Maybe it's because I'm an adult and the show is meant for kids, but every time I'm watching random filler episode of MLP I find my self thinking I could of solved their problem in half the episode. But then that probably wouldn't be as entertaining.

Most of the problems do rely on somewhat obvious moments of stupidity but honestly better then most dramas or "Hero movies" I have watched where the entire story relies on stupid BS happening a lot.
