Mystery (Music + Skyfilms)

"I'm sure with the right teacher I would be good enough." He said looking back at her, smiling. He stood up and stretched, noticing the kitchen, and realized he hadn't eaten in a couple of days. "I forgot how big the house was. Even if you allowed me to move in, I would still think it would be too empty." He walked over to the kitchen, examining the silver, stainless steel refrigerator.

Eliora smiled standing up, "hungry?" she questioned though she already knew and was walking towards the kitchen herself. "I'd love to have a roommate though, if you need a place i'm always open." She walked around the counter in the middle of the room opening her fridge. "But only if you have the right key.." she added on as she examined her fridge.

He was stunned that she would allow him to stay. "Really? That would be great." He paused for a moment. "What do you mean by the right key?" Sure she had a key for everything, but Adarian didn't quite understand what she meant.

Eliora looked back from the fridge nodding her head from side to side and waving in dismissal, "nothing just talking, so what would you like. It won't be five star but I can promise three." Her fingers drummed on the edge of the fridges steel door.

"Anything is fine." He sat down at a small dining room table, and waited for his food as if he were at a restaurant. "Thank you for being so kind to me. All my life, you have been the reason I never gave up."

Eliora plucked a couple eggs from their container and picked up a pan setting it onto the stove and heating it up. As she spoke she lubricated it's metal surface, a smile on her face, "that makes me feel nice....Thank you..."

There was a newspaper on the table, explaining yet another mysterious homicide. A woman hacked to death by a cleaver several times. Her husband was accused, even though he claims to have been in the bathroom. More on this story to come.

"This guy is still on the loose? Scary."

Eliora looked over her shoulder as she cracked each egg into the pan, "ya, I've been working with their other bodies. Their style of killing, I love it.." She went back to looking at the pan it heating quicker then she thought it would.

"I don't see much of a style of killing. It seems random to me." It was a bad idea to jump on that target. Anyone else but her would stray away from the topic. However Eliora was different. "Thank you so much, again. I really mean it. You have always been so nice to me, I wish I could do the same for you." Still sitting at the table, Adarian folded up the newspaper and set it back to where it was.

Eliora placed four pieces of bread into her toaster which sat on her counter as she pushed a little of the scrambled eggs onto both plates.

"You do, your always nice to me." Eliora looked up smiling just as the bread popped up, each one golden.

He couldn't help but smile. A thought in the back of his head said he should leave now, before Eliora gets suspicious. Of course, he would never hurt her. She was the only one in the damned world that would treat him with enough decency to make him feel normal.

Eliora stepped over to the table placing a plate in front of him before sitting a cross from him.

"I'll get you a meeting with the big guy." She pointed at him with her piece of toast then took a bite.

He took a couple bites of each, savoring the taste of everything. "I thought you said it was only going to be 3 stars." He looked up at her to see if she would smile. He grabbed a napkin, and cleared his face of the bread crumbs sticking to his upper lip. "So, the big guy huh? Well, before any interview, I will need some training."

Eliora smiled, staring downwards at her plate embarrassed.

"Training?" She looked up, biting her lower lip.

"Yea, training. It's something you do to train someone or teach someone and prepare them. D0 you think you could do that for me?" He asked. Adarian was just trying to have fun, which was so alien to him. Hearing her laugh, and seeing her smile, actually brought more life to him than anyone's death.

Eliora nodded, "oh....Really? Everything's so clear now.." She spoke mimicking astonishment and holding a hand up to her chest. But quickly lost the seriousness, giggling. "But ya, I'd love to do that."

He just smiled and finished his plate. "Aww man... the food just dissappeared." He stood up, grabbed the plate, and rinsed it off in the sink. "Can I ask you something? Why do you have such a large house by yourself? If it didn't only have one bedroom, I would be concerned." Adarian sat back down at the table, as she finished. He didn't even understand how a one-bedroom house could be at least 2500 square feet. Unless she turned an empty bedroom into an office.

Eliora stared at their surroundings, "I don't know, I feel less lonely I guess." She shrugged staring down at her plate before standing and rinsing it and placing it in the dishwasher before sitting back down.

"Fair enough." She probably got tired of him asking that question every time they see each other. "Do you have today off? Because if you do, I would like to show you something." He loved showing her the neatest of places. For longer than he can remember, he would bring her to lakes, waterfalls, and other beautiful sights that he finds. It was all to thank her for being such a good person.

Eliora smiled nodding exciting, "of course." She stood up, memories of their past adventures to what he wanted to show her came to mind. Each destination beautiful, "I'll grab a coat." She called out already out of the kitchen, her keys jingling on her side. She unlocked her closet then took out a trench coat, pulling it on before closing the door and locking it.

Adarian checked the time. It was already an hour past noon."Well if we are going to have enough time to enjoy it, and get some training in," He chuckled, "We better leave now."

Eliora buttoned her coat patiently waiting for him.

"Then let's go! Adventure." She smiled rising a hand in the air once she was finished with her coat.

He tried opening the door for her, but like all the doors, it was locked. "Of course." Unlocking it, he let Eliora go first. "Wait, who's driving?" He asked, because it was her car.

Eliora stared at her car biting the inside of her cheek, "well I like surprises so I hope I can trust you with driving." She held up her large ring of keys, her fingers punching the ingle car key.

"Ok, well then you are also going to have to wear a blind fold." It was just starting to pour. He took the keys, opened the passenger door for her, and got in the Driver seat. "Well, I hope it is just as enjoyable in the rain as it would be in the sun."
