Yeah, no kidding. It's a shame, though. Maybe they might revive it or create something similar and different? The ... uhm ... video makes it look tempting at least.
Wow, that's awesome!just found one of my favorite articles on agriculture in prehistoric/ancient europe! it's written by a farmer encouraging people to go back to some of the practices since they're very sustainable, so there's a lot of good practical info as well. link here.
There are some "fruits" that won't be available. Peaches, avocados and apples come to mind. (Don't quote me on peaches. The other two I am sure of.) The reason is that they do not grow "true to seed". This means that if you collect seeds and plant them you won't get the same great taste.
A great tasting apple or avocado from seed is a 1 in 1000 type shot. You can get lucky. If you do, you can only keep growing that taste by splicing cuttings onto a young new tree.
I'm referring back to this topic but I found this. What do you think? Not sure how you mean that, but ...
Indus River
Yellow River
Nile River
All three starting points for the first civilizations.
I see. How bad is it?I am trying to decide how far to time skip. Time skips just kill the whole point of the story.

Well, darn...Folks .... sounds like Googly had computer issues and factory reset his system. He had to create a new account. His new ID is CurrenWalters_is_my_bbg .
That's reasonable. So are you saying that the Yalu River is not great for farming? That's a different location. The Yellow is far better for a Neolithic people. More farmland. The description of the Yalu sounds better for 20th century advances - especially in hydroelectric power. Short river that starts at a modest elevation and goes to the ocean. Ideal for power.
The farmland won't matter at first and they would adapt. Not enough population to be a problem. Think Japan in terms of the environment, military tactics, etc.
