Kimi blushed a bit more at his response, fumbling with her fingers a bit. "Ah... y.. yes... of... of coarse.. s. sorry that was a stupid question." She spoke timidly avoiding eye contact as if embarrassed by the fact she even bothered to question him about his being there. It should be apparent all the students there had dreams of being heroes. At the very least it should be what most are striving for, though an outlier or two could be within the crowd with much more nefarious motives for being there.

She perked her head up, watching as he offered what was left of of his water. She seemed to fluster up once again real quick as she waved her hands out in front of her almost panicked in response. The notion of drinking from someone else's water seemed strange, particularly that of a guy. It was something typically girls did with guys they might be dating after all right? She lowered her hands trying to be a bit less fidgetty in response.

"I'm good, th... thanks though!" She spoke quite quick to the point trying to save on words she used in response as if to try and leave less for her to say to stumble upon. She looked on as he mentioned a quirk as she looked down in thought. She fumbled with her fingers taking in what he said about his own.

"Th... that seems.... cool... I... I mean there is a lot of stuff you can do with magnetism. Sure... it can be just attracting things to you but you can apply it in a lot of different ways depending on how it functions." She spoke seeming a little uncertain on the choice of words to use, mostly from not being use to interacting with others her age. Still she seemed to ease up a bit speaking up more using her own knowledge to help her find more words to add into it. If there was one thing Kimi had she had some book smarts. Having a 101 level understanding on a wide variety of subjects on how things work in the world could be useful for a lot of unexpected things. She tended to hang out with more who tended to be a bit older then herself if anyone at all. "My quirk... is... um... welll... it's j.... just being able to pick up objects and move them... n... nothing super special... telekinesis... I can't really move all that much stuff." She spoke as if downplaying her own quirk.

Matt pulled back his hand and just put the water bottle in his backpack. His expression changed to excitement, Telekinesis is a great quirk. He was a little jealous because it was basically a better version of his own quirk. "Telekinesis? That's awesome! You can lift anything, you can even lift the metal stuff i can." He kind of quieted towards the end of his sentence. But he quickly changed his expression and tried changing the subject.

"Do you mind if I call you Kim?" He thought giving her a nickname would be nice, especially if he was going to see her everyday, he should make friends with everyone. He then heard the gasps of some of his peers and heard a faint thump. He turned to see what was going on just to see a boy on the ground and another boy with a bird for some reason. Maybe that was his quirk. It didn't involve him.

He looked back to Kimi with confusion, "This might be a silly question but where are we supposed to go? I don't know where anything is." He smiled trying not to be too big of a burden. But he really didn't know where to go and this was the only person he'd talked to yet

Crap, I'm going to be late.

The splash of water as Arya Yasuhiro ran across the newly formed puddles stained her otherwise dry tights, but she paid it little mind. There were a meager two minutes to spare until the doors to Whitewater Academy officially opened to start the new year - and she was late. Now normally, it's expected that a few students show up a little off the clock. Every first day is full of minor mishaps, and they hardly ever go off without a hitch. The thing was...

She was the teacher.

In all her years of being on the job, not once had Arya ever been late to her classes. The schedule was drilled into her mind: 6AM Wake-up. Breakfast. 7AM Prep. Class. How in the world she slept through her alarm was beyond her, but she was not going to allow herself to miss seeing the students enter the gates on the first day. Not a chance.

The looming building of the Academy came into view and Arya let out an exhausted breath of relief when she saw that the students hadn't gone inside yet. Her watch flashed the numbers 10:02 at her in bold red lines. It was slightly later than she'd expected the doors to open, but she could be grateful just this once. She slowed down to a walk as she started to approach the building, deciding to observe the students for a bit.

There were plenty of familiar faces in the crowd, but what interested her the most were the first-year students - specifically Class 1-A. Though Arya hated to play favourites among her classes, the first-year hero course never failed to catch her eye, and this year would be no different. She could pick them out almost instantly. Something tells me that it's going to be an fun year.

As interesting as watching the new students interact with each other was, she had to actually be inside the building to greet them as they walked in. Arya silently slipped away to the back of the building and entered in through the staff door.
Location: Whitewater Academy, Ground floor | Interacting with: Divon Divon As she drew closer to the main entrance from inside, Arya spotted the homeroom teacher for Class 1-A looking out at the stream of kids. She walked over and stood beside him on the side closer to the gates. Crossing her arms, the shorter teacher glanced up at his tired expression.

"Losing sleep already, I see." She hummed. "The year hasn't even started yet!"

Arya could sympathize, though, having spent the whole week before preparing. Hero schools were no joke when it came down to curriculum. She had already prepared a special welcome training for the new students.

Oh god, it was silly wasn't it?!

He's just staring at me...
Why did I think that was a good ide-?
"Never I met a monster such as you, nor do I care if you are one. "

With those words the blond boy started to hover off of the ground, not exactly in menacing manner, but it still took Hibiki by surprise but he kept up his appearance of a no-nonsense monster. Which he was. Is. But the boy floated closer to him their faces unbelievably close but Hibiki kept up the eye contact even with the other boy saying such weird things... Is that how he sounded? suddenly the blond boy lept though him. Literally. Hibiki did everything to keep down his shriek and flinching but he stiffened for a moment, the boy called himself the "Human Spectre" and fell silent.

Suddenly, the Spectre let out a hearty laugh before landing on the ground with a thud. Hibiki let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in, before the boy suddenly patted Hibiki's shoulder with a grin on his face. Hibiki felt like he wanted to die. Was he being made fun of? No, it doesn't feel hurtful or insulting but it was still at his expense, but in a good natured manner. He wasn't used to it. Hibiki scratched the back of his neck in a sheepishly awkward manner when he was called a fun guy, nobody called him that at his old school. The boy introduced himself as Aditya Levin. Hibiki should respond in kind before he embarrasses himself any further. Hibiki wanted to die at this moment.

"Hibiki. Hibiki Kato is what you may call this monster." Hibiki greeted formally with a light hint of a blush on his cheeks even though he was grimacing, he still wanted to die, but not as bad as normally when he feels like this. Hibiki even let out a small smile, why was he doing this? It hurts his face to do it.

She opened up the Maps app on her phone, and turned on the GPS function. No, no, no, this had to be the wrong place. She had somehow ended up in some fight club in some street that was just a letter off from her destination. The blue arrow on her screen turned left, right, ascertaining its position, before realigning itself to face north. She gave a few more futile taps, as if it would change the truth that she had found her way to the school that she was about to spend the next few years in. She inhaled deeply, and trying to make her expression show as little disdain as possible for the scuffle going on at the school grounds (on the first day, no less! What brutish apes did they let in here?), and sauntered right past. She allowed herself one glance behind her, then quickly turned back, not out of fear of being discovered, but out of a growing sense of despair. The albino musclehead was now talking to a bird, as if the creature could understand human speech. The more time passed out here, the more her expression was beginning to betray her. And why the fuck were there so many immigrants? Half of them, no matter which direction she looked, looked Asian. Probably had one of those hard-to-pronounce names like Fukuyama or something like that. It was hard enough trying to remember every Rider name as is, and now she had to deal with a classroom full of names that lasted 4 syllables and above? Jesus H Christ on stick. She was beginning to feel unwell.

She was broken out of her reverie, if one could call it that, when someone tapped her on her shoulder. She turned around to come face to face with a young man in a suit that stifled even her. She nearly choked on how formal he looked. And in this unforgiving weather! How he had survived this long to wander in through those gates so far was truly a question for her. He, however, also had a question for her.

1-A as well? I’ve only just arrived her myself, I wouldn't know.” She pushed a lock of hair behind her ear, and gave the young man a second once over. He was impeccably dressed- she would almost go on to say that he was much too overdressed. Well, he was better off overdressed, than to be underdressed. Or acting like a complete fool. She willed her eyes from wandering away from the young man, and steeled her gaze. The combination of his expression and his clothing could only mean that someone forced him into that sweltering suit. She pitied him, she really did. Perhaps, for that reason alone, she deigned herself to interact with the poor boy. “I can only assume you’re to be my classmate. The name’s Claudia. Think I could join you to look for 1-A?

Really? The one person in this entire amorphous mass that Fischer had to talk to was a hot chick? Crap. Unlike most parents, Fischer's didn't tell him about girls, birds, or bees. So he decided to treat her like one of the guys. Not that he had much experience those either.

"Oh. Well. I'll find it eventually. Maybe." He put his hand back to his tie, this time just stripping it off. He was so over this effing suit. As he did, Fischer noticed Claudia giving him the elevator eyes. So he did the same for her.

She was rather attractive. Admittedly, Fischer had no idea what to do with that information. He filed it away for later use.

He peeled off the suit jacket and undid most of the upper buttons on his button down. His visage softened even further as he did, and a breeze was finally allowed to bestow healing coolness across his slightly soggy form. Had to enjoy the little things in a life like his.

Fischer smiled slightly when she introduced herself, and his formal posture dropped. An introduction. He could work with that. Fischer stretched his hand out to her.

"Claudia? Fischer. Looking as a unit sounds better than seperately. After you?"

"Uh...-" She'd replied. Definitely not part of the plan. Definitely concerning, too, she'd thought her body acting skills better than this. Was it not clear that she wanted to take flight, dance amongst the crowds and continue her journalistic game of red-light, green-light? Supposedly, no, it wasn't. But she'd at least fallen for the lie.

"-Yes! You too." She wasn't the type to miss a beat, though, snatching up the other girl's, no, snatching up Emvi's hand and giving it a vigorous shake to fill the momentary mental gap that formed as she cobbled together an answer to her unexpected question. "Well, er, a lot of..." Pulling her hand free with as much speed as she'd engaged it, Stella gestured over the girl's shoulder and towards the freshly concluded brawl at the school gates. "That? I suppose. It really depends on the weather. Firey seasons like this really tend to get the blood pumping and spirit burning. It's both a blessing and a curse, I think. If you're not partial to craziness, I'd recommend skipping class until winter." That was definitely not good advice, but it wasn't like she was actually her senior. Responsibility wasn't her problem to deal with. Or maybe it was? It definitely seemed like a decidedly unheroic thing, telling a young impressionable things like that.

She'd work on it in the future.

For now, she set to dancing her fingers across an image captioning app and christening her latest photograph 'Emvi Square', before she returning her attention to the real thing.

"I'm not exactly an expert, though. That cliche of the all-knowing newspaper club member doesn't really apply here. Or maybe it does. I don't know. I just take the photos. If you ask around you might be able to find yourself an expert better versed in the subject." Was that a strong enough hint? "Er. Probably will, I mean."

She could only hope. This chat had already come at the cost of her documentation time, and being late to class on the first day would definitely be bad news.

"Hibi, then," Aditya nodded hearing his name. The boy was a bit awkward, but good natured. At least that was his impression of him. His quirk was a bit unsettling, but it wasn't like it was anything bad; Quirks didn't determine the person owning them. It did, however, affect the stigma attached to the person owning them. Hibi calling himself Monster might be related to that. He didn't wish to pursue the matter, however. It would be too rude of him.

"Want to look for class together? It'll be better than alone. You are in the hero course, right?"

It would be nice to know someone in his course before school started. Even better, if they would be in the same class. It would made things easier afterward.

Whitewater Academy, School of Infinite Fights and Terror. An absolutely terrible life as an alternative to this was seeming better and better by the minute. Even so, it was a bit too late to back out. After all, Emvi was a few dollars short of a bus ticket.

Even so, the girl tried her best not to seem fazed by the "senior's" analysis of the academy (she seemed very fazed). "I-I see! That sounds about...Normal for this sort of thing, doesn't it?" she replied, attempting to write off the entire situation with a nervous laugh. No, Emvi, that probably wasn't normal. As her attempt at a cool and normal demeanor rapidly began to fail, Emvi, too, began to try and work her way out of the conversation, perhaps only partially aware of the delicate social dance going on on the other side of the conversation. "I'll uh, I'll definitely ask around, but um...Thanks for the advice either way!" she reached up, rubbing the back of her head with great and noticeable intensity. Oh, jeez, I just blew my first conversation, she thought to herself, letting out another nervous laugh, seemingly out of nowhere. This school was already panning out to be a bit too much for her.

"Oh, before you go," Emvi suddenly said, blinking as she partially snapped out of her previous embarrassment. It was still there, of course, but she had at least managed to pull herself together just enough to talk a touch of "business" on her end. "You wouldn't happen to know where Class 1-A is, would you? Assuming we're supposed to go to our classes first thing, um, or is orientation held somewhere else, generally?"

Alex was feeling particularly overwhelmed today. she had no desire to speak to anyone. It was her first day in a new country, at a new school. She had moved of her stuff in with her aunt, and she would be leaving anything she couldn't keep at the school dormitories there. Even though she had the power to create fire from her body she felt hot today, the intense heat scorched her skin. She wished she had worn sun screen, but instead here she was dressed in mildly uncomfortable school uniform. She kept walking down the street towards the academy. She hoped she wasn't late but she she also wasn't hurrying herself. She felt that it was better not to rush herself and end up bumping into someone and embarrassing herself. Her quirk was already weird enough as it was, she didn't need people to think that she was any weirder.

The pale yellow flames sprouted out of her back, it seemed that the school had followed her request and weaved a fire resistant material into the school uniform so that her back wouldn't combust every time her wings felt like they wanted to show off her emotions to the world. She reached back and gave her wings a few pats as if she was trying to put out the fire. The flames dulled a little and eventually went away. She sighed and turned into the entrance gate of Whitewater Academy. She looked around. The place was amazing, not as pretty as some of the architecture they had back in Greece but still it was amazing in its own way. It had to be 3 times the size of the middle school she went to when she was young. Alex felt a twinge of excitement, but caught herself and calmed down. She kept on walking towards the entrance.

On her back the pale yellow flame lit again, symbolizing that she was overwhelmed. She reached back and tried to pat out the flame again while she kept walking. Seconds later she slammed into the back of a yellow haired boy who was conversing with a girl about where they were suppose to be. She soon flew backwards onto her butt. "Ouch" She said not knowing what had just happened. She looked up at the boy. Soon her face filled with blush and her wings shot out to their full span, turning into a pink of the same color. "I'm sorry I'm sorry" she said as the flames turned a deeper shade of pink, repersenting her embarrassment.

He gave me a nickname...

That's isn't demeaning or about my quirk...
Is-is this how normal people talk to each other...?
I like it...
Oh...that will probably change though

But I should enjoy the moment.
No matter how short it will be.
Hibiki couldn't help but look thoughtfully at Aditya after being given his new nickname. He didn't feel like he wanted to die. Hibiki's blush deepened slightly, he wasn't used to being given so much positive interaction. People usual found him gross and dangerous. Hibiki bit his bottom lip for a second before speaking up finally after a couple moments. "I approve of the nickname... even if its a bit cutesy for a monster like me." Hibiki said trying to sound serious but his expression -even with the added scary features- looked like he could barely contain his happiness at being given a non insulting nickname.

Aditya asked him if they should look for their class and when he asked if he was in the hero course, Hibiki nodded his head at both parts. Hibiki looked at the crowd up ahead and spoke up. "We should get going, I'll lead, the crowd should give us some space... especially for a monster like me." Hibiki said as he deiced to point-ify his teeth and added black eye like marsk under his eyes mid conversation for added scare factor. Hibiki without much warning started marching up ahead though the crowds, as he expected many of the students once seeing him gave him and hopefully Aditya more space to walk. A few people whispered but ultimately said nothing aloud. Hibiki felt sick from using his quirk so callously but it should save the two some time at least.

It wouldn't take the two too long to reach the main building. And when they did there stood two teachers- Hibiki assumed them to be teachers since they were adults- Hibiki wondered if he should walk up to them and ask them for directions. Hibiki against his better judgement and looked back to where Aditya should be and asked, "Do you want to ask those teachers where 1-A is or do you want to look for ourselves?" Hibiki asked of Aditya, if he was there, he really should've checked if he was there before talking, that whole pointing your teeth mid talk could've freaked him out. Oh shit, did you scare him off?

Dante

"So... I don't suppose you know where Class 1-A is, do you?"

Archimedes preened one of his wings, seeming unable to understand what was being said by his tall, gaunt perch. Dante knew better though. Ravens, as most avid bird-watchers knew, were incredibly intelligent birds, with intellectual prowess often touted as being on par with children and apes. Archimedes, Dante suspected, was smarter than that, though sometimes the clever bird made it hard to tell.

"Okay fine, if you show me where it is you'll get the standard fare..." Dante reached into a pocket, pulling out some kibble treats, which happened to be Archimedes' favorite snack. All at once, the bird straightened up, a rumbling croak of a caw signaling the terms were agreed upon. Flicking one of the treats into the air, Archimedes shot off to retrieve it, circling in the air for a moment before flying into the air to serve as a guide bird.

"I swear that raven is an extortionist..." Dante muttered. Looking around, he noticed that, it seemed, he wasn't the only one that had virtually no clue where they were supposed to go. He debated leaving everyone to figure it out on their own, but... Maybe this was an opportunity to make a better impression? If he helped out the other students, maybe it would soften his image a bit. Well, he could hope, at least.

"Oi... If anyone else is looking for class 1-A, follow the Raven." Dante called without really making eye contact with anyone as he gestured to Archimedes up above. Drawing attention to himself was not exactly something he enjoyed, especially after running into Eric again... OH shit... what if Eric was in his class? That was going to make things awkward as hell if he was... Maybe he'd get lucky and Eric would be in a different class....

He didn't really look to see if anyone followed him. Time was ticking and he didn't want to be late the first day. Sure enough, after following Archimedes he found him sitting perched on the sign for 1-A's homeroom classroom, fluffed up and evidently quite pleased with himself. "Good work Archimedes" He grinned, tossing the second treat into the air for the raven to snatch out of the sky before it could fall.

After enjoying his reward, the Raven flew down once more to land on Dante's shoulder as the Vampire boy opened the classroom door and let himself inside. Given the vacant desks, it was readily evident that no one else had arrived yet. Perfect, as far as he was concerned. It meant he could secure a seat in the back corner by the window without any issue and hopefully not draw any more negative attention to himself. Slinging his bag onto the desk, he opened the window so that Archimedes could sit perched on the window sill and enjoy the subtle breeze it allowed.

He took off his jacket, slipping it around the back of the chair before taking his seat, wondering how many, if any, students had chosen to follow him and Archimedes to the class...

The lines of students were progressing, even with all the chatter and socializing among her fellow students. The thought of getting out of this sweltering heat was a welcome one. And soon enough she finally found herself inside the building. Walking past the teachers at the entrance she looked at the signs to figure out where to go. Other students around seemed to be doing the same thing, or some variation, to find their classrooms. A few, she noticed, were looking for the same classroom she was. She saw a particularly pasty-looking boy heading in the direction she needed to go, so she opted to follow after him. His call about class 1-A confirmed that he was one of her classmates, and that he seemed to know the way. She had no real interest in sparking up a conversation so she hung back on the way to the classroom.

Soon enough they reached their destination and she walked in shortly after the boy. Seeing him take the seat nearest the window she made her way for the back seat furthest away from him. Reaching the desk she threw her back over the back of the seat and, with a sigh, sat down. She folded her arms on the desk and plopped her head down on them. School was a pain as is, tacking on the whole hero aspect was just rubbing salt in the wound. Well, that wasn't entirely true if she was honest. School was her chance at a reprieve from hero nonsense. But even that was taken away. A quiet groan escaped her lips at the prospect of spending the next several years stuck there.

While keeping her head down she slipped an arm out, reaching into her pocket to pull out her phone. She brought it up to face, rolling her head to rest her cheek on her arm as she stared at the screen. With the swiftness only a teenager could possess she thumbed her way past the menu to her photos. Her gaze was locked on the picture, a young violet-haired girl with a black-haired girl on one side and a white-haired girl with horns on the other. She had no idea what they were up to now days, having lost contact when she moved. But no matter what it had to be better than being here. Hell, even being at Whitewater wouldn't be that bad if they were there with her. But they weren't there and she was and she'd have to accept that fact. She turned her phone off and slid it back into her pocket before resting her chin on her arm and staring forward towards the door to see who else came through. At the very least she could see who looked like good candidates to talk to.

Classroom 1-A

As Sun rushed through the gates of Whitewater Academy, she could barely contain her excitement. Finally, all of her hard work would pay off and she'd be able to prove everyone wrong, she did have what it takes to become a pro-hero. Nothing was going to ruin this day, not even the fact that she had overslept.

But when she finally got to the crowd of students, she quickly realized that she had no idea where she was supposed to be headed. Her acceptance letter had said that she was going to attend class 1-A, but it had failed to mention what classroom belonged to that class. But that's when a guy with a pet bird (either a crow or a raven, Sun didn't know nor cared enough about birds to tell which one it was) had exclaimed that everyone in class 1-A was supposed to follow his bird. At first, she hadn't been entirely sure that following him was going to be such a good idea. She couldn't really put her finger on why, but it was something about the idea of being guided through the school by a bird that seemed like a silly idea. But after a weighing her options for a brief moment, she simply shrugged and started to make her way through the crowd in order to follow it. After all, worst case scenario, she'd just waste an extra couple of minutes walking around the school and being late for class because you were led astray by a bird would make for a funny story if nothing else.

To her surprise however, it turned out that the bird had a surprisingly accurate knowledge of the school as it easily lead the small group that had decided to follow it to the correct classroom. Much too her dismay, the bird just landed on the shoulder of it's owner rather than flying away. It wasn't that she had anything against birds, but they weren't exactly known to be the worlds most hygienic animal in the world. Sun considered starting a conversation of some kind with the other students that had decided to follow the bird, but neither of them looked like they were in the mood for it so she simply took a seat on the opposite side of the room from the bird and it's owner, occasionally throwing a quick glance at it to make sure that it hadn't flew away yet.

Kimi looked on, a bit timid as he seemed enthralled with her quirk. He seemed to think very highly of it but in truth it could only carry so much weight. It wasn't as if she could use her quirk to lift that heavy of objects, not to mention she could only move objects so fast. It was far from a perfect quirk. She simply blushed and smiled lightly not being certain how to answer back. Her expression shifted as he suddenly mentioned giving her a nick name. She blushed a deeper shade of red as if not expecting such a thing. She timidly fidgeted with her fingers looking down.

"K... kim? I... I mean.. if... if you l... like." She spoke shyly avoiding eye contact not seeming to know how to respond to being given a nickname. There were very few people who ever really used a nickname for her, typically those few it was far from a gentle and kind sounding nickname. She looked back up as he mentioned about where they were going. She fumbling a bit, tapping lightly at her chin a little timid before finally speaking up.

"I... I think w.. we are suppose to g.. go to our classroom... th... though it got a little c...crowded here. It seems to be clearing up a little now so we could probably h... head in now with any iss...." She was , suddenly cut off as as another girl suddenly came bumping right into Mathew. She looked down, seeing her pink flame wings looking on a bit curiously. She suddenly shook her head snapping out of it. She fumbled forward past Mathew standing near the girl as she was left sitting on her rear after a somewhat rough looking tumble. She looked concerned for her.

"A..a...are you alright, m..miss?" She spoke seeming to attempt to be quite formal with her as she seemed to hesitate a little before trying to offer her a hand to help her up if she needed it.

Re-open to interaction.
Feeling: Impatient, Annoyed.

Tsurei followed the boy with the bird to the classroom despite how dumb this sounded, but probably more because of how she was getting impatient.
There wasn't much choice anyways and the chances of getting duped were better than just standing around looking like an idiot infront of her future classmates.

Does this guy really think his pet raven knows the way to the classroom? Just what is this guy's deal? You break someone's legs, and they come to fight you, now your pet raven has some magical sixth sense? Weren't you lost literally minutes ago? You seemed to completely forget where your class was right after your fight and now you think your raven has an answer. This guy has way more going on than it seems. Please tell me the rest of my class isn't this utterly complicated. I can't analyze a full class of people with this much complexity. I narrowed my eyes and just followed him.

The bird let her to the classroom and fly back to it's owner. Tsurei decided to take a seat in the middle of the class.

Middle of the class. Not at front because then it looks like you are either a nerd or a suck up. But at back you stand out as a troublemaker or a freak.
I don't need to draw attention. I can't afford to. If one person even figures me out I'm completely at their mercy. They can make me do anything to keep my secret and I would have no choice at all. Now where is the teacher? Why is this taking so long. The more I stay here the more terrified I feel inside. I need something to analyze. Something to fight. Something to strike or acknowledge before I go crazy.

With nothing to do Tsurei had no choice but to sit in her seat and wait. Hopefully something interesting would happen soon. She couldn't afford any weakness to the others sitting near. A viper strikes first.

Matt felt a strange thump on his back, it was so out of nowhere that he honestly thought it was something bad, but when he turned around he saw a pretty lady who was a fiery hot, in the most literal sense. She had red flames that quickly turned to pink, her face seemed warm.

"I'm so sorry, I keep getting in the way of everyone today, must be bad luck on the first day." He said reaching out his hand to help her up and using his other hand to grab his backpack that must have fallen on the impact. After trying to help her up he felt really bad, really felt like he was getting in the way. "My names Mathew, but you can call me Matt, and this is Kim" as he gestured to Kimi beside him who also seemed to be kind of shocked.

"Actually, I accidentally knocked Kim over a minute ago," He moved his hand behind his head and just smiled trying not to look like a jerk for knocking over TWO girls. "We were actually about to find the classroom, would you like to join us?" He said while as he pointed towards the doors.

Oooooohh, that wasn't good. Seriously, how bad could her luck get? Of all the people that could've stopped her in this crowd, it just had to be one of her new classmates. Even getting punched in the nose would have been preferable to this. Mmm, okay, now she really needed to think on her feet.

"Actually..." Even as she started to speak, Stella wasn't entirely confident with what she was about to say. "The newspaper does this thing every year, I was told it's some sort of tradition or the like. We, uh, send a member to each of the new classes to document their Quirks and stuff." God, was that even a little believable? No, that didn't even matter. How was she supposed to explain her being in class the next day and the next week and the next month? Aha. With an apology, probably. Really, it would probably be best of her to just come clean right now, quickly and painlessly.

Well, maybe a little painfully, but relatively speaking she'd almost definitely be getting the better deal.

But.

She'd already accelerated, she'd built up her velocity, and her brake pedal didn't seem to be moving. Or, translated, even if she knew it'd be better to end the lie now, her lips just kept moving.

"Really, it seems pretty irresponsible to me. Missing out on the first day of class. If I were in charge of this, I'd have it moved to the second week or something. Everyone would be at least a little settled in then. Much better for the quality of the article, don't you think?" She let out a low, long sigh. Whether it was part of the act or just Stella's exasperation at her stubbornness, she wasn't quite sure. "But, when in Rome you do as the Romans do... Sooo, follow me! I'll lead you swiftly and surely to your- Er, our destination." It was a good thing she was good with directions, at least; The city alleyway network really did wonders for improving one's sense of direction if you made good use of it, as evidenced by her relatively swift navigation to the room. She just hoped she properly looked like she knew where she was going while she was doing it.

Claudia DiamanteUnit? What a strange analogy. She thought to make a comment on it, but eventually resisted the urge to. It was probably nothing. Fischer, as he called himself, probably came from a military family. That wasn’t important, no, the more important thing was that he was polite, and that was downright darling of him. First impressions mattered to Claudia, and he had certainly set a darn great one, which was more than could be said for a certain bird enthusiast. Fischer, on the other hand, even when he started to tear down his suit, still looked presentable, and she caught the slightest of glances at what she recognised as well-toned pecs. He treated the body as a temple, she nodded to herself approvingly- that was a good sign.

There’s no need to stand on formalities, but if you insist, I--” she was brusquely cut off as she was reaching for the door by the albino haired brute from earlier, who seemed to be trying to put on airs by asking others to follow the lead of his bird.

Her expression froze, and her hand seemed to tense up and fall to her side as she watched the disappearing back of the delinquent with the bleached hair. “Follow the raven. Right, follow the fuckin’ raven,” she hissed under her breath. Dear God who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come, your will be done, and why in the fuck did you allow George of the Jungle here, who can't even navigate school halls without the help of a bird, a creature with a legendarily small brain, to exist? If it was a labyrinth, she would understand, but this was an actual literal building. Would it have killed him to have just read some of the plaques on the walls or something? She glanced at the copper plate attached to the wall barely five steps away from the entrance, the letters clearly indicating where the class placements were. The bird had flown down the right way, it seemed.

She turned slightly to face Fischer, trying to rearrange her expression into one of bemused humor. She was sure it was still showing her distaste, as if she had bitten into something repulsive, but nevertheless, it was the best she could manage for now. “R-right. Hate as I am to admit it, the bird’s going the right way.” Fuck. It was a raven. Those were carrion birds, they fed on dead bodies, for chrissakes. That madman was carrying around a good probability of infectious diseases! She felt her breakfast roll in her stomach. Was this allowed? There were probably rules about this somewhere.

In an attempt to try and recover from the trauma and the fact that Raven Boy was probably in the same class as her (she hoped to God she misheard his class), she struck up another conversation as they walked to the class. “So, uh, your parents in military or something? ‘Unit’’s a darn strange analogy to use.

All the while, Emvi nodded along with Stella's every word, as if she were taking in invaluable information. From what she'd been told by the "reporter," after all, the school was basically some sort of hardcore survival simulation. "Hopefully everyone's Quirks are interesting this time around, then, I can't imagine having to sit through that every new year." She offered a slightly apologetic smile, as if somewhat disappointed in her own role in the girl's incoming boredom. "Though maybe it's just the sort of thing that you just, um, get used to after a while!" Much like the entirety of the school, she secretly hoped.

As Stella moved to lead the way, however, Emvi immediately fell silent following a nod and a word of thanks. Despite her worries of the place being a deathtrap, Emvi found herself oddly captivated by some of what she walked past; it was an odd blend of things she was familiar with, and things that she never would have expected. For every hallway or section that seemed oddly normal for a prestigious hero school, there was some outlandishly well-designed and well-equipped facility that quickly reminded the supposed hero-to-be exactly what kind of school she was attending. Of course, they were all empty--everyone was filtering into their respective classrooms, after all--but that simply accented the pure, clean purity of some of the facilities.

Despite her wide-eyed wonder, Emvi forced herself not to comment, not wanting to seem too slack-jawed in front of an experienced student. As long as the girl went unwatched by Stella, however, she spent her time taking in the school's admittedly extraordinary sights.

Maybe this won't be so bad.

In time, however, the nickel tour ended, and the two arrived at a classroom door proudly emblazoned with 1-A's designation. As the two entered, Emvi offered one last thank-you, before glancing around to what sort of seats were still available, before realizing that she should probably also take a look at some of the other people who filled the room. It wasn't as much as she thought there might be, but that simply meant that she wasn't late. The seating arrangement was pretty normal, but for some reason, someone had taken a lone seat in the middle of the desks. Maybe with the rest of the class there, it might have been just another seat, but with no one else there, it simply seemed...Odd.

Maybe she was shy? Emvi started toward the lone girl, briefly looking over her shoulder to motion to the diligent photographer, likely in an attempt to get her to come along. Did it matter where the journalists sat? Emvi shifted onto one of the desks adjacent to the darkly-haired girl, smiling lightly as she sat down and lowered her bag to the floor. "Hi, I'm Emvi," she said, offering a light wave, "hope you don't mind me taking this seat."

Aditya was going to say something along the line of not to; Where would be the fun in that? He still wasn't used to Hibi's weird, changing body. It was like having a shapeshifter next to him; He couldn't recognise him from only physical features. Before he could answer, a boy, also white haired like Hibi, mentioned something about raven, and following it to class.

Sounds interesting! Aditya grinned as he answered Hibi.

"Let's just follow the raven. Sounds interesting, right?"

was he scared? Horrified that was attending such a popular school with very high standards? Absousltey not, Saito was far from it. In fact, the crazy boy was excited to finally attend the school..maybe a little bit to excited. He waited for this day since his parents told him about. Saito long awaited to begin his journey to become a top hero like his folks and restore his family 's name. It was going to be a tough one, but saito was prepared to task at hands, grab it by the horns and shake them..if that made any sense at all. Anyway, he was ready and nothing was going to stop this boy. Not even the prickest of pricks! The hardest of villians. His mind and soul was ready! Well..his soul was but his mind? One would wonder.

so, what was saito doing now? Still asleep in his bed, late like most students of course . Sike! Saito was lounging about in a shady tree on school campus, you know, those trees that be on the sides of the pathway to the of the entrance of school. Anyway, he watched as the students pass by. Some of them where grouped up, getting to know each other..the usual. He heard some interesting conversations and was more even hyped now..even if he wasn't In them, oh well. At least was he was mentioned. " Have you seen that odd boy in tree. " yay! He was noticed! And he was about to make his presence known even more

jumping along the paved pathway was his favorite treat, a large , plumpy brown cricket. By god..he couldn't resist the urge to snatch that piece of heaven in his mouth. Next thing you know, his long tounge lashed at the unfortunate creature and savored his treat. There was a girl who was infornt of his target and screamed abit. " Eeek! Disgusting. "

after gulping down the bug, a large creepy grin came across his face." Don't knock it till ya try it ~ "

Follow the Raven?

.....
Sure, I have nothing to lose by following a corvid.
Hibiki simply nodded along to Aditya's words, he shall play along. In this mysterious raven's game. Hibiki followed the bird and the small crowd following behind it. Hibiki wondered if this creature really knew the location of the class, it seemed really unlikely. But you'll never know life is a mess not just for Hibiki but everybody following this strange shadowy creature of darkness and death.

And the bird arrived to their class in good time... How? Whatever. Hibiki shrugged and just scanned the classroom. Almost everybody who was following the bird was also in the classroom now, and said bird was perched on a student's shoulder. Must be its master. There were a few other students in the room, the bird's master was in the corner farthest from the front door, closest to said door was a girl, and behind her way in the back was a purple haired who was on her phone, and in the middle were two girls talking to each other. Hibiki didn't heed them too much and simply walked past everybody to the window seat in the very front. If he wants to be a hero he needs to be a good student, and being up front will give him better access to the teacher for help and the like. Also he just likes sitting in the front, makes it easier to hear lessons too and less student's whispers.

Hibiki took his seat and rested his elbows on the desktop and placed his chin on his right knuckle and waited for class to start, he wondered if Aditya will sit next to him or else where. Hibiki also wondered who his seat mates will be. He totally forget about his added additions on his features. His large horns, pure red eyes, and black eye like lines on his face. He must look scary, but since Aditya didn't mention it Hibiki totally forget about them.

Fischer snorted a bit when Claudia mentioned unecessary formalities, "I never learned casual, so-" he stopped when he realized Claudia was staring off at a bird. Either a raven or a crow. Fischer wasn't wearing his glasses, so it was a bit fuzzy from twenty feet away.

Could that be a student? Was it possible for animals to have quirks? Or a shapeshifting quirk? Fischer's mismatched eyes followed until it was just a blur amongst students.

Realizing he fell a bit behind, he gave a forced march after Claudia, falling in line right next to her. Left. Left. Left right left. Rinse lather and repeat.

Fischer smiled a bit as she asked about his background. Not the most comfortable subject but Fischer wasn't going to blame her. "Full fledged military brat. Never stayed in one place for more than a month or two. I walk in a military march. I use military vocabulary and write in military block letters. Hell, no one has called me by my first name in years. Superpowered marine, at your service."

Fischer sighed, and found the room they were looking for. He stopped just outside the door, and asked a question in response.

"What about you? Any background basics you want to share?"

Hi, I'm Emvi," "hope you don't mind me taking this seat." Tsurei looked up. Emvi. She said her name was Emvi, huh?

I had no expectation to interact so early. Just why me? I'm sure I don't exactly bring an aura of friendliness. Perhaps an....ally? friend? might not be so bad if i'm careful.
I wonder if she had an interesting quirk. Please don't be a complicated person..'

Tsurei also noticed she motioned another girl over. The photography girl who went around taking photos of everyone. Were they friends?

"I don't mind you sitting there." Tsurei said as she turned around and glanced emotionlessly at Emvi. "Tsurei. My name is Tsurei"
"I suppose you are a first year too" "Do you perhaps have a interesting quirk? I can create and manipulate rocks."

Oh so much more than just creating and manipulating rocks. It's quite powerful. Are you powerful? No...That's not how heroes greet each other right?
You don't greet eachother by telling eachother their quirks do you? With villains they only seemed to pay attention to you if you were powerful or could do something for them. I'll have to relearn how to interact. Perhaps just a friendlier phrase. Something hopeful. Inviting...right?

"Perhaps we can be good friends." "I apologize if I seem mean or anything, I'm not used to interacting."

And ofcourse that journalist friend of hers might be interesting enough. Her going around taking photos...makes me feel uncomfortable..why?
This school is making me feel more and more vurnerable by the second. I should feel grateful? For being accepted in a prestigious school full of people who hate villains? Why don't I feel grateful at all? At this rate I will fall apart. Why did I choose to be here. I wanted to prove them all wrong.

"What do you think the difference is between heroes and villains, Tsurei?" "What makes them better than us?"

Better than us? I don't know about that. But they follow the law...so people will think they are good. We don't...so does that make us bad?
I don't wanna be bad but society worships them like they are Gods. Why does it have to be this way? Why are we so hated? They get paid so much, get liked by everyone and have immense power. So corrupt. Why doesn't anyone see that? Whatever happened to just saving people because it was right?

"I refuse to believe we are worse than them. I think we're just misunderstood; If we could just understand eachother, maybe we could get along."

"Get along? You can't along with these people, they will hurt you and make you out to be a villain and not even try to understand you."
"This dream of fixing society you have. It's just some hopeful wish. But fine. When you grow up, find us, you know where we are. You know who we are.
We'll be watching you, you think you can simply mend the earth, the world like you can with your quirk, but the world is corrupt, you can't shape it into what you want, you can only break it apart, that's why you can't destroy what you create. You hold onto it"

"I don't believe that. I'll prove you wrong. JUST WAIT!"

"You do that little girl you do that."

My own master once told me i was too weak. I know better.

Emvi's brows knitted slightly as she maintained her smile. This other girl seemed like the moody sort; in fact, it was a little surprising that she wasn't sitting all the way in the back.

That's stereotypical Emvi, don't think like that.

Emvi reached down to her napsack, unzipping it and pulling free a simple set of notebooks and writing supplies as she spoke, placing each on the table one after the other. "...Ah, well, it's an okay quirk I guess. I've, um...Never really used it all that much until the entry exam, so I don't know how good it is really," she said as she plucked item after item from her bag. Once she had pulled out everything that she felt she needed for her very first school day, she looked up with a smile, pushing a few strands of hair that had found their way to the front of her face out of the way. "I, um..." she furrowed her brow a little further, thinking of a proper way to phrase her Quirk that involved more general terminology, before clearing her head and giving a firm nod. "...Basically, when I get hit with stuff, I get stronger and faster each time. Basically." Her smile turned into a bit of a grimace. "It hurts, though, which is why I don't know whether it's really going to help me out in the long run or not." An awkward pause followed for a moment. "...But we're both in Class 1-A! So that speaks for...something after all, right?" There was something weird about this whole talking thing. On one hand, it took off the edge of having to deal with the stress of a new school--especially a new school that focused on hero work. On the other hand, conversing with people she didn't know brought with it its own set of pressures. Still, if there was any place worth making a new and better start in, it was right here, right now, on the first day of class, right?

"Perhaps we can be good friends. I apologize if I seem mean or anything, I'm not used to interacting."

Emvi blinked, opening her mouth to respond, though nothing came out right away. She struggled to form words for a moment, taken aback somewhat by the rather blunt overtones of pessimism. "I--Sure we...We can!" she said, attempting to maintain some level of friendly cheer, "nothing says that we can't, after all, right?"

This was perhaps the most awkward start to a friendship that Emvi had encountered, but to be fair, she only had an average amount of friends in middle school, so it wasn't as if she had started all that many friendships. At the very least, it seemed clear to her why others might want to stay away from a girl so gloomy. Maybe, if luck was on their side, they could reinvent themselves together.

Actually, no. That was a scary thought. The idea of reinventing herself suddenly brought a jolt of terror into Emvi's thoughts. Thankfully, she didn't show it.

"So...What do you make your rocks out of?" Emvi asked, slowly beginning to re-arrange the elements atop her desk into something resembling a structured order. An idle conversational habit, clearly. "Is it like sand and dust and stuff, or does it come from your body or something?"
