this.

Avery nodded a bit. "I've never even thought of watching it." She said. "Dad tries to make me watch the Army/Navy game every year, but I always find a reason to say no."

Dane continued to chase her. Until finally he was close enough and reached his arms out. He wrapped them around her and pulled her close. "I got you." He said with a giant smile.

Sam nodded, "Ah, most girls don't watch football.." he said aloud, as he handed her the remote. "You can change it if you want to." he told her with a small smile.

Haley placed her hands on his, she turned around in his arms, and then wrapped her arms around his neck. "Yes, you did catch me." she agreed with a bright and happy smile.

Avery smiled a bit more. "Well, dad thinks they should." She said. As he handed her the remote, she glanced at her watch. "Or not." She said, putting the remote down. "I should go before it gets dark."

Dane smiled. He liked holding her. Then he leaned in and kissed her softly. When he broke it, he smiled again. "Now off to go get your cat." He said quietly, laughing a little.

Sam nodded, he stood up, and then walked to the tv. He turned it off, and then smiled at Avery. "Have a good weekend, Avery." he said before he opened the door for her, and smiled softly.

Haley kissed him back, and then let go. "NOOOO!! NOT MR. BONKERS!" she yelled, and then ran down the stairs. She ran through the basement, and smiled when she saw her cat. "Mr. Bonkers! There you are, you silly kitty." she said as she hugged her cat, and tried to hide from Dane.

Avery nodded a little. "Bye Mr. Hyde." She said. She walked back to her bike and picked it up. Then she started to ride back to the base. She didn't want to go just yet, but she had to.

Dane smiled as she ran off. He followed her and saw her trying to hide. "Where are you my precious?" He asked, sounding like Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

Sam watched Avery leave, he made sure that she was safely down the street before he turned back into his house. He stretched a little and flopped on the couch.

Haley looked out, seeing Dane, she screeched, and cradled Mr. Bonkers in her arms. "Shh.." She said as she ran back up the stairs, and escaped Dane.

Avery finally made it back to the base. Her dad was home and full of questions for her. Where had she been? Who was she with? What was she doing? She just told him that she went for a bike ride and left it at that. She didn't want him to know about Mr. Hyde.

Dane watched her leave again and followed her. He ran up the stairs and tried to get her again. When he came close, his phone went off. Looking at the text quickly, he sighed. "This villain's mom says it's time to go home." He said sadly.

Sam was glad that it would be the weekend tomorrow, he was tired of school and needed to have his relax time. He hoped that she wasn't going to be in trouble, and if she was, then he'd have to go to her dad and apologize.

Haley looked at Dane, she set the cat down, and then hugged him. "I'm sorry, maybe we can hang out tomorrow." She said before she kissed him. She didn't want to pull away, but she knee that he needed to go home.

Avery decided to just go to bed. She couldn't stop thinking about Mr. Hyde. How she'd hugged him and how he hugged her back played in her mind. Did he like her too? Or was he just being nice?

Dane hugged her back. "Definitely." He said. He didn't want to let go, but he had to go. "See you tomorrow." He added. He let her go and grabbed his things.

Sam turned the tv off, he pulled a blanket over himself and then laid down on the couch. He couldn't help but think about how he felt about Avery. She was so pretty, an He kind of liked her.

Haley frowned, and handed him a bag. "Have a good night." She said, before she opened the door for him. She gave a small smile and then rubbed her forehead.

Avery stared at the ceiling until she fell asleep. When she woke up the next morning, she rubbed her eyes tiredly. She didn't want to be up, but she had a hard time sleeping in past seven anymore. Her father made sure of that.

Dane looked at her frown and felt sad. "You should smile." He said. "Or I'll have to tickle you again." He liked seeing her smile more than anything.

Sam stood up, he walked to his room, and laid down on his bed. He loved sleeping in, he would usually sleep in till eleven.

Haley smiled softly, she looked at him and then outside. "No, no, no! No more tickling!" She said before she kissed his cheek, and then giggled softly.

Avery didn't want to do anything when she woke up. So she just kind of laid in bed and didn't move.

Dane smiled. "Alright." He said with a smile. "I'll see you tomorrow at some point." He told her. He kissed her cheek as well and then turned and got in his car. He drove home and fell asleep thinking about Haley.

(Time skip-morning)

Sam yawned, looking at the clock. He had woken up at 11, and then began to sit up. He stretched a little, then rubbed his eyes. He was still a little tired as he walked into the kitchen and then began to make his usual coffee

Haley had fallen asleep on her bed, on top of her covers. She was jumped on by her cat, and then groaned. She looked up at the ceiling, and then began to get off of her bed.

Avery woke up at the time she expected to. Just before seven she had been up and eating breakfast. She took a shower and got dressed. Then she sat on the couch watching the news. She didn't really feel like doing anything today.

Dane woke up at about 9. He yawned and stretched and then got out of bed. He took a shower and found something to eat. He wondered when it would be okay to text Haley.

Sam drank his coffee as he walked back to his room, he changed into some athletic shorts, and t-shirt. He jumped into his car. He was so ready to get the day started, and was not going to sit around all day again.

Haley walked out of her room, and grabbed a toaster waffle. She also took a banana, and walked back to her room. She wondered when she was going to see Dane again.

Avery was tired of sitting around. While she wanted to do nothing, she forgot how hard that was for her. She slipped on some shoes and hopped on her bike. She rode into town, not really sure where she was going. She didn't really care either.

Dane grabbed his phone after a moment. He was going to see if Haley was up yet. You up? He hit send and waited for a hopeful reply.
