Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

The fire troll stood just before the 3 way split off, sniffing the air, and directing its self towards the red dragon's lair based on the swift of strange smalls. 



"M-my....no, you can't you'll burn to death....." Mumbled Tyler as he shook his head. "Nothing, just hope this women survives." replied Tyler.

*I could hear something to my left approaching us, I quickly got up, and faced the direction of where the sound was coming from. I saw a giant...well, thing. I pulled out my revolver, and readied my hand over the hammer of the pistol. If it gets any closer, I can fan off six shots in three seconds, but then I'll have to reload. I continued to aim my pistol at the beast, ready to fire.*

The Doctor searched the church as quick as he could, rummaging through everything he could find. His search became more intense after a while; he tossed boxes aside, kicked chairs over, and even picked up an offering plate and tossed it toward a stained glass window, cracking it. Okay, the last one didn't have much to do with searching, but the time lord was getting frustrated.


"Where is it?!" He cried. His frustration and the adrenaline flowing through his veins, causing his hearts to pump faster, and the potion in his body activated again. This time, summoning a dalek.


The robotic creature charged a beam of deadly energy, aiming its weapon at Nymeria. It fired a blast!

Siegfried zoned himself out so he could stare ahead for a longer time, he heard Arya's words and nodded, he would have to blink soon so he said


"Gotta blink!"


Suddenly a small robot started charging a beam and then fired it at the wolf, Siegfried tackled Nyemeria so the Dire wolf could avoid it, the beam manages to slightly scrape his leg, leaving a large burn and he cursed


"Don't blink Arya!"

*Looks over seeing the beast. Natsu grows a smile that is cocky and evil at the same time. She gets off of Lia and laughs at the beast* Ahahahaha I was wondering when I would get a good snack!

The fire troll grinned, its long tongue retreating into its mouth. He looked between the three survivors, and finally spoke with his soft male voice, "You are here why?" the fire troll took another step towards the survivors,


"Why do you search this land?" asked the fire troll.

It was the absolute worst time for Arya to blink.


She blinked the second before Siegfried told her not to, when Arya opened her eyes, she felt cold, stone fingers on her neck.


The angel was an instant away from grabbing her neck, but wasn't quite there yet.


She slowly stepped back, remaining calm and keeping her eyes on it.


"Did you check the basement like you told yourself to?" she called to the Doctor.


"Because the situation is slowly getting out of hand..."


She couldn't watch anything else or she'd die.


She had taken ten steps back by now, but she knew that a single blink would still be enough for her to get her neck snapped.

Tyler lowered his hands, and looked to Adain, "carry her, do that. We need to get her back to you're place." spoke Tyler, his voice almost in a panic.

"Put her on my back and hold my gun." He set his gun down.

Doc Brown released a burst of blue, and then suddenly a large ring popped out. "The Dimension Jumper? How is it not broken beyond repair!?" He shooed Eddie back to his room, then jumped through, the Diemension Jumper once again disappearing.


(That's my ticket out of here while still keeping Doc Brown alive. Sorry, but I've just got too much stuff going on right now to participate in this roleplay, although I should be able to join the next Murder event, hopefully by then my problems should be all sorted out.)

Lia couldn't help but laugh more, chuckling until Natsu jumped away from her. She glanced up after catching her breath back, surprised to see the troll ahead of them.


"Don't hurt it, guys, let's see what it has to say." Lia stood up and brushed a bit more of ash off herself. Renegade moved to her side, growling at the troll. "Why do you need to know what we're doing? Natsu's right. Why are you asking these questions?" she asked the troll, narrowing her eyes.

Siegfried also looked away and when he opened his eyes as if almost in and instant, 3 weeping angels were surrounding him and Nymeria, one already had it's hands on his cloak, slowly, he scooted away with Nymeria while staring at them, he went over to Arya and said


"We should sit back to back so we don't have any blind spots, and we can call out when we have to blink, or side to side against that wall of the church at the very end, that way there won't be a possible blind spot!"


He started signaling her to scoot over while staring at them, if she required help he would help her.

The direwolf was a target that was hard to miss.
It tried to jump out of the way as soon as it saw the beam heading her way, but she wouldn't get far enough.

The Doctor winced, hearing the sound of Siegfried curse and knowing he had been struck by the dalek. He heard Arya call out to him next, reminding him to check the basement.


"R-Right, but don't either of you die on me while I do!" He rushed toward a door that led to the basement. It was locked, but he quickly took out his sonic screwdriver and unlocked it before rushing down there.


Meanwhile, the dalek who had missed shooting Nymeria hadn't given up yet. He rolled toward Siegfriend now, charging another blast of energy. "Exterminate!" It cried, shooting another beam of energy at him.


The weeping angel that had its hand grasping Arya's throat had its fingers digging into her neck, casuing her flesh to bleed. If she wiggled just enough, she might be able to move from it's grip. But of course, she would have to manage this without blinking.

She nodded her head. Octavian was right. The mountains were a new unknown, and chances are that nothing but trouble waited for them on the surface it. "Agreed."
The soldier turned her head down to the buildings around them and looked around. A jewelry store was sitting on the side with not a single other person in sight. She took a quick glance at Octavian and sheepishly smiled at him as she pointed at the store with her Lasgun. "Our vicinity has been awfully quiet. You wouldn't mind if I... take a look around a bit, hmm?"

Octavian turned, seeing the store she was pointing towards. "I don't mind," he said, shrugging, as he headed towards a store, a small bakery. He looked around inside, seeing nothing threatening, before sorting through the shelves for some quality bread. He was quite hungry, and was pretty sure the others were aswell.

Well that was easy. *Natsu was still in a playful mood so she turns to Lia and tries to lightly tackle her into a pile of ash to tickle her again*

Lia folded her arms, raising an eyebrow. "I have a feeling it's not over. I think we'll see him again. But for now, we shouldn't worry about it. Let's just continue up the mountain for a while and then maybe stop for the evening and get some rest. When we're tired. That sound good?"

The pain had become so intense, she could barely even see anymore.


All she knew was that her eyes were open, and that was enough.


And it wasn't just the pain in her head anymore, now the wounds in her neck were stinging as well.


Arya nodded.


"Yes... Let's get to that wall."


Continuing their strategy of telling eachother when to blink and with Nymeria following, they walked slowly to the wall.


"I can't... hold on anymore... Her mind is too fragile..."


When her back hit the wall, she slid down and sat against it, her head slowly spinning.


She kept her eyes open though, she would for as long as she could...

*I holstered my pistol, and looked over a Lia, "Good idea..." I replied. She's right, we should stop and get some rest, especially after that encounter with that giant. We could just set up camp here for the night, but lets see how far we can get up that mountain before nightfall.*

The Doctor frantically searched the basement, crying out to the other two, "Yes, the angels are weak while they aren't moving! I suggest you take advantage of that. But hurry! A single blink and one could snap your neck before you can even move!"


When Siegfried looked away to glance at Nymeria, an angel statue nobody was looking at took advantage and grabbed his arm, probably fracturing the bone in it before he could glance back to stop it from doing further damage.


The dalek felt the damage of the shots hit its metal surface, doing little damage. The Doctor could hear it cry, "Exterminate!" and knew it was still after them.


"Aim for the eye stalk! That's a dalek's weak spot! It will be blinded!" The time lord shouted from the basement before spotting a box similar to the ones he had seen last week at the warehouse. His hearts skipped a beat. That had to be the box!


He moved to take it down, but in front of him spawned another creature: a cyber man made of metal.

She tried moving, groaning as she slowly wiggled around, as if the fight was drained from her after a couple of seconds, she gave up, and went limp on the man's shoulder. She was too weak to fight.


Think dirty thoughts, Regina. If it's gonna happen, at least let it happen smoothly. Dirty dirty dirty.

Octavian turned, seeing the store she was pointing towards. "I don't mind," he said, shrugging, as he headed towards a store, a small bakery. Blake perused through the assortments of earrings and necklaces that lined the display cases scattered around the store. It felt good to do something normal for once. No worries about Shadows, or Jack, or whatever the hell those beings Octavian mentioned before. She began to wonder if the tester could really contain her group. Maybe they could break out on their own...? The soldier shook her head. That can wait. Now was the time to pick out something that matched her new outfit.
She continued to browse the selection until she stopped in place. Her eyes spotted blue oval-shaped stone earrings that caught her attention. Blake held them up to her ears and looked in a small mirror, feeling its smoothness. They offered a nice contrast to her new red attire, and they don't feel as heavy as her current ones... She smiled. Blake removed her orange ball earrings and hooked on her new pair, and then examined herself in the mirror again. They definitely made her look more powerful.


Happy with her change in appearance, she left the store and joined Octavian in the nearby bakery. She tapped on his shoulder and moved her hair enough for Octavian to see her new earrings. "Octavian, what do you think of my new selection?" she asked him. What she didn't notice in the mirror for some unknown reason was that her eyes were now a rich dark red, compared to her usual orange eyes.

Lia nodded. "Yeah, there's a little more light left in the sky before the sun sets. Let's use it to our advantage. Maybe along the way we can even tell each others stories? I have one that might be interesting to the two of you." She smiled and dusted herself off, continuing to walk. As she walked, Renegade popped out of a bush with a large rock in his mouth. He badly wanted something to play with and was making due with what was around.

I have plenty of stories I could tell, but most of them are about when I was hunting bounties, and when I saved a town from two rival gangs...and how I almost got killed by the person who I worked with to hunt down bounties.*

*Natsu had her hands behind her head letting the ash fall on her like it was normal. A breeze opened her top. She forgot to get more cloth to cover her boobs so now they were in full veiw. She didn't care. It was just a body part to her. Though she liked looking at others. She ate some of the ash every now and then as well for a light snack. After the wind died her breasts just hanged out* Let's hear it then. *she didn't look to her for Natsu stared at the coulds*
