Okay, as the month is ending, putting actual dates on things to get my own ass in gear and get myself situated.

I'll be 100% back in business and performing regular GM duties again by, at the absolute latest, october 2nd. Until then I'll be easing myself back into gear by re-writing secondary pages I find need a re-write, and maybe some standard narrative posts I just wanted to get out there sometime. Baby steps, either way. I'm still getting a bit scatter-brained on and off so don't expect too much lmao. Still, I'll introduce us back into the game by writing a post by october 2nd, hell or high-water and no matter how scrampled I still am at the time.

Again, I know I said this a dozen times by now but I just wanted to thank everyone for their continued faith and trust in me as the GM and I hope we continue an excellent game.

Sounds good to me. Maybe we'll get an Armored Core 6 announcement between now and then.

An Armored Core 6 would be nice. But in the meantime I've been taking advantage of this time to work on one of my projects so this break was good for me.

edited in what I had on a new Ruling Powers overview under 'lore', just decided to get out what I had. Minor retcons/re-clarifications and a new 'big' company which will be utilized in the future, plus some more lore/story data where I thought was needed. More to be done but as I said, just wanted to get out what I had.

To help get some specific players' sub-plots into action, *winking intensifies* I think I'll drop some prose in the main story thread just as an aside before we get back into action. Just to provide more setup and context to things that'll happen in the future, you know. Please expect that before october 2nd. I hope everyone have readied themselves to continue the game and look forward to getting back where we left off.

OK, consider us tentatively back in business for today, and fully back in business by tomorrow. I'll be continuing all standard GM duties from now on and all that. Anyway, since we're in a funny spot right now and if you aren't sure what to start writing (much like I am lmao), just talk about it with me however you please and we'll figure out where to specifically resume the game.

So, just as a specific OCC reminder to what everybody is doing and for full disclosure:

TEAM A:
Ya'll are currently in seperate plot-streams and seperate parts of the tunnel right now, and here's all you're doing since last time.
Malphaestus Malphaestus Streuben has come up against a part of the tunnel littered in anti-tank mines, likely set to sympathetically detonate and take out the whole tunnel as soon as one is tripped. Thankfully, the ceiling is free of the mines and the Emperor should be able to hover/vault over them. Since the Emperor is in the main tunnel, it's likely there's plenty of nasty things immediately afterwards.
YsFanatic YsFanatic Adam has just got done RIPPING AND TEARING two TYPE-INACHI Ersatz-Neural-Combatants and getting a team of power-armor-troopers to stop bothering him, continuing on his way to the location of the SoZ' hostages with an eye to continuing to cause a big ruckus. Since he's in the tertiary tunnel, there probably isn't too much resistance immediately coming, but tempered with the fact he's been the one directly fighting the enemy (With vigor, at that!), reinforcements are probably headed his way.
Aldur Aldur Fosse has entered his assigned entrance tunnel and has been greeted with a whole lot of spooky nothing in particular, but, there's believed to be plenty of traps situated around the tunnels, so he should be on the lookout.

TEAM B:
Start of the operation, the two have just met their first oppoenents of this mission, a trio of combat drones fitted for ground pounding the water purifier facilities. The drones are focused in on Raijin and appear to be leaving Samaritan alone, but the other members of the drone-wing are doing their best to close in and will likely be a pain in the ass. Thankfully, though, allied fighters are supposed to intervene ASAP and help to clean house. Furthermore, the leader of the enemy, the large-scale gunship, is missing but was believed to be heading east to reload its weapons; if they could find it it'd probably be very vulnerable.

TEAM C:
Still in the prologue of the operation; the fireteam has stealthily inserted into the combat zone and are still discussing the optimal course of action. The enemy has spread out between the two landing ships, with each ship being a focal point with some stragglers between them. There's a couple allies to help intercept any runners or any cruise missiles that manage to launch, but they need to thin out as many as possible and make sure the enemy is crushed. The leader of the allied forces has specifically requested that the landing ships be the last enemy to be destroyed, if at all possible.

I believe I was waiting for the other two members of my team to make some progress before I did anything else.

Got very distracted today but hunkering down to write stuff as of me posting this.

Edit: Cranked out something short and sweet, dialogue focused. Operation-specific stuffs coming in either later today or early tomorrow. Thank you all for your patience!

Thanks for the icebreaker, Viper Actual Viper Actual

I started writing a post last Sunday, got a few paragraphs in, and just... couldn't... finish... it. I kept coming back to it all week, edited some things, added some things, took away some things, but it just wasn't coming together. It was a weird feeling. I think I subconsciously didn't want to go first.

I've seen RP's come back from hiatus before and I don't think the first poster gets enough credit. It's a weird headspace to be in. So, hats off to you. :)

Sorry for being absent. I was having my own issues in actually doing things too. As anonymouse said, even as GM it's really hard to get a ball rolling again lmao

I just went "Fuck it" and wrote a post, lmao. Been real busy these past weeks but I had four days off just now with plenty of time to spare.
