Zoku Haishami

It was hot and dramatic day for Mugen, to start off with when he awoke he was bothered by a bunch of his underlings asking for him to judge their new findings. No matter what the kids brought to him sometimes, even the most odd of things for example that morning they brought him a half rotted away fish. Mugen often thought they did it to get a reaction out of him, trying to not let that happen he'd always act surprised, say it was great and get them away as quick as possible just in time for bed again. Or was it? No, of course not. A messenger bird, most likely to remind him of his duties as the Kage chirped at his window bearing a message. Mugen took the message, unfolding it and reading it, the message was 'Don't be late, again...Sincerely, everyone that works for you.' blinking a few times. "Those office ladies scare the hell out of me" thinking about the last time he was late, they had scolded him. Despite being one of the strongest Shinobi living he looked at these women as the most frightening thing he's ever faced. Rushing to get his clothes on, looking back to his bed it was only at this time he realized a woman sleeping in his bed, he begun whispering to himself "Oh shit, how bad did I get last night?" he wondered to himself. Tip-toeing his way out taking his sword with him he got the rest of his clothes on while leaving. Rushing to the kage building, he remembered why he couldn't be late..Fighter's had often come to Zoku to challenge him, since he was revered as great swordsmen many tried proving their own skills against him in sword combat. Today was an example of this, another challenger with a straw hat on his head approached, a group seemed to crowd around and by Zoku's surprise most of them were cheering on the challenger. The man seemed to be no more than the average samurai and spoke few words besides "I've come here to challenge and beat you, Sleeping Dragon." the man was taller than Zoku, and had a rather dull style of fashion. Wearing a casual brown kimono and wooden sandals similar to Zoku, they stared each other off for a few moments.

Zoku snickered at the man "Right, beat me? Don't think so high of yourself yet." and with a cocky smirk, he started the fight by quickly unsheathing his sword and appearing at the samurai with a flurry of orthodox movements he also incorporated his kicking, however each strike he sent seemed to be genuinely evaded by the man with simple steps before coming down with a heavy strike, Zoku avoiding that with a one handed cartwheel to leap over to the side he avoided the attack and come back again with more strikes only to be evaded yet again.

tumblr_inline_n6h99vKr9Q1rccpin.gif
The fight went on like this for about ten minutes, until the man had finally managed to scratch Zoku's cheek. Looking back with piercing eyes towards the Samurai he grit his teeth, knowing he underestimated this greatly he decided to show him a little more respect from here on "Well, you're not half bad old man..Time to step it up I guess." he said before taking a deep breath and darting back towards the man in a flash again, throwing strikes which the Samurai seemed to keep up with despite it's unpredictable pattern. Zoku increasingly got faster and faster slowly as he continued to send a flurry of strikes, trying to keep the man on his defense while Zoku kept on his offense to figure out a new strategy. After a few moment's of thinking he came up with a solution, although it was a pretty reckless idea he was able to pull it off. Stepping on the man's foot in order to swing the man's light and swift movements failed him for a second. Which proved easily enough time to get hit, unfortunately for the man his strike was critical as Zoku became rather irritated throughout the match. Digging his sword's blade into the man's shoulder, the wound left behind would have disabled this man's fighting for a very long time. Falling the ground in pain and agony Zoku swung his sword through the air in order to clean off the blood before carefully placing it back in his sheath. "You did pretty good, if you got me my head would have went clean off.." he explained to the man before lightly patting his back chuckling a bit. Looking back to the crowd who seemed some what shocked about how far Zoku took things. His rather agitated mood earlier seemed to fade away once delivering 'payback'. He walked back towards the Kage building where he would start the worst part of his day..The paper work.

(This was originally not meant to be as long but you know..It happens :3)

Rin Hagane: Haganekagure, Kage Building bedroom

Rin woke up with a groan holding her head, a hangover headache being the main cause. "
That was one hell of a party.." She muttered. A victory party, no less, for a group of shinobi that were about to be marked as missing returning on a high paying S-class mission. Of course, Rin being the person she is, couldn't go against celebrating with them. Especially seeing as she herself was extremely worried about them. Groaning once more and looking around bleary eyed she padded over the her closet and grabbed an outfit before trudging to the bathroom and setting about with her morning routine which ended up in her kitchen making breakfast and a fairly large pot of coffee.

Once she was done cooking it all, which was really a meager breakfast of bacon and eggs, she sat down and groggigly set about eating it. It was quiet clear, even without a sake induced hangover, Rin was not a morning person. After eating and drinking her coffee she almost walked out of her room and into the main building, almost. She noticed it felt a little cold, not to mention she forgot to get her sword and hat. Looking down it quickly became apparent as to why she was cold, in her hazy state she'd forgotten to get dressed entirely. "
Well.. that could of been bad." She mumbled to herself before walking back to her bathroom where she'd left her clothes and actually getting dressed this time, not that what she normally wore was far off from being completely naked, but clothes they were nonetheless.

After she was finally actually dressed and had her hat and sword she walked out of her bedroom and to her office, sitting in the chair and kicking up her heels as she did, ready for the days work..pfft.

Senki Tazuya: Outskirts of Kaigangakure

Senki hummed happily to herself as she walked through the forest. She'd been traveling for quite some time without coming across anything that could be considered a worthwhile village, taking up little more than insanely easy healing jobs that barely paid anything worth it. Infact, she accepted food and board instead of money for how little it paid. She smelled saltwater on the air faintly, a while away, but a faint smell nonetheless. Deciding to rest for a bit she found the nearest preferrable shady tree and sat down below it, leaning against it with a sigh. "
Maybe I'll get lucky and find a fishing village. At they very least I could catch some fish to eat.." She whined, her stomach growling soon after, which illicited a groan from her.

She regretted opting to be a traveling medical-nin rather than staying in her own village. But such was life and the decision had been long made, besides she couldn't exactly go back to the place after calling it a run-down hell hole and storming out now could she?

@Sinister Clown (If you wanna send NPC since she's near your village) or @ anyone else in the village for the same reason.

~Sayaka Honda, the Chuunin Building~

Sayaka woke up early in her room and had been fretting around, looking for....well....everything. Her clothes were scattered on the floor. Her katana had been tossed aside in a corner. There was another Chuunin in her bed.

Wait....what?

Sayaka let out an alarmed (and high-pitched) scream and, without really thinking, hit him across the head with the belt of her kimono. She grabbed her clothes and put them on, then raced out of her bedroom.
Just how much sake did I have last night?! Obviously a lot...AAAAHHHHH.....

Okay, Sayaka, take a deep breath. She did and felt much calmer. Now let's pretend that that never happened and get some breakfast. Okay? Okay. She stepped into the kitchen, searched her cupboards, and found some eggs. She began cooking, and as she did, began to feel a little better. She ate her breakfast and walked outside.

((How's this?))

Uta Uchiha

Another foul day in a disgusting world...That's the thought that always ran through his head in the morning from the moment he opens his eyes to see the Sunshine before setting it back to the one of the small stall owners on the side of the streets. They were there to buy some fruit, Uta packed his bag and in the middle of buying them he seemed to daze off into some fantasy. He'd always come back after a few seconds, handing what money had to be handed over he walked back somewhere. Shoving his way through a bunch of people he waved his hand to a woman of innocent appearance "Hello there, I got snacks" he said with a gracious smile on his face. She was Uta's partner of sorts, he chose to tag her along to help him look for more members to join with him and their first look was going to be through the outskirts, Other Rouge Shinobi.

The Red Princess

The decieving girl sat leaned against a wall of a building as she awaited Uta's return. He said something about getting something to eat, which made her mentally roll her eyes. She didn't feel like eating, really, she would like to charm one of these damned citizens into being her toy for a while. The one she had now was almost broken. Sniffling and drowning in his own tears... It made her feel nice and tingly.

She looked up at Uta as he approached her, bearing food; ugh, fruit...

"No thank you, i'm not really hungry." She said. His brain better have not gone to mush, she hated anything that didn't come from a dying, bleeding creature. She smiled oh so sweetly...

"Could we get a move on now, though?"

Kien Mozubshwa

Kien, as always, was already awake before the sun even cracked past the mountains around the village, the birds barely even awake to start their morning chirps, the lazy winds slowly breezing past the quiet and still sleeping village. Of course, Kien was already up and at it. In his house, another person was residing inside, a much smaller and more childish person, Kien's daughter, Lelía. (Have her for things such as interactions, hostage, etc.) Kien was smiling as he looks inside her room, making sure that she was still asleep. Gently closing her bedroom door behind him, he quickly dresses up, his beautifully engraved sword resting in its sheath, his black uniform addressing his high status in the village. His black hair was set into its usual style, coarse and fair with a decent and casual look to it. He opens the door to his house, and just as he was about to go out, little Lelìa walks out of her bedroom, her sleepy little eyes focusing onto her dad.

"Hey, you don't have to go to work already, right?"

Kien smiles, kneeling down to his child, his hands passing through her hair.

"Hey now, dad's gotta pay the bills somehow. Besides, I'll be back in time to get you from school. And then, I'll take you to go out for dinner. How does that sound?"

Lelìa's little eyes sparkle as she smiles widely, showing her two missing front teeth, her new teeth already growing in.

"Yeah!"

Kien laughs, picking up Lelìa by the chest, zooming around in the house with her above his head, before going into her room, and laying her down on her bed.

"G'bye dad."

"Gnight sweety. Don't forget to get up to go to school."

And with that, Kien was gone, the villages fastest ninja vanishing from his house.

--

Just a few feet away from the door of the Kage, Kien was outside, waiting for his Kage. Kien smiles, giving Zoku a stack of finished paperwork.

"I did you a favor, and did half of your paperwork for you. And before you ask me what's the pitch, Lelìa has been really wanting to see you, so I told her that I would take her out for dinner. And of course, I'm inviting you, so I took a bit off your plate so you can make it."

Misaki Yamaguchi

Haganegakure - Genin

Having returned back from one of her few B-Ranked missions, of corse grouped with a handful of experienced Chunin, they arrived back at the village for no casualties and only 1 wounded which surprisingly wasn't herself. Upon arriving at the gates, Misaki's serious and focused character quickly broke to her lovable cheery self. They'd gotten back to the village at the break of dawn, approximately a day and a half earlier than anticipated but of corse no one was complaining. "Now to get our money reward and get some well deserved ALL YOU CAN EAT KOREAN BBQ!" Rallying the rest of the team, it was quite funny due to the fact that she wasn't anywhere close to team captain but she seemed to get them rather hyped. No one really talks about what shinobi eat on a mission and unless you packed for the trip, which most don't, or have an amazing cook, in her case they didn't, or stopped in a village, not enough play time, you don't really eat the most fabulous of dinners..

Walking through the village, it seemed that everyone was just about getting ready to start the day, a few of the academy students waving and greeting the returning shinobi from their mission. Of corse Misaki having to wave back to the tiny children. I remember when I was still in the academy, oh those terrible memories.. Once arriving to the HQ(?), the team leader knocked on the door of the Kage while Misaki simply took the window before promptly letting herself in. She did all of this without the leader noticing her disappearance, you should've seen the shock on his face when he saw her sitting rather comfortably already in the room..

@Defective Kitten

Rin Hagane, Haganegakure Kage Building

Rin had dozed off in her chair with her hat covering her eyes, her feet still propped up on the desk. To say the least, the knocking on the door startled her, causing her to jolt awake and her chair to roll out from under her followed by her crashing to the ground with a thud. "
Come in." She muttered, pushing herself off of the ground. As she did she noticed Misaki sitting in one of the chairs she had lining the room across from her. Great, she probably saw me fall out of my chair. Oh well.. She thought to herself before adjusting her hat and rolling her chair back over to her desk, promptly sitting down afterwords.

"
Mornin' Misaki. Didn't expect to see you back so soon." She told her with a smile before addressing the team leader in the same manner. "A day and a half early, certainly deserves a bonus." She commented, taking the mission scroll from him and stamping it completed, putting it in her desk drawer to be sorted later. Taking a payout form(not..sure how you get paid normally so going with this!) out of the drawer beside it she wrote down the details of the mission in brief followed by the reward. "One hundred and ten thousand Ryo, bonus of thirty included." She told them, placing the form on the table.

"
Keep up the good work and you'll definetely make Chuunin in the next exams." She told Misaki.

Kaito Hakeda- Haganegakure's ninja academy

" Man, I hate creating the lists for the new Genin teams especially when they are this many Genin and no one failed the final exam, not even once! this new generation of shinobi is going to be the best one we've had in ages"

Duke continued organizing the teams based in abilities and strengths and when he finally finished he remembered he was one of the Chunin exams organizers and after he gave the lists to the Haganekage he had to go to a Chunin exam meeting. Duke kept walking toward the Kage's office and when he arrived he opened the door and saw that the Haganekage was talking with some other team.

Duke waited for the team to finish and the he walked towards her and said:" Lady second, I've finished the list for the new Genin teams you ordered me, I have the results of the final exams for the academy and the rankings based in abilities as well if you want to see them."

Misaki Yamaguchi

Haganegakure - Genin

Misaki happily sat in the chair that was already arranged in front of the Kage, noticing her production of paper work or rather lack of. Of corse she wasn't one to judge based on how she, herself, would deal with the abundance of paperwork. Instead of saying anything about her almost falling out of her chair, Misaki continued with her smiley self, especially when the Kage greeted her. "G'morning!

(not actually sure what I'd call her..)" Returning her greet as she was cut off from saying anymore when the captain came in with a deathly glare from doing something improper like coming in without the rest of the team and especially through the window. She'd defiantly get a scolding for this later, lovely.

After hearing the amount they would get payed plus the bonus of coming back early, Misaki's eye's lit up from the amount they'd get in total. That was enough to get as many all you can eat's as you wanted! Even when she divided up by the amount of people in her group, she'd still have enough to eat and sleep well. (1 ryo is 10 yen and 10 yen is $0.08) "Chunin exams.." Repeating after the kage in a dreamy daze, one day she'd be able to retake the exams that she'd missed for the past.. 5 years, whoopsy! "Do you really think I'll pass?" Asking her in an excited outbreak. Of corse the reason why she'd missed the past 5 years was either do to oversleeping, being on a mission, training to become extra prepared(of corse that didn't matter since that always change the exams), not having a team, not being eligible, or simply wussing out but she was determined to definitely go no matter what next time.

"Oh! Hello Kaito Sensei~!" Greeting him with her ever so good-lucky smile. She was one of his students for when she was still in the academy, he was.. like a hollow empty cold brick... But he was a wondering teacher so of corse she couldn't complain. Hopefully he wouldn't nag her about missing the exams for the past few time.. Hehe.. Of corse missing out on the opportunity to do the exams meant she couldn't become a Chunin which also meant she could only do few selected B-Class missions but of corse A-Class missions were out of the question due to her incompliancy(<- Is that even how you spell it .-.).

Musashi/ Hananegakure Kage building

Musashi made her way through the village of Haganegakure, she moved with a purpose, after all, she had return from a casual patrol. She only came to report the all clear to the Kage, she had no love for the village she served. However, she didn't hate them for past transgression on her people after all the current kage father had a hand in their subjugation .In some silent sick twist, his passing gave a silent hope a rebellion could be staged, but those dreams were silents when his daughter by fair a powerful woman in her own right took over.

Thus, for now, they kept their heads bowed, Musashi would have begun to make her way inside the office building. And began to head toward the Kage room, though with a glance she could see it already was holding an audience, she would quickly compose herself into a professional mindset and nature. She simply stopped a few steps outside the Kage room , she spoke in a clear tone,"Musashi Kaga reporting in Kage Rin Hagane, My unit patrol yield nothing worth of note. A few wood-be bandit gangs dispatched , Do you have any more order Kage Rin ?". she asked her demeanour had turned serious while she was reporting in.She made light eye contact with the others in the room but only a glance, she was never sure where she stood when it came to another native of the Hananegakure ninja. Perhaps she felt they looked down at her, or maybe that was just her being paranoid in some sense.

Rin Hagane, Haganekagure Kage Building

"Of course ya can, if you don't miss them again." She teased. "If you keep practicing you might get as good with Steel Release as I am." She added on a more serious note. Soon after she said that Kaito arrived with the academy results and such. Paperwork, nice. She thought to herself. "Good work." She told him. "I'll take a look at the results too, might as well get it overwith, I'll have to look at them later anyway." She added.

If there was one thing she absolutely hated about being Kage it was the sheer amount of work involved, namely paperwork. Hours upon hours mindlessly reading and processing papers. Of course, most of the time she neglected to do it, but she eventually had to do it anyway and usually in mass amounts due to waiting. But unfortunately if she didn't the village would eventually fall into disrepair due to lack of missions, so sadly she had to endure it.

A little bit later Musashi showed up. Rin sighed as the girl seemed too worried to actually come into the room. "
Nah. Good work Musashi." She told her before thinking for a bit, then it hit her, the perfect or almost perfect means of shirking her duties if only for a while. "Actually Musashi, how about you come with me, Kaito, and Misaki after I'm done here for some lunch? Take a break and relax for once. Even if you're only helping out due to some agreement my old man made with you guys you still help out more than you realize." She asked her soon after. Of course, to anyone that knew her they'd know her ulterior motive to this would be so she didn't have to do her own work for a while longer. She silently hoped no one would catch on.

Kaito turned back and he saw one of his former students, Misaki Yamaguchi: Oh hi Misaki, I hope you're doing a good job in your missions and that you like the team I assigned you. Kaito smiled at Misakiand then he whent back to the Haganekage:" I'll see if I can join you for lunch I have a meeting about the Chunin exams, if I get out early I'll go with you for some lunch. Duke kept silent for some seconds and then he added :"My lady regarding the Chunin exams the 5 Genin team leaders from Haganekagure have already presented their students for the exams as well for the Jonin of Kaigangakure have presented theirs, you were invited as well to see the final rounds of the exam and helps us in the desition of who deserves to be a Chunin"@Mitchs98 @Defective Kitten @Kinzu Hekmatyar

Musashi would gaze at the Kage for a moment as if she was processing the question or rather invitation. Musashi wasn't awfully sure if eating with the Kage was a trap of sorts or and excuse for somthing, however in the end mentally she relented. For a fear if she turn down this offer could be seen as a slight, she would give a formal bow to the Kage "If that is what you wish Kage Rin, I look forward to it".she would recover from the bow,n o less tense as she would just listen to Kaito conversation about the upcoming exams. More foreigners in the village would likely call for more security for safety sake, she kept her thoughts to herself.

She felt these Exams was in a way to show off a village strength, to show other nearby villages what to expect if war came . Though she herself never attended the formal exams like the native ninja of the village, there was more silent and in the backdrop exam though it was equal to the normal one just minus all the attention.

Misaki Yamaguchi

Haganegakure - Genin

Misaki gave the kage a guilty smile whilst sticking out her tongue, "I hope to get good enough to beat you one day if I'll be honest." Of corse this was considered a challenge and quite disrespectful to say to someone of higher ranking than you are but, hopefully, Kage Rin was sure to know she was joking, somewhat at least. Mistake couldn't help but awe as Kaito spoke of the Chunin exams, of corse she'd need a team for the exams so she was at a lost there. "I want- no. I will attend this year's Chunin Exams. I promise but if I don't know a team, how would I go about it?" Asking both Kaito and Kage Rin with a determined expression, knowing that the last of her previous teammates from the academy had ranked up already by the last exams.

Her attention of a fish seemed to flip at the mention of food, ALL YOU CAN EAT KOREAN BBQ Were the first thoughts to pop into her head. Shaking her head frantically in agreement to go eat with the kage and now also a pretty lady with stunning eyes that walked in a while ago, Kaito seemed to be on the "maybe" side of the lunch.

Haganegakure- Genin

Ailee ran to the group of Genins gasping for air. She pulled her hair out of her face letting out a grin. "What did I miss?" Still panting as she spoke. She woke up not too long ago and was struggling to make it out of the door. She was too busy training last night with her father that she didn't get enough time to sleep. She examined everyone with her sky blue eyes. Seeing that everyone was prepared to go somewhere. "Did I miss the introductions? I knew I should've woken up earlier but I just lost track of time." She rubbed her eyes waiting for them to reply but it seemed as if they had their minds on other things. She looked at the kage giving her a lazy wave of acknowledgement. "Hello."

Rin Haganekagure, Kage Building

Rin nodded to Kaito, "Good I hope you'll be able to make it." She replied. Musashi was the next to answer and didn't really seem all to thrilled with the idea. Sighing Rin spoke, "It's not what I wish, persay. I was just asking if you wanted to go. You don't have to if you don't feel like it, I won't get mad at you, lighten up." She wished the girl would actually lighten up, especially seeing as her work was done for now. Some people were just like that, she guessed, always tense and un-able to relax around people.

Rin then addressed Misaki "
Well. I'm sure we could work something out for you. There's always bound to be drop-outs if you can't find a team." She told her, laughing softly as her attention seemed to quickly swap from exams to food. Ailee soon came up soon after going on about something to do with the exams. "Oh, no. Don't worry Ailee you didn't miss anything. I was just inviting everyone to go out to lunch once I wrapped everything up here. Would you care to join us?" She asked her.

Hidden Coast Village, Kaigangakure

Soestu Senju-Jounin

It was just a normal day in Kaigangakure for Soestu. There was nothing for the man to worry about, everything was nice and calm. It felt good to be able to relax every once in a while. However, Soestu was starting to get bored. So, he decided to go on ahead and head to the store and waved to the owner as he went to the book section. He looked through the options and eventually found a basic little book on the human anatomy. He happily purchased the book and waved goodbye to the shopkeeper before exiting the store. Soestu continued along his silent stroll with the book in his hands. He eventually found himself near the Kage building and saw both the village Kage and someone else there who he couldn't exactly place his finger on who it may have been. Soestu closed his book and waved the Kage,"Hello there sir. How are you doing?" It was nice to see the Kage out, he's heard about Kage who do nothing but stay in their building all day and only leave when they need sleep.

Zoku Haishami

Zoku already got started on some of the paper work in his building, a woman stood aside from his desk and she appeared to be his assistant. She didn't appear to be much and wore rather average clothing with brown hair that reached a little passed down her shoulders. She stood straight and often glared at the door waiting to greet anyone who might have entered, which she did. One of Zoku's top Jounin entered the room, his name was Kien also known as the 'Black Tiger'. The man slammed a bunch of paper work down on his desk and already started with what the catch was. For a moment Zoku remained silent and glared down at the paper work, raising both of his hands and doing a rather odd gesture as he processed it all.

tumblr_mie495lbYu1rmej6eo1_r1_500.gif

"I see..How is your daughter?" he asked with a questionable tone before dismissing the question entirely. Taking a note from his side and opening it up "Nevermind that, from the sounds it looks like there was some shinobi of unidentified affiliations near our borders..Since you're here I guess this can be your first task of the day..Search for this person and find out their intentions..If you feel something bigger is going on don't be afraid to take immediate action." once he finished talking he looked up to Kien and looked the man in the eyes "If you insist, I'll come to dinner with you and your daughter tonight." moving back on to the little paper work he had left he moved the large finished pile to the side and continued his work. At the time Zoku seemed to busy to talk to the second guest however his assistant greeted him "Hello there, sorry the Kage is busy at the moment" with a slight sweet smile on her face.

Uta mused, the girl was inpatient "Why must you be so rush-rush all the time? At least act like you're having a good time, for me." he said as he gently closed his eyes for a moment as he graciously smiled towards Akahi "I guess it could be interesting to visit Kaigangakure though, I hear that place has a heap of fun things..Parties, festivals..Fight clubs and all those lovely things." his graceful tone seemed rather far-fetched for someone of his appearance. At the time it was hot so he only wore a plain white tank top and his normal pants, his black overcoat being wrapped around his waist at the time he started walking towards the direction of Kaigangakure "Talking about it just get's me more excited."

Soestu Senju-Jounin

Kage Building

Soestu was about to follow the Kage inside until his assistant greeted Soestu. He smiled, refusing to break his peaceful streak today,"Ah yes, the Kage is a very busy man. I'd be more than happy to wait for him to arrive." Soestu then walked over to a wall and leaned against it. He then took out his book before beginning to read once again. He was studying the anatomy of a small child so he better knew how to heal them. It was quite annoying when he had to heal a child who had caused their own injuries due to their own stupidity, but then again Soestu may or may not have had a hand in causing a large lump in the back of the head due to sudden fist to the back of the head. Soestu continued to read regardless and would occasionally look up at the assistant, waiting to be called up to speak with the Kage.

The Red Princess

Akahi exhaled quite hard as he noted her want to get moving, her impatience.

"Oh hush..." She rolled her eyes, "I'm not having a good time waiting out in the hot sun, sitting on the dirt, and attracting bugs..." She said through her teeth as she swatted away another fly.

She squinted at him as he spoke of Kaigangakure. She heard of that place as well, though she wasn't particularly favorable of festivities. The only fun she had was seeing people scream in pain and cry in agony as they gargled on their own--

Finally, they were moving. She stood up, following her partner while crossing her arms.
