As they walked along, Renegade noticed the ash floating down and leaped into the air to catch some in his mouth. He swallowed it and coughed a moment afterwards, regretting he had done that.


"Renegade!" Lia scolded, glancing to her troublesome dog.


She shook her head and continued walking. "So do I look like a ragged old woman with all this white ash in my hair?" she asked the others, partly joking.

*I ignored the small joke Lia had made. I wiped away some of the fallen ash on top of my hat, so it wouldn't leave any marks. I continued to walk, silently... I eyed our surroundings, and kept my hand close to my revolver. I don't like this one bit.*

Tyler smiled, and looked to Adain,
"I get it, I really do." said Tyler, his tone sweet. He walked carefully down the street, and to the town's park, as he arrived he stopped and sat at a picnic table. He raised his voice, shouting to anyone nearby.


'Is anyone around!?"

Of course someone was around. Regina lay next to the house on fire, her once perfect skin blistered all over. Her clothes were completely burnt away, and the grass around her had small fires raging around it.


So, someone was around. It's too bad that Regina was passed out.


If she wasn't a second away from dying, she might of said something.

He did what the Doctor said, but was still confused as to why, he tried his best to stare them down, but was tempted to look away


"Uh, good Idea doctor, but what exactly do those things do?" He pointed at the angels

Lia narrowed her eyes, going silent as well. Jeez, tough crowd. She was only trying to keep a good mood up. They could have even insulted her looks and she wouldn't have cared. At least it would have been better than silence. She didn't really see herself as a decent looking woman anyhow. The way she dressed sort of like a boy reflected that.


She sighed and ran a hand through her hair to try and shake some off the ash off that made it look white.

*Natsu giggles at the joke. The heat never bothered him from the moment they started. Being a flame magic user and all. It was odd for the others. Natsu gets some ash and places it all over her head. In an old women voice* Nyah kids!

Arya tried not to think about it.


She was attempting to shut out all information coming in from her environment.


"Nymeria! Do what the man says, girl!"


She did her best to sound like the actual Arya , and it seemed to work.


While she was squeezing her eyes shut and covering her ears, Nymeria stood and looked straight at the statues.

"Uh, good Idea doctor, but what exactly do those things do?" He pointed at the angels

"They'll snap your neck faster than you can bat an eyelash. Don't look away from them unless you think you have the guts to challenge one. But I highly suggest you not become foolishly gutsy."


The Doctor gripped his head and groaned again from pain, reminding him he needed to hurry and find the potion before more monsters spawned from his mind.


"Right, uh, you just keep looking at the angels and I'll going to explore this place! It's small enough! I hope..."


He stayed in the same room as Arya and Sigfried and began to look under pews, around the alter, and at other various spots.


"Oh, think! Where would one keep potions in a church?!" He shouted, to nobody in particular.

Lia smiled lightly when Natsu responded positively to her comment and dumped some ash on her head. "Heh, well I think I can pull off an old lady pretty well. You can too." she teased back before glancing to Manco. "Don't be a stiff. Lighten up, let's see if you can pull it off," she said, picking up some ash and tossing it at him like it was snow. He had a hat on so it didn't get in his hair, but it still piled on his hat. She laughed.

"True, but you can still keep watch in this environment without a frown on your face," Lia replied. "I totally get the whole silence and keep to yourself kind of attitude. That's always been me." Lia had always kept away from people as much as she could since her family had died. "I'm just trying to lighten up more lately. Maybe because I could die any day, and I don't want to die knowing I didn't live happily as much as I could have." She smiled and shoved a little more ash on Manco before turning to shove some on Natsu as well. "Now all your clothes are getting white!" She said to Natsu with a chuckle.

Arya realized the danger everyone was in now.


There would be a time when Nymeria and Siegfried both closed their eyes, and then none of them would ever open them again.


She opened her eyes and started looking at the statues as well, her vision spinning and her head throbbing.


"Siegfried! Tell me when you need to blink!"


Her, Siegfried and Nymeria continued to switch shifts, making sure there were eyes on the statues the whole time.


She knew that both she and the real doctor were both suffering, and also what the real doctor's intentions were.


I just need to give myself enough time, and keep this body alive.
