Jason gripped his Saber as he looked at Endo and with two fingers pointed motioned for the wolf to get low, "we will follow you around them, but as soon as they notice us we will engage.. if we kill them quickly and without trouble it might not cause us as much trouble later..." he looked at his brother who strapped his rifle around him and drew his long Katana spinning the weapon around gripping it tight in his right hand, "Emily stay by me.." Jason looked back to his Daughter he was king to make sure we was on, she was to important to him

"Lead the way Shiro when you are ready..." Jason looked to the female as he looked back out towards the hoard

scout frowned. typically, he was the one to go for the crazy decisions, and she was the one holding him back. it seemed to be the other way around. reece was right. they needed supplies to perform this task, but the reason they were performing this task was to get supplies. preparation should be in order before they were to do something like this.
"hmph... fine," she murmured. scout pondered for a moment.
"i only have about eleven left. i have a few other bullets lying around in the bottom of my backpack -," scout rummages through the front pocket of her backpack. she comes up with several bullets that were much too big for her .44 magnum.
" - they won't fit." scout shrugs and slouched down in the seat, pulling her hair back into a messy top knot. she put her hands in her forehead, going through in her mind of what they were running low on.
"we should find a town. we could search for items. not the city, though." scout looked over as she says this. reece has in his hand a plastic baggy of cannabis and a blunt wrap. she rolls her eyes and pulls her hoodie over her nose so that her voice is slightly muffled.
"your weed breath gives me a headache."

Meanwhile Emily had been slowly falling sleep at Jasons side, which hinted at why she hadn't said much in the time being. Her eyes trailed up and down the room until she was asleep, the Walkman in her arms, turned off. It wasn't long before she had awaken though from her short nap. It was nice to sleep, because it was hard to sleep. She grabbed her father's hand and looked up at him with a gentle nod. "Yes sir..." She said softly. Her head leaned against his arm almost as if she was trying to get to sleep again, but she didn't. She made sure to keep herself awake.

"Alright shiro... it's now on you..." Jason would pick up his daughter but even with her on his shoulders he could still fight, Endo gave Shiros dog a good luck lick to the ear, the massive wolf let out a small growl he was ready to go when everyone else was.

The female made a motion of her hand. She held up her index finger, motioning for them to both be quiet and hold fire until she said.

Guren remained stuck by her heels as she began to walk, backing up. She got more cover in the shadows, covered by the darkness for extra cover.

Quickly, she moved. She motioned for them to hold fire and follow her, Vuren quickly slinking behind her as they moved between the trees.

It was not evident why Shiro and Nykyriamwore nothing but black clothing. Even in the daylight, black was a great ally. The biters couldn't see that well, and the dark colors were still beneficial even then.

Nykyrian soon followed, picking his staff up from the ground and briskly making his way to her side.

"We're going to head the other way. Jason, think you can lead us back to this camp of yours?" Shiro asked quietly.

She looked at Emily. "Here. Let me take her on Morgenstern." She made a movement and their horses came to their sides, unnoticed by the biters.

Crawling up, assisted by Nykyrian, she leaned over, sheathing her sword. "Will you trust me, Jason? I can have her up here with me in case anything happens. I could take you or zen as well, whoever is smaller.'

Nykyrian nodded. "I can take the other. It'll get us the hell out of here faster." He said. He went over to his horse. "Make sure Shiro goes with Emily, though. She's used to partner riding with small passengers. She's able to keep her safe."

Shiro, giving a nod, leaned over and extended a hand. "I'll help whichever of you up. We need to go, and we need to go now. I know some back roads that should be mostly clear. We can steer away from the horde. But we need to hurry."

Jason looked at her and would take Emily off of her back and gently sat her on the horse with shiro "keep my daughter safe..." Zen jumped onto the horse with Nykyrian Jason looked at them as he would run with the dogs, of course Zen pointed out his house to them both "we get in there we will be safe! So let's go!"

Jason sheathed his Saber and took off running to the house, he motioned for the others to follow, he looked back to make sure they were following as he bolted to the house.

Emily found herself being less out side. Though she had yet to notice that her Walkman was no longer in her grasp. Her eyes quickly trailed around until they made it outside and their was discussion of her being sat on one of the horses. She smiled some and looked over to it before being placed on top of it with Shiro. She heald on tightly to her, though made sure she would be able to manuver. "Thanks for letting me ride with you ma'am." She said softly with a cute smile. She had her bow and arrow ready if absolutely needed.

As Jason handed over Emily, she wrapped her arms around the younger girl, keeping her safely on the steed. "I swear upon my life that I will protect her with everything I have."

She clicked the reins. "Let's go, Morgenstern!"

With that, Morgenstern bolted off, following Jason. The steed oddly remained silent, as if understanding the direness of their situation. He was breathing heavily, tired.

She leaned forward and patted his neck. "Come on, Morgen. I know you're tired, but you have to keep going for me. I promise that you'll be able to rest when we get somewhere safer."

The horse slowly started to speed up. "There we go. Good boy" she said as he reached max speed. She kept riding, catching up with Jason. Leaning over, she used the leverage she had of her angle, speed, and strength to pull him up onto the saddle behind her.

"Sorry" she said. "You were running a bit too slow." She laughed. "You can lead us from there, right?" She then spurred the horse on again, making him run faster.

Nykyrian and Zen were close behind her, Nykyrian leaned over and ducking behind his mare's head to make them more aerodynamic.

"I think we're good" he said well after they had cleared the horde. "We should slow down for now, Shiro. Let the horses take a breather while they run, in case we need them to sprint soon. Anything can happen, and they need to be just as prepared as us."

Shiro nodded. She pulled on the reins hard. Morgenstern stopped short and reared up. Shiro flung a hand beck to keep Jason from being bucked, still holding on to Emily as well.

Morgenstern was breathing heavily as he stopped. Shiro jumped down and walked over to Nykyrian, who was also getting down, and lead Morgen over. He snorted and rubbed his muzzle on Nykyrian's mate.

Shiro handed the reins over to Nykyrian, who gladly took them. She walked over to the mare and stroked her side. "Was she having any problems? I know this has to be rough on her."

Nykyrian shook his head. "She's fine" he said. "She's doing great for a mama to be." He pat the mare's side. "The foal is fine."

He then looked at Zen, Jason, and Emily. They were still on the horses. "Do you think we can walk for a bit? Celeste, the mare, is pregnant. She needs to recharge for a few."

"The house is right here they do not have to walk much farther..." Zen jumped down leading the horses and the group into the house, it was thankfully big enough for everyone even the animals, he took apart his dinning room table and threw it out the window to make more room there was no more need for it.

"there are supplies in the basement... there is also dog food, but as far as your horses go, we have carrots that's about all we can give." The male straightened his hair out, Jason sat on the couch he took Emily with him so she could sleep, Endo layed on the ground keeping a watchful eye out.

Emily smiled, enjoying the ride on the horse as she'd never really been on one before. Not one running atleast. She would have cheered if it weren't for the situation. She smiled softly and rested her head on Shiro as they road. It wasn't long before they had slowed down to a stop and jumped down, walking the rest of the way to their home. When they finally arrived she went straight to the house and begun to dig through her backpack. "Hey Dad!" She called back, running over and hugging his arm. "What's to eat?" She asked with a smile.

He chuckled softly and stood up going into the kitchen as he would walk in with instant noodles the only reason being it was quick but filling and didn't take much to make, he would hand the cup to her "its hot, be careful." He smiled softly sitting next to her, Endo soon layed on the couch next to her as well nuzzling her leg with his big ol head.

The female walked their horses to the house. When they were led in, Shiro urged the pregnant mare to lay down on the ground. Before she did, Nykyrian and Shiro removed the horses' saddles and put them in a corner. Leading the stallion over, the four of them laid down, sharing their horses' blankets with the equestrians.

Morgenstern allowed Shiro to tuck herself against him, and even encouraged it. He seemingly hugged it, using his neck and head to hold her close. The blonde seen found herself drifting off, sleeping for the first time in days.

Nykyrian noticed, and turned to look at her. "Well that didn't take long at all" he surprised. "Usually she goes a few days in a group without sleeping."

He hummed. "She always loved to sleep in the barn by her home. Celeste and Morgenstern were both hers, and she spent almost every night with these two." He pat the horse's neck.

Celeste snorted and hit him with her head, telling him not to do that again. Rubbing his face, Nykyrian groaned. "Oh, so you like Keon better too, huh? Never did this to him, you little asshole..."

He looked back at the sleeping female, who was hugging her horse. "Some things never change. She did that when she was pregnant, too. Takashi and I both told her not to, but she just didn't listen. One of us always ended up staying with her when she did. I swore she was going to end up giving birth by that horse, with how much time she spent there," he chuckled.

Emily watched her father, then looked over at their two new friends. She sighed some gently and smiled before tugging her father's shoulders. "I'm going to my room." She said running into a guest that she had claimed as her own. She sat on the bed, closing her eyes for a moment before digging through her backpack again. That's when she noticed she didn't have her Walkman. Her eyes instantly teared. How could she forget it? She looks around, about to cry to her father but didn't want to drag everyone out again. She bit her lip and looked at the window. She was gonna sneak out. She grabbed hee stuff and opened the window, hopping out and sprinting away from the house and towards the hospital.

Endo heard her and barked multiple times, "stay..." Jason commanded the wolf who sat on the couch as he exited the house and saw her running, he rose an eyebrow and ran after her though as he saw the direction she was heading in, his heart skipped a bit, he picked up his pace he was confused on why she was running back there.

Nykyrian sat up and raised an eyebrow. "I don't hate Keon. I just wish that Shiro would get over him. The man is probably dead by now, and she hasn't seen him in years. Just because he was her first guard and gave her a dog that I'm positive is not a dog, doesn't mean he's a god. She treats him like one. Why she can't even see what is front of her, I don't know."

He shrugged, then noted the sounds that Endo was making. He went to stand, ready to go, and realized that he wanted to go alone. Sitting down, he hesitantly waited, before Celeste stood as well.

The horse then bolted from the door, not letting the human man go alone. She ran to catch up with Jason, quietly whinnying as she did.

Guren ran over and jumped on top of Endo, playfully tackling the other dog in an attempt to get him to play.

Emily hadn't noticed that Jason had followed. She didn't care at the moment. She had her mind set on one thing. Ahead of her was a single zombie. She hesitated for a moment before breaking it her knife and jumping, flying at the zombie and driving the knife through it's skull. With a grunt she pulled the knife out and kept running until she reached the hospital. Her eyes trailed up the building before she entered, looking for the room.

Jason heard the horse his eyes widening a bit "uhh.. alright well you can help me than..." he jumped up onto the horse bareback and slowly road after Emily he was still confused on why she ran towards the hospital alone and with the horde located so close...

Back at the house Endo rolled over and would playfully chew on gurens ear as he pasted his chest it though could be seen Endo was full blooded wolf, he let out a playful growl and rolled around with Gurens

Jason saw the kill his eyes wide a bit as he picked up the pace of the horse as he slowed down a bit and motioned for the horse to stay out of sight as he made the final approach to the hospital.

Celeste hurried and ran towards the hospital, wanting to help the young girl that had been so kind to her rider and her mistress.

As they approached the hospital, Celeste slowed down. She trotted to a safer place. Then, she proceeded to lay down on the ground.

She began to breathe heavily, rolling over. The horse began to breathe heavily.

Then, as she did, the thundering of hooves came from somewhere nearby. A few seconds later, the silhouette of Morgenstern came stealing by. Shiro sat on top of him, riding into the hospital to attempt to find Jason.

"Jason?"

Guren barked and proceeded to roll around with Endo. Eventually, the canine succeeded in standing atop the wolf, tipping and seeming to smile with pride.

Endo looked up at the dog and would just lay there, he was a more focused on what Jason was doing and if Emily was ok...

Jason quickly grabbed Shiro and would pull her into the shadows lightly covering her mouth just incase, the undead where in the building, he motioned for her to follow behind him and keep quiet.

"Emily... " he whispered looking slowly into each room his saber in hand as he looked behind to make sure shiro was following, "no offense but you should be somewhere safe..." he turned sharp looking into a room it was empty thankfully, as he continued down the hall.

"Please be safe my daughter..."

Emily slowly made her way up the many stairs before entering the room. She smiled when she saw her Walkman. Her hands instantly went for it as she put it on and flicked through, searching for a song. She smiled when she finally found one, dancing some too it for a moment. Little did she know a zombie had followed her into the room.

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore, I want them to turn black!

The zombie grabbed her shoulders, causing her to scream and vere around. Her hands faught to try and kill it but she dropped the knife. Slowly she backed up.

I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I turn my head until my darkness goes

She managed to get away, but was pressed up against a window. She quickly went through her bag and grabbed the revolver, pointing it at the zombies head.

I see a line of cars and they're all painted black
With flowers and my love, never to come back

Emily closed her eyes and pulled the trigger. She let out a scream, the zombie killed but her wrists breaking as they flew back. Causing the gun to shatter the window. The momentum causing her to trip and fall. As if in slow motion her hands waved towards the window to try and catch it. But it was too late. The shattered window had torn her shirt and ripped through some of her flesh. When Jason arrived he would see the broken window, and part of her shirt, bloodied and waving in the wind. On the floor, the Walkman and headphones blasting the song...

I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a new born baby, it just happens every day

Jason heard the scream running to the room his eyes widening as he saw her fall out of the window "EMILY!" He than ran back out of the room jumped down flights of stairs to get to ground level and ran to her his eyes widened "Emily!" He slid to his daughter as he picked her up into his arms "Emily answer me please!"

Seeing she was knocked out cold, but to him she thought she was dead, he stood up with tears in his eyes as he screamed at the top of his lungs, rage and sadness taking him over as he kneeled now crying his eyes out.. he lost both the people he loved... and he couldn't stop it.

He didn't know what to do... his brain cancer was already at the point he was as good as dead... he doesn't have a daughter anymore... and a wife only his asshole brother and the wolf.,, to him that wasn't enough as he walked away past shiro he was just going to live his last days of his brain cancer filled life alone...

Shiro raised an eyebrow at Jason telling her that she needed to be in a safer place. "Don't worry about me" she said, waving him off. "It's just a stab wound. Nothing I can't handle."

That's when she heard the scream. "Shit" she said, following Jason into the room. When Emily fell from the window, she watched as Jason ran down the stairs.

Shiro, however, took the easier route. Starting with a run, she stepped on the ledge and jumped, landing on her feet nearby Emily. She glanced back up. She had just...

Nykyrian soon appeared. "Did you just jump out of the window?" He asked incredulously, kneeling by Emily and the former ambassador. "What's going on here?"

Shiro examined Emily. As Jason left, she pressed her fingers to the girl's neck. "Jason" she said to the man. "Emily is alive. Her heart is still beating, but not for long. We need to get her somewhere. If you can take Celeste back to the house, Nykyrian and I will get what we need and meet you back there. We may be able to save her."

She gently lifted Emily's arm. "She won't have use of her hands for a while, and will have to undergo therapy while healing, but she'd still be alive."

Jason was already gone he couldn't hear anything and didnt really want to, Endo though ran up and picked Emily up onto his back and walked back to the house, Zen could easily patch her up there.

Jason's eyes were blank as he just walked around the city he didn't care what happened to him.. for all he knew his family was dead and had nothing left...

When Endo got her to the house and went upstairs with her, Zen immediately got to work fixing her right up, he'd put the broken wrist in a casket and laid her on the bed to allow her to recover..

Emily's back bleed quite alot as she was heald. Her heartbeat present but thin. Her breath low. She was unresponsive, unable to speak to anyone because of her unconsciousness. She dreamed about her mother and father. Their life together. Everything she could bring back from.past memories. And then the final shot that killed her.

Psycho is at a loss of words, unable to think on how exactly she can continue writing yet. The next post should be longer, hopefully...
