Guren, The Dog

Not gaining any help from that group of humans, Guren moved on. He followed a rather fresh scent a ways until he reached a small house-like building.

Hesitantly, the dog went up to the house. He began to scratch at the door, whining and whimpering loudly in an attempt to get to the human inside.

Standing on his hind legs, the large dog continued to scratch, letting out one quick bark for added measure.

A large black wolf, came charging up the stairs, it growled at her a bit, as it barked a few times while sniffing her legs, but soon smelling, Zen's scent from the time he grabbed her to pull her out of harms way, the wolf jumped up putting its arms on her shoulders licking her face over and over and over, its tail wagging a hundred miles and hour.

Jason laughed a bit, as he watched the wolf lick his daughter "Come here, boy! come here, Endo!" The wolf ran over and jumped onto Jason before just laying on him, the wolf was rather huge, but was a big teddy bear towards family and friends. "His name is Endogeny Emily.. he has been Zen's pet for a long time ever since he was just a little pup found in the woods."

Jason stroked the massive wolf's back, as he waited for Zen to come downstairs, he went to the basement, and would grab his secondary, a Kar98K sniper rifle, and left the STG44 the reason being, Jason was going to take the MP40, and the superior amount of 9mm ammunition, because of course of his handgun.

Zen would fill his vest, and a sack full of rounds for his weapons as he looked over at Jason, and gave a small nod "Hey kid.. you got everything you need?"

"What the hell?" he turned towards the door, an eyebrow raised, Endo growled standing up, as he approached the door sniffing it a bit "Easy Endo.." Slowly Zen would open the door his eyes wide as he looked at the dog

Guren The Dog

As the humans opened the door, the large black wolflike canine shifted his focus to the man that had opened the door.

The canine dropped to all four legs again, his ears up and aware, listening, and his tail wagging. Very slowly.

He whined and pawed at the man's foot, panting. Looking up, he shook himself off, and a piece of paper fell out of his collar. It was a note, from Kira.

To whomever may be the finder of this,

My name is Shiro, and I'm the leader of a large group known as The Union. I have been alone since the beginning, since my late husband and newborn daughter fell victim to the horrid fate many of us now face. I assure you that I am an ally to all,and will help you greatly in return for assistance, so I ask you to read this and heed my words.

You already know that the world is not as it used to be. It is dangerous, and full of Biters and even humans that will kill you without a moment's notice or with no regrets.

If my dog has given this to you, it means something has happened to me that requires outside assistance. Either I am in danger, or are caught in the midst of a dangerous situation, and my partner Nykyrian can no longer be of any assistance to me.

This canine's name is Guren, and he's been my most trusted friend for over three years, ever since he was a pup. I trained him to get help if needed, and hopefully he now succeeds in his mission.

If possible, please follow him. My situation is most likely dire, and I need your help. I do fear I will die, and without you, I probably will. Trust the dog. He knows where he's going.

Emily squealed some when the dog growled, about to run and hide until she felt Endo jump up onto her, causing her to collapse to the ground, whimpering some before giggling and hugging the dog. Though it wasn't long until it was called away and jumped up on Jason. Emily frowned some and chased the dog, jumping onto the couch and hugging it for a moment.

It wasn't long before Zen was back downstairs. She looked back at him for a moment, sniffling and looking away, petting the dog once more. From what she had seen, Zen was ready to go and was prepared for a battle. She couldn't tell why he needed that much, but she understood after thinking about it for a moment. Thas when there was scratching at the door...

Emily jumped up and ran to the door, peeking out and seeing the dog. She smiled, figuring that it was nice, and instantly pushed passed Zen and pet its head, though seeing the note she grabbed it and heald it up to Zen. Though the whole time she avoided eye contact. She continued to pet the dog while he read, hoping that this new dog wouldn't attack.

Endo, the massive actual wolf, would tackle the dog over growling a bit, before sniffing the creature, soon licking the dogs face a few times, Zen picked up the note reading it, "Alright guy's it seems we have a mission.. we should help this person out alright? Lets stay together.. keep it silent.. no guns unless it gets out of hand, so that means i will use my Katana, Jason you use your Saber, and Emily, you use your Bow, and your knife.. alright?"

Guren The Dog

As the young female came out, Guren's tail began wagging. He did not forget about his mistress, but this girl seemed just as kind as her.

As the girl pet him, he closed his eyes, tongue extended from his mouth is a moment of pure bliss. Soon enough, he opened them again.

He stood on his back legs and put his fore paws on her shoulders, panting. He licked her nose before pulling back.

He cocked his head and stared at her.

And then he was tackled. He growled, but soon relaxed when the other canine did not hurt him.

The two dogs looked very similar. The same size, color, and the same looking fur. It was if Guren was a wolf as well.

He then barked and looked at the group, turning around before running off towards Shiro.

"Come on! let's go guys! Endo! lead! follow the dog!" the wolf would do so, following behind Guren, keeping up with him, Zen gripped his rifle, as Jason stood up unsheathing his sword "Alright Emily.. are you ready?" Jason looked at her daughter, he wanted to make sure she was ready for this and was not going to be afraid again, if she was, of course, he would take care of her and make sure she was safe.

Emily smiled some when the dog had licked her, though of course let out a squeal as Endo jumped up and tackled the other dog, knocking her to her butt. She stood up and stared at the two with a smile before watching the dog head off. Emily grabbed her bow and tossed it over her shoulder, along with her bag and grabbed Jason's hand, hugging him for a moment before running ahead with the dogs.

Jason ran right behind, With Zen taking up the rear, as he looked back and forth, the squad running and following the dog, of course, Zen and Jason both had no idea where they were going, but figured someone was really needing their help, "Remember.. we have to keep this silent.. those things follow noise.."

The woman heard the sound of a dog barking. Looking up, she saw the outline of Guren running towards them, three humans and another dog following him.

"Good boy" she said. Slowly, she raised her gun and diverted the biters, hand holding the gun shaking uncontrollably.

Slowly getting off of the horse, her knees buckled and she fell to the ground, collapsing into her knees as she grabbed the rifle to keep from completely falling and passing out again.

Guren came and held her up, licking her chin. Weakly, the woman stroked the dog. The dog, going back to the group, he looked at the man, silently asking him to help Shiro.

It would only then be noticeable that Guren had blood on his head.

And that Shiro had some on her hand, as well as her side.

At that moment, Shiro fell into a state of actual unconsciousness, letting the bridle go and collapsing, making Morgenstern neigh loudly to get their attention.​

Zen ran up to Shiro, immediately passing the dog, as he picked her up gently, Jason this time was the one to hold cover fire, as he used his MP40 to take out any remaining Zombies with only one, if not two shots, and if they got close, he used his Saber "Come on Zen! let's go!" The brother would nod holding her up, as now the group of four and two dogs, made their way to the city where there were medical supplies that could help the women.

"Keep me, covered guys. we have a long walk.. but I know we can make it.." Zen looked at everyone, even at the two dogs.

Emily watched the dog run over to a girl who sat a top a horse. She smiled some though could quickly see that the girl was hurt. She whined and ran over, wanting to help but not knowing what to do, though Zen had picked her up. Emily's eyes trailed up the horse for a moment before she smiled and grabbed the reigns, gently leading the horse to follow them. She kept close to Zen and Jason while they walked.

"Daddy." She said, speaking for the first time and gently tugging at his shirt. "Can't we put her on the horse, wouldn't it be easier to transport her?" She asked quietly.

Jason smiled softly as she looked at her Daughter "yes indeed it would.." Zen would put her on the horse and would sit on the horse with her, just to keep her balanced, as slowly he would lead the horse along the way heading to the city, Jason would look around as he softly patted her hair "Good job Emily.." He smiled kissing her on the forehead, Endo was on high alert looking around, but mostly because of constant gunshots in the distance.

Shiro & Guren

Shiro was completely limp. As Zen picked her up, she seemed to melt, her limbs hanging like a rag doll.

The wound on her size was still bleeding, the crimson liquid easily soaking through both her field dressing and her shirt.

She hadn't had time to properly dress it. If only she'd had Keon or Nykyrian with her.​

"Shiro!" A voice called from the distance as he shot a horse.

"Shiro!" He called again. "Where are you?" As he shot, he ran. His brown hair blew out of his face. He knew she would be around these parts.

Running from the woods, his feet hit the concrete and he kept running. Ahead, he saw a familiar horse, and a familiar blonde.

"Shiro!" He called, skidding to a halt beside them. "Who the hell are you?" He asked. "And what the hell did you do to her?"

Jason took aim with his Mp40, and turned the safety off "Hold it, buddy! we are just helping her out! this dog found us and took us to her! you so much as move and I will put 64 bullets in your head!" Jason's eyes narrowed as he placed his finger firm on the trigger, he was not joking around and was not taking a single chance, as Zen looked at the male keeping Shiro on the horse and would put his hand on her wound, to try and help stop the bleeding.

Emily smiled proudly as she let go of the reigns and hands the reigns to Zen, still avoiding looking at him. She continued to walk along with them towards the city until the sound of a voice was heard, someone calling for a name. She tilted her head until she saw a man running towards them. She hesitated at first, but her eyes shot up at Jason who heald s gun to the person. "Dad... No, I think this is a friend." She said softly trying to move the gun away. "The lady said she was part of a group, it's very likely he's a member, I mean he must be aquainted some how, he knows her name..."

Jason looked down at his Daughter but didn't lower the gun, but to make Emily feel better, her did flick on the safety of the weapon, as he looked at the person "Identify yourself sir.. before taking a step forward.." Zen looked over at the male as he kept the female on the horse but would grit his teeth "WE DON"T HAVE TIME SHE IS GOING TO DIE!" He snapped the Reign of the horse, as the horse shot off at full speed heading towards the city "Endo! stay and help them! Go to the hospital when you are all done with your mindless chatter!"

Hesitantly, Nykyrian put his hands up. "I have more of a right to be near her than you do."

He narrowed his eyes. "Kira Shirogane was my charge. I am the one entrusted with helping her in this world, and keeping her safe."

He tossed his head, his hair moving from his handsome, carved face. His dark green eyes held a look of knowing, and skepticism.

He jumped, worry filling his eyes, as Shiro gasped in pain. Even unconscious, her wound was still agonizing. "K-Keon..."

He put his gun away. "Of course, she asks for him." He looked at them again.

"You aren't qualified to protect her. You do not know how to properly guard a United States Ambassador."

Zen continued to ride with Shiro on the horse heading into the city, "Sorry Girl, but you need medical attention we can't just stand there and let him talk.." Jason narrowed his eyes, "United States Ambassador or not. we are all now just the same as everyone else, the world is torn to shit, it's a Zombie apocalypse. And wait.. you said. Keon?... Oh god... why would they entrust my brother with protecting a United States Ambassador.." He shook his head, as he kept his aim, "Well... now we all just need to get to the Hospital... alright?" Jason looked at the male wondering if the male would just agree with heading to the Hospital, with Shiro and Zen would be waiting, Zen getting to work immediately patching up her wounds in the medical facility, though he always kept a sharp eye out, he cleared the floor they were on of course, as he ran back into the room and sheathed his Katana, and continues to work on her.

Emily found herself staring at the man, a small smirk on her face. She didn't really know what exactly was going on. Something about a US Ambassador? She found that pretty cool of course, but she was more interested in the people she was now interacting with. She slowly stepped forwards after they finished their conversation and pointed. "Hey, Zen already rode off with her. She is bleeding, we need to get to the hospital... That bastards known for killing people who feel sick, or are hurt..." She huffed remembering what happened to her mother. She also didn't realize the language she was using, this was all new from her. Mainly the agression towards her uncle.

Nykyrian then noticed her wound. "Shit" he swore. "If we can get her somewhere safe, I know how to do field surgery."

He then turned to the woods. "Where's that damn...." He let out a shrill whistle, and a brown horse ran from the woods. "There you are." He said as he swung up onto the saddle.

"Wait" he said. "Keon was your brother?" He asked. He raised an eyebrow. "I must admit, the man was a great bodyguard. He kept her safe for years. She always seemed to favor him."

He heard Emily. "He will not kill her!" He said then rode off after them, Guren running by him.

He wasn't going to try and argue her that her uncle wasn't really evil, he was killing someone who wasn't going to make it period, as he looked at the male "Yes.. please come with us. we can all survive together.. the more the better.. I believe that is our best option, to begin with.." Jason then picked up running after him, and running after Zen, Endo followed behind keeping up with the horse and the other dog "Hurry now Emily!"

Nykyrian was following them closely. When they reached the hospital, he pulled out the sword that had been given to him by Shiro to hold before they'd been separated.

"Is the building clear?" He asked. "Is this a save haven or uncleared area?" He followed Zen inside, jumping down from the horse.

He sighed. "I need gauze, morophine if you can find it, and sterile needles, scissors, and thread." He said. "I've been trained to do this sort of thing, in case the assassination attempts ended with her getting hit."

He mumbled. "Though I do believe Keon was taken off of her case because the assassins were caught...I don't know why they put me through the torture of guarding her and letting emotions build up." He said to himself before turning back.

"Hurry" he said. "Please."
