Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

*Boy did I need that sleep, I slowly got up from my spot under the tree in the park. I then noticed Lia was talking to that Natsu fellow. I stretched a bit, and put my hat on my head. I didn't really plan on sleeping for so long, but I guess it's best to be well rested than passing out in a fight.*

The time lord walked around to find a map, when one flew and hit him right in the face, blown by a breeze. The Doctor peeled it off his face to look at it, grinning when he saw that it was what he was looking for.

He stopped in place to look at it, eyes scanning the paper carefully.


Anyone is welcome to walk up to The Doctor and ask him if he needs help with something. *cough* *cough* (Or else I'll just move him along on my own with Arya. But help would make it more fun. )

A couple minutes after the map flew into the doctor's face, Arya sighed deeply.


She frowned and opened her eyes slowly, taking some deep breaths.


Still in the man's arms, she lifted her head and look at him.


She was completely silent for a few seconds, but then she realized what was going on.


Her accent was her usual English one again.


"... Oh dear. She has my memories now."


She wiggled herself out of his arms and stood on the ground, looking at the Doctor.


"She's me. Well I mean, she's you, technically. But then again, I'm you. So we're all just sort of... eachother."


Her eyes went to the map.


"Ah! The map! I suggest we make use of this quickly, this headache is much more annoying than I thought it was. Poor girl."

"All right, sounds like a plan," Lia replied. She walked around a bit, looking to see if anyone was around who could join them for their trip. She smiled, eventually spotting Manco from a distance. She waved to him.


"Hey, Manco! Are you busy?"

"She is also very hard to kill, her magic is deadly." Tyler frowned, and kissed Adain's cheek.
"Let's just go outside, look for some other survivors first." finally spoke Tyler.

Adain grinned, "Well first we need clothes sweet heart." Adain went to his closet and got dressed in faded gray distressed jeans, a tank top that says kiss me again mother fucker, and for the first time in months a pair of vans.

The Doctor was looking at the map when he was startled to hear Arya speak. She was awake again. But her regular accent had returned. Who did she think she was now? The time lord honestly hoped it was someone who could be helpful.


"You're awake," he said to her, not bothering to address her by name so he wouldn't mess it up. "Well, don't push yourself. You need to keep your mind as empty as possible or else you'll burn yourself out faster. I don't expect you to understand, but just trust me." He continued looking at the map.

Tyler smiled at Adain's comment, he wiggled his fingers, and in a instance his normal outfit clothed him. He adjusted his leather gloves, and shot Adain a charming grin,


"You look adorable." said Tyler as he hugged Adain, and kissed his cheek.


"Are you ready?"

*Natsu looks over to the man and sniffs him. Once done she goes back to Renagade and Lia sniffing them as well. She then goes back to the man. She thinks that is normal to do* Hello.

"Oh believe me, I do understand. I'll keep her mind as calm as possible while you look for the well on the map. You've got to give her the cure. But of course you know that... Are you still not with me?"


Arya sighed and rolled her eyes, stepping closer and trying to put her hands on his shoulders.


When she realized she wasn't tall enough to do that without standing on her toes, she just let her arms hang.


"She has your memories. Now excuse me, I need to try not to think about it too much."


She closed her eyes and took some deep breaths, calming herself down.

"Hello miss." *I said. That was a bit, odd...was she just sniffing me? I've ran into some weird people when I would hunt bounties, but never in my life has anyone sniffed me before.*

The Doctor's eyes widened. "My memories?" He breathed deeply, touching a hand to his forehead. "That can't be good. Out of all the memories in the universe, you had to find the one mind who contains all of time and space to become! That really can't be good for your head!"


He sighed and continued going over the map. "Nothing new, I've met myself many times before. Met others who thought they were me too. One fellow even tried to make a tardis out of a hot air balloon. But oh, you already know that, don't you? My memories and all."


The Doctor dropped the map from his face and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Looks like the well was taken down a long time ago. It looks like they built a church over where it used to be. That might be a good place to start. Better go check it out. Allons-y!"

"Almost." Adain said digging through his closet for something. "I want to see if this is an exact replica of my house before the war."


Adain pressed against the wall, and found what he was looking for. He moved a panel of wall, revealing a tall safe. He opened the safe. "Well I'll be damned its here."


A Remington .308 bolt action with a dark wood stock. "This was my grandpa's."

"I have no idea why she's doing that," Lia said with a laugh, watching Natsu sniff Manco. Renegade also went over to sniff him, but that was a normal sight, so she didn't pay attention to it. "But yeah, what she said, we're going for a walk to the mountains. Care to join us? The more the merrier. There isn't much to do around here so you're more than welcome." Manco would be a pretty useful guy to take along. He had saved her life a couple times already, after all.

"This was my grandpa's." said Adain.


"....Both you and you're grandpa shot guns?" asked Tyler.

Only looking up once every few seconds, she saw the top of the church coming closer and closer.

Siegfried simply followed the doctor and now Arya was the doctor, this was getting confusing, he had no idea where they could hide an antidote.


"Um if they were talking about a well, then there must be a water source there? I don't know maybe the antidote is involved with the water source somehow. But I'm at a loss. What about to map, where do you think it is?"

Tyler's eyes shot to Adain's firearm, then down to his hands, both raised and ready to launch Adain across the room. Relaxing, Tyler gave a smile,
"This was my grandpa's." said Adain.


"....Both you and you're grandpa shot guns?" asked Tyler.

"Yea he taught me how to shoot. I've also got this," pulls out a wood pipe and some pipe tobacco, "He gave me this too and another gun but I am going to just save it at all cost."


Adain closed the safe and replaced the panel. He sat on the bed loading the gun. "I can't believe this is all perfect. Like just how it was before it all began."


He closed the bolt and got up, a tear falling down his face, "Lets go." his voice almost non existent.

"Right, right, will do, now don't interrupt me Doctor Arya I'm trying to come up with something brilliant!" The Doctor replied, rubbing his own temples in the exact same manner Arya did. The time lord probably would let her run into a wall at this rate. He wasn't really paying attention.


He glanced to his side, seeing Siegfried join them again. "Ah, good to see you again. It appears the map from before was outdated. I got a new one and it seems that the well is no more. They built a church over it ages ago. I suggest we search inside it, or see if it has a cellar that leads under it. The potion very well could be around there somewhere."


As they were quickly approaching the church, The Doctor could feel his own head start to throb again. He groaned. "Not again," he mumbled, hoping that his mind wasn't about to produce anymore monsters from the potion he had drank. He picked up his pace just in case.

Tyler titled his head as Adain loaded his gun, if Adain had his most valued item in his home, would Tyler have his spell book? it's magic would perfect it from the fire, but not Queen Elizabeth. He only came to reality when Adain almost non-existent voice suggest it was time to go. Tyler Nodded,
"You lead, it's you're house."

Adain started out the bedroom door, and walked downstairs. "This way." he called his voice showing nothing.


He made it to the living room, a small plasma tv, a book cover coffee table, and a love seat. The walls covered in art of various forms.


Adain motioned towards the door, showing Tyler the exit, but walked to the kitchen grabbing a coke and a pack of cigarettes out of the freezer.


He walked out on the porch and waited scanning the area, ready to kill anything that didnt belong.
